In my point of view,Kantan is like ''1/1 based'',the gap is so big,that's why it needs finishers for the emphasising purpose.
For Inner Oni,the patterns are so dense there,as the first beat,it needs to be a finisher to play a dominant role,so the patterns can be carried on in a smoother way.
For muzukashii (my difficulty) 00:28:972 - part,reason of not putting the finisher is that I guess you know that I'm mapping the drum instead of vocal(in fact I am trying to mix them,but I follow the drum more).And there's not a really strong drum beat there,it's not really dominant to me I'd say.That's why I didn't put a finisher there.
And 00:39:024 - ,I try to give player a break there as I put 4 1/1 space for player after this point.And you can also hear that the guitar sound for 00:39:024 - and 00:40:280 - are similar.Neither one of them is more dominant than the other one,that's why I also didn't put finisher there.

There's background drum kick on every 2nd and 4th beats in each bars in the kiai time,eg 01:09:495 - 01:10:280 - 01:10:752 - etc.
That's why I put them all k,and the reason that why I put other notes at d is that I try to emphasize the drum.My mapping style in this difficulty is following the drum,and mix with vocal sometimes.If I change these to kat,it will make the mapping style become inconsistent somehow,and also lose the emphasising effect for this part.I agree that using variation is important.However,in fact I have use variation for the use of triplets,not the patterns(d/k).Like there're more triplets in the kiai time to show the intensity of the music.So I think keeping these d is fine.For consistency of mapping style purpose

00:55:202 (167,168,169,170,171,172,173) - Something that bugs me a lot is that you tend to mix vocals and BGM a lot and to switch between them. For that part, make it either d k ddk d k or k d ddk k d.
01:13:579 (322) - should be k so it goes well with the vocals.
01:14:364 (326,327) - move the notes to 01:14:050 - and 01:14:129 - . It sounds more suitable to leave 01:14:364 - empty since the vocals appears on 01:14:050 - and 01:14:129 - which gives a more natural transistion with the song.

I don't know.. it may be me to feel that but Kiai feels inconsistent in the follow if you go with the vocals OR the background music. It's okay to combine that but then again I don't feel that the structure is clear for that part. Sometimes the vocal/bgm follow is coming forward, then sometimes some own rhythm which sounds fine appears and lastly these unknowing, weird, imo unfitting pattern are used and I am unsure how to feel about them. I will come later to this again.

Oni looks okay to go but the rest should have some more checks if you ask me.

It's okay to combine that but then again I don't feel that the structure is clear for that part. Sometimes the vocal/bgm follow is coming forward, then sometimes some own rhythm which sounds fine appears and lastly these unknowing, weird, imo unfitting pattern are used and I am unsure how to feel about them. I will come later to this again.

It's by far better than the last time I've modded the map but still shows flaws at certain part. And for Inner Oni I am still unsure how I should think about it.

Oni looks okay to go but the rest should have some more checks if you ask me.
