SVs below 0.1x are unrankable. dont listen to the gd'er. there is no designated section on SV rules so its not on the criteria. however, it is still a rule and nobody will rank it otherwise. well, im pretty sure. if i'm wrong don't kill me, but there is no way in hell that end section in 4k is rankable.

  1. yeah okay, maybe they're rank-able but only in certain uses. that end section of your 4K diff is really not suited. its cool dont get me wrong, but it's literal cancer to read. SVs like those are more suited for graveyard maps tbh. i would honestly just delete them so its like the 6k diff or tone them down a bit.

  2. normalising SVs is a must. you can't not unless you have a r e a l l y good reason to. basically that means you have to, especially for this map since justification is impossible for these types of SVs tbh. if you don't believe me speak to the SV master prot and she'll tell you ; ))))))))))))))))

  3. 00:54:669 (54669|3) - well.... this LN is quite disturbing the fun from this part (maybe its only me) i know that you're following the bass but you have to consider it again, i mean you can ignore the bass and change it into single note.
  4. 00:55:698 (55698|0,55698|3,55698|1) - you can put quad here to increase the impact, i think triple doesnt fit when it comes to crash + super loud bass. so i would suggest you to put quad.
  5. 00:56:383 (56383|0,56383|2,57069|2,57069|3,57755|1,57755|3) - and so on, same reason as above. it would be more fun if you put triple in here
  6. from 01:17:641 - until 02:01:355 - well, im a realy big fan of LN and i see that this section is more fun using LNs instead of notes. why? there're 2 points that i wanna discuss, first you put SVs to make a slow jam and it will be more harder and more challenging when you put LNs on it. second is the LN, why it has to be LN? is it a problem when im using notes? my answer is simple, LNs will be more fit than notes. dont forget that i dont force you to change this into LNs, its my oppinion about making this into LNs.

i think that all from me, overall the mapset is good enough and fun but the next problem of this mapset right after the patterning stuff are the SVs. why? some of them are good enough (like on the last section, i love it xD) and some of them are unreadable and sometimes they're unpredictable. i suggest you to ask for the SVs mod more. okay then, good luck!

00:33:069 - Average SV of this section is 0.55x which is pretty low and difficult to read for an SV sequence that's 2 beats long. What I would suggest doing instead is average it to 1x by splitting half half values, like this
  1. 00:33:069 - 0.1x
  2. 00:33:155 - 0.3x
  3. 00:33:241 - 0.5x
  4. 00:33:326 - 0.7x
  5. 00:33:412 - 1.3x
  6. 00:33:498 - 1.5x
  7. 00:33:583 - 1.7x
  8. 00:33:669 - 1.9x
  9. 00:33:755 - 1.0x
00:33:755 - These are also not averaged, and these type of SVs continue up until 00:54:669 - which is essentially forcing the player to read one long slowjam. (0.25 + 1.25) / 2 = 0.75x slowjam. What you could do is either increase the 0.25x/1.25x to 0.75x/1.75x respectively, or you could move the second (1.25x) SV up to the blue tick after the upbeat and make it 3.25x to average to 1x too. It's a much stronger effect this way, and I'd recommend reversing it to start fast and then go slow instead.

00:44:555 - 00:44:641 - Would be nice to do a stutter here. To contrast the half half SVs here, you could set snap to 1/16 and do something pretty strong like 3.1x to 0.3x at 00:44:555 - 00:44:576 - respectively.

00:49:869 - Since the previous SV sequence ended on a fast SV, I would make this start on a slow one to better show the difference in scroll speed values. So then this LN would have SVs like so
  1. 00:49:869 - 0.25x
  2. 00:49:955 - 0.5x
  3. 00:50:041 - 1.5x
  4. 00:50:126 - 1.75x
00:54:669 - Seems a bit off to discontinue the SV here and set it to 1x for only 1/2 a beat before going back to slower SV values at 00:54:841 - . I would suggest just having the SV here be consistent with the previous ones and set it to 0.25x (or whatever fixed and averaged value you choose)

00:55:012 - 0.01x SV is unrankable. The minimum accepted value is 0.1x. Also, I'd prefer if there was a note here to represent the screamish type sound and also to help give the player some reference to read the SV with. Possible SV you could do here that would be averaged:
  1. 00:55:012 - 0.4x
  2. 00:55:183 - 0.8x
  3. 00:55:355 - 1.2x
  4. 00:55:526 - 1.6x
00:56:041 - 00:56:726 - 00:57:412 - 00:58:098 - 00:58:783 - And so on. Why start the SV 1/4 after the downbeat and not on the downbeat directly where the sound begins? Additionally, the SV only averages to (0.75 + 0.5 + 0.25) / 3 = 0.5x average. Make the first downbeat 2.5x and it averages to 1x.

01:00:241 - Beginning here, all your SVs start to become unsnapped by 1 - 4 ms. Please resnap them to the blue ticks.

01:05:986 - Should be snapped to 01:05:983 -

01:06:155 - 01:06:241 - I would leave these as 1x since the staccato like separation between all the notes doesn't really come in until the last downbeat of the measure at 01:06:326 - .

01:06:326 - 01:06:412 - 01:06:498 - 01:06:583 - Again, 0.01x is unrankable, and this is unaveraged. If you really wanted something strong, 3.7x to 0.1x would be the max you could do using 1/16 snaps, unless you doubled the BPM and used 8 unit SVs.

02:02:041 - 02:02:726 - 02:03:412 - and so on. Should be 2.5x to average with the 0.5x. The catch is really hard

Also I read it whilst I scrolled the thread saying 0.1x in unrankable. No it's not. Ranking Criteria doesn't state 0.1x as unrankable, explicitly and implicitly. It's not changed by editing .osu via Notepad (editing SV via notepad is still fine AFAIK). The problem is that osu forces SV multipliers below 0.10x to exactly 0.10x which makes it not recommended to use.
