Difficulty Explanations

Infighter Extra
In Keijo, Infighters are close range fighters that mainly focused on power. The Infighters fully utilize their strength to sink their opponent in as little hits as possible. My difficulty represents this through sudden spikes in difficulty that are meant to "sink" the player and catch them off guard, where appropriate to the song.
Outfighter Extra
Outfighters are hit and run fighters that focused on speed and strategy. The Oufighters fully utilize their speed, and they are hard to be countered. Using their speed, they can dish out rapid fire burst attacks to sink their opponents. My difficulty represents this through consistent speed throughout the map, with high slider velocities and little breaks to symbolize the demanding energy it takes to be an Outfighter.
Counter Extra
Counters are fighters that focused on defense and utilized their opponent's strength to convert it into their own attack. Simply put, they take the advantages of the other fighting styles and use it to their advantage. This is shown through the difficulty by taking the player's advantages - reading, interpretation, etc. and misleading them in both to confuse them.

Most of these suggestions are for playability and enjoyment. I get understand the purpose of the map, but it still has to be somewhat fun.
When it comes to these sorts of maps, it's great fun to watch people stumble and mess about, but being them may not be. That doesn't mean the map has to be cut and dry, but it has to be something the brain can learn withing 3-5 times of playing. It can look and act like it's misdirecting but in the long run, you should probably want the players to subconsciously learn the patterns. And when they learn it without even really knowing they could it makes people feel great and that would draw people back to play it more. If it can't be learned without constant restarting people will usually discard the diff and won't look back. A great way to keep it looking and feeling like misdirection is "similar" patterns used throughout the song or section.

00:18:117 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - This is a very difficult pattern to be intuitive about, especially when some notes are covered up by AR8 sliders
00:57:704 (6) - Try and make this more noticeable that it isn't a quarter note
01:08:204 (1,2,3,1,2,3) - I would suggest revising this pattern
01:08:204 (1,2,3,1,2,3) - Even with it at the end and being repeated, it's still a very iffy pattern for play sakes

Second thought, if you don't feel like remaking a couple of the really scary patterns, maybe just raise the AR a hair. Like .3-.5
Makes it much more playable in my opinion
But AR8 still isn't my favourite thing in the world, so get more opinions of this diff, mine probably isn't the best but I think it still needs work

00:00:378 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1) - I wouldn't start with this pattern, it works much better after the near-end spinner
00:13:551 (4,5,6) - The speed and noting that these use don't line up with the song
00:17:073 (1) - You could try making just this note a circle instead of a 1/4 slider just to line up with song a bit more
or
00:17:073 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3) - You can fill up the empty space with 1/4 sliders but on each hard snare use a circle
00:43:682 (2) - Oh boy, this shape. It's a very neat shape but it's very confusing and doesn't fit with your other ones, I would suggest remaking it ;-;
01:07:812 (4,5,6) - These don't really follow anything in the song; speed or rhythm wise
01:26:334 (6,2,1) - Try to do something to make those notes stand out because they stand out in the song

Very very interesting and fun diff. Just needs a bit of tweeking

Infighter Extra
00:09:769 (1) - Line this up more with the stream, it's just a bit off
00:12:899 (1,2,3,1,2,3) - The triples here don't really fit with the vocals and the sliders that come after them on the off beat are awkward
00:17:073 (1,2,3,1,2,3) - It works better here because you can tell the song is leading up to something
00:53:856 (3,1,3,1,2,1) - The difference of the SV makes this feel odd. The "Ohh" and the "yeah" are the vocalized the same speed(not the same length) so making them a different SV makes it feel off when playing
01:21:769 (1,2,3,1,2,3) - The flow changes a bit too abruptly for a 230 bpm song

Everything else feels production ready on this diff

I do see where you're coming from though since it is a bit cancerous to play, especially with the sudden soft flow into sharp flow. it's the hardest part in the song though, and i do want some sharp points in reading like this to catch players off, though if people come up with suggestions i'll take them into consideration for these since they're so obnoxious.

