@yaspo dont take sentences out of context please, la never implied any of what you inferred. and no, not everyone here is interested in helping the map, clearly

seems voli is satisfied with the hitsounding now, so i suppose i can rebubble now. i’ll stop by after things have calmed down

"hitsounding" is oriented to give feedback and reflect the maps rhythm in accordance to the song. The mapper did follow vocals, that's why you use hi-hats, bells or any other "whistle" oriented sounds on the main slider-heads and circles more emphasized (such as 00:06:212 (1,2,3) - where the whistle is on the strong vocal 00:06:712 (3) - and also follow the maps execution that makes that slider stand out more). Giving drums their feedback didn't make this map any worse in following the vocals or any other melody.

@yaspo there's a line between accepting a few ideas or changing some concerns that fit your idea for the map and bending over so that everyone can have their turn at sticking their opinion in. look through the thread, and read everything. it should be pretty obvious what this turned into

  1. 00:04:962 (5) - having this as a 3/4 slider would be nice to havea nice transition for the next section and to also have it contrast from the other 1/2 sliders
  2. 01:10:712 (5,6,7,8,9) - spacing seems a bit low consider the difficulty of the others streams + the entire map as a whole

  2. 00:50:587 (2,3,4) - rhythm + patterning felt a bit weird to play
  3. 00:48:712 (4,5) - i think having 2 circles here would be nice as it would meant the objects contrast to 00:49:212 (1) . Listening to the song there is a transition to a different at 00:49:212 (1) that has different feeling to it (honestly i dunno how to describe it with fancy music terms), but yh. The 2 sections are different in the music but feel very samey when you play it

  5. 01:09:087 (5) - I can't really see anything reason why this *has* to be a kickslider and not a circle

    - the circle to slider ratio is really, really low

    well you hit one nail on the head: because i felt like it
    the other one is because it's what the song supports, and most of my 1/2 is actually just oversimplification because i didn't know how to handle 240bpm 3/4 song at this diff level

  2. Also something that I think would be nice to consider is using 1.2x spacing for 1/1 beats. Beginners read beats much better when they don't overlap
  3. There are a few places in the verse like 00:33:212 (1,3) - where i think you could map these as circles and would fit. The lack of circles doesn't feel nice as a training diff imho

The reason why i made suggestions to rhythms such as 00:15:212 (1,2,3) and 00:11:212 (1,2,3) and 00:35:212 (1) - etc is because you have inconsisteny with the measures before it. Also when you have these somewhat arbritrary (emphasis on somewhat, pls dont kill me) it takes away emphasis when you use 1/2 sliders on the more emphatic places in the song such as 00:12:212 (4,5) and 00:16:712 (5,6) - etc

The reason why i made suggestions to rhythms such as 00:15:212 (1,2,3) and 00:11:212 (1,2,3) and 00:35:212 (1) - etc is because you have inconsisteny with the measures before it. Also when you have these somewhat arbritrary (emphasis on somewhat, pls dont kill me) it takes away emphasis when you use 1/2 sliders on the more emphatic places in the song such as 00:12:212 (4,5) and 00:16:712 (5,6) - etc

i still don't think there's anything necessarily wrong with this, it's just pretty consistent drum mapping with not much attention payed to the vocals. might make the map seem one dimensional but i have the same opinion that nely had about lowdiffs when she made this; that the easier they are to predict the better.

Just a quick question for Easy.

00:32:212 (5,1) - and 01:01:212 (1,2) - These only 1.0 spacing while you used 1.2 for the others. Was there reason behind these only using 1.0 or did you just miss them? While I can understand 00:32:212 (5,1) -, 01:01:212 (1,2) - contradicts with 01:09:212 (1,2) - since they are essentially the same.

Also one more thing.
01:11:212 (1,2,1) - in Easy I feel could be placed a little cleaner. Easiest and most effective way without changing much is to curve 01:10:212 (2) - downwards and place 01:11:212 (1) - in the top left corner. That leaves a lot more room for 01:12:712 (2) - so it doesn't look awkwardly placed.

fixed both of those, the first one was just an oversight that i missed (though i also didnt mind it as a leadin to the section, but its just as fine being consistent with the rest)

its because of the .osu file which is fucked, just move a note to somewhere and back and boom, its fixed

actual ctb sr is 3.49*, not 9.28*/10*+