00:17:073 (1) - You could try making just this note a circle instead of a 1/4 slider just to line up with song a bit more
or i know it's a bit overmapped, though i tried to do it purposefully with the song's intensity here

00:43:682 (2) - Oh boy, this shape. It's a very neat shape but it's very confusing and doesn't fit with your other ones, I would suggest remaking it ;-; i think the sudden shape change fits the song change upcoming nicely, it's a prep warning i suppose
01:07:812 (4,5,6) - These don't really follow anything in the song; speed or rhythm wisemy point was to emphasize vocals, though it is a bit excessive, will try some alternatives, though i dont have anything currently.
01:26:334 (6,2,1) - Try to do something to make those notes stand out because they stand out in the song for pattern's sake, will keep this time around ><;

00:12:899 (1,2,3,1,2,3) - The triples here don't really fit with the vocals and the sliders that come after them on the off beat are awkward it's not nearly as intense as the second instance, where i emphasize it with larger spacing/sharper snapping.
00:12:899 (1,2,3,1,2,3) - It works better here because you can tell the song is leading up to something
00:12:899 (1,2,3,1,2,3) - The difference of the SV makes this feel odd. The "Ohh" and the "yeah" are the vocalized the same speed(not the same length) so making them a different SV makes it feel off when playing however, the "yeah's" ar ea lot more poweful and i think deserve a higher SV for these patterns
01:21:769 (1,2,3,1,2,3) - The flow changes a bit too abruptly for a 230 bpm song changed quite a bit, agree, this was awful.

00:52:291 (6) - No flow. bad flow isn't necessarily a bad thing in mapping, and can be used to emphasize change in the song. here i'm trying to focus on the transition from the drums to vocals, and so a sharper anti flow way of mapping this here emphasizes that. bad flow can be a tool for emphasis if used correctly :)
00:57:769 (1) - Ignoring a beat in between. Maybe stack 2 circles before slider i see where you're coming from with this, though it really feels awkward for the intensity here.. i tried a kickslider as well as a triple but it just didnt feel right, so im gonna say no to this.
01:00:377 (5,6) - No flow. same reasoning as before
01:00:899 (1,2,3) - Same as point 2, (1,2) follow the beat and (3) the vocals. Follow just one. i think mapping what's most powerful at an instance in the music is more important, simply mapping to the drums when the vocals are so loud here feels wrong :(

Since I use a shit ton of extended sliders and kicksliders in my maps on a regular basis so I think i may be able to help you a bit with the outfighter diff.

[Outfighter Butt]
cuz there are soooo many kicksliders in this diff that they look spammy. You'd better be prepared for barrages of questions xd. Looking at the bright side, at least you are being pretty consistent with those things o/
Well I'm throwing all of them at you right now so you don't need to reply to these stuff later. (unless i miss some)
  1. 00:48:117 (3,4,1) - what is the difference between these ones and those 00:47:334 (1,2,1,2) - .
  2. 00:17:073 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3) - this is questionable especially the kicks. Well firstly kicks aren't very audible imo, at least the shouldn't be represented with kicksliders. Secondly, this is very inconsistent; 00:17:204 (2) - and 00:17:986 (3) - are on kicks, solely, but you decided to skip this one at 00:17:595 - right here. Maybe it's for emphasizing 00:17:464 (4) - but that isn't very consistent either since that one is pretty similar to 00:17:073 (1) - .
  3. 00:36:117 (1,1,1,1,1,1) - now this is a bit subjective. As I see them, they represent the drums. The problem is 00:36:638 (1,1) - are a different kind of drum, which is not very audible. Also, they somehow ruin the uniqueness of the part afterwards, namely from 00:36:899 (1) - . Right now they look like a big chunk of 1/4 spams starting at 00:36:117 (1) - . My suggestion would be making 00:36:638 (1,1) - a single 1/2 slider instead so it breaks that row of 1/4s.
  4. 00:48:899 (2,3,1) - This also ruins the emphasis pretty much similar to the thing above. The short break of instrumental here in the music is to make the hook stand out as a spike. Also, do you know that the distance here is equal to 00:48:117 (3,4,1) - despite the difference in intensity.
  5. 00:57:508 (4,5) - also do you know that you're mapping tons of vocals in the kiai xd and this is one of the two spots you mapped the instruments with kick/extended sliders in the kiai. Actually this is pretty good for the transition but they are a bit half baked rn. Lengthening 00:56:725 (1) - to a 1/1 slider should be better imo. 1/1 --> 1/1 --> 1/4 1/4 provides a shit ton of contrast.
  6. 01:05:595 (1,2,3,4) - a bit sad that the guitar right here is under-represented. Consider doing something like 01:17:595 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) -
  7. 01:13:943 (1,2) - would be sooo cool if these were 2 circles instead, so 01:13:682 (1) - and 01:14:204 (1) - represent the guitar.
  8. 01:25:943 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3) - i mentioned something similar to this somewhere before lol.
  9. 00:26:464 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1) - this makes me sad orz. The first two sliders seem like they're there only to shorten the stream orz. Something like this will also represent the vocal. A bit chaotic but make this part more unique and fun imo.
Will get to other lower diffs if i have the mood to do so lol. o/
just use the 0 bit hs to silence slidertails xd. I do that all the time lol

Maybe it's for emphasizing 00:17:464 (4) - but that isn't very consistent either since that one is pretty similar to 00:17:073 (1) - . i skipped one solely for the sake of slightly undermapping this so it isn't extremely intense. the rough flow makes it hard enough to play already, and increasing note density here would make this really uncomfortable to play. A lot of my decision on rhythm here was based on vocals AND kicks so i wouldnt consider undermapping that note in between that really lacked in vocals to be something that needs to be mapped.
  3. 00:36:117 (1,1,1,1,1,1) - now this is a bit subjective. As I see them, they represent the drums. The problem is 00:36:638 (1,1) - are a different kind of drum, which is not very audible. Also, they somehow ruin the uniqueness of the part afterwards, namely from 00:36:899 (1) - . Right now they look like a big chunk of 1/4 spams starting at 00:36:117 (1) - . My suggestion would be making 00:36:638 (1,1) - a single 1/2 slider instead so it breaks that row of 1/4s. personally i'd rather not, the drum is still clear there and I think the decreasing spacing into the large spacing of the 1/4 in the next section makes it a lot more powerful. I did remove the NC spam though since it was cancer.
  4. 00:48:899 (2,3,1) - This also ruins the emphasis pretty much similar to the thing above. The short break of instrumental here in the music is to make the hook stand out as a spike. Also, do you know that the distance here is equal to 00:48:117 (3,4,1) - despite the difference in intensity. valid point, nerfed spacing a lot on the vocal kick here.
  5. 00:57:508 (4,5) - also do you know that you're mapping tons of vocals in the kiai xd and this is one of the two spots you mapped the instruments with kick/extended sliders in the kiai. Actually this is pretty good for the transition but they are a bit half baked rn. Lengthening 00:56:725 (1) - to a 1/1 slider should be better imo. 1/1 --> 1/1 --> 1/4 1/4 provides a shit ton of contrast. that was the purpose though. the vocals get so powerful in the next sequence again and i want it to transition into that larger spacing with kicksliders like this.
  6. 01:05:595 (1,2,3,4) - a bit sad that the guitar right here is under-represented. Consider doing something like 01:17:595 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) - i prefer what i have for guitar emphasis personally, it's not as repetitive as the one you pointed out, with very repetitive motions, but this one has varying pitches on different intensities and so i wanted to represent that.
  7. 01:13:943 (1,2) - would be sooo cool if these were 2 circles instead, so 01:13:682 (1) - and 01:14:204 (1) - represent the guitar. it's the same guitar though /w\ i've mapped it like this throughout
  8. 01:25:943 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3) - i mentioned something similar to this somewhere before lol. and im gonna keep for the same reason :u
  9. 00:26:464 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1) - this makes me sad orz. The first two sliders seem like they're there only to shorten the stream orz. Something like this will also represent the vocal. A bit chaotic but make this part more unique and fun imo. agree, this was kinda boring. made it SPICY

  1. 00:01:160 (4,1) - I'd say it's a better idea to use two notes for those strongly emphasized beats at 00:01:421 (1) - but since you consistently used this sliderpattern, maybe a bit more spacing to make it feel less underwhelming?
  2. 00:15:377 (2,3,4) - Perhaps rearranging the notes like this https://voli.s-ul.eu/mwDtQ3AR would play better, the movement between 00:14:986 (1,2,3) - is kinda iffy imo

The AR kinda ruins a lot of your patterns in the map because you have so much stacking and everything going on that it just becomes a convoluted mess with this AR - I recommend at least ar9+ idk

I think the diff has a lot of interesting/cool ideas but the AR kinda blows it for me D: I'd really consider upping it a bit
