General
  • *Beginner/easy/normal all lack hitsounding, I personally suggest to use soft whistle from the begin to 00:15:890 - and drum whistles or drum claps for the rest of the song. If youre wondering where you shoudl place them: it usually works to place that hitsound on every 2nd/4th beat.

    With every 2nd/4th beat I mean these marked beats:

    *I noticed how theres this huge break in beginner/easy at 00:46:640 -, the break is like more than a half minute which is a lot especially on a 2 min song. Try mapping those parts as well please!


Beginner
  • *Okay I know how beginner is supposed to be super easy but this might be easier than the tutorial... You should fill up some breaks with circles. I recently read the ranking criteria list and it seemed they really appreciated circle sections as well, so just fill up some breaks with a circle or two. I know its beginner but this might even bore a new player ><
    *You should also make the super long sliders less long, its not fun even for newbies to hold their mouse for this ridiculously long, for example here 01:38:140 (1) - they hold their mouse for 13 seconds, which isnt very fun


Easy
  • *00:12:890 (1,2) - there should be no reason to make the (2) appear so quickly after (1). Nothing special in the music indicates doing that so just make (1) repeat or use a circle on the place where (2) ended.
    *00:16:140 - from this point on all the way to the break you made the new combo's a bit random, you should try to aim for a new combo every measure (every big white line). If a slider ends on the big white line then add a new combo to the circle that comes afterwards.
    *01:28:140 (3) - I think this slider looks a bit... weak? I often like to add a red point in the middle of a slider so it feels a bit better. You have to rearrange the gray points a bit though.


Normal

  • *00:07:140 (2) - yeah that (2) is way too close to (1), you shouldn't do 1/4 stuff in general on normals. I think this might be unrankable, since the ranked criteria specify that only 1/2, 1/1 or slower should be used. (read more here t/517731)
    *00:12:140 (3,1) - distance between (3) and (1) is too hard for new players, just make (3) repeat.
    *00:16:140 - again the new combo is a bit random, please read what I typed at easy
    *00:23:140 (1) - its kinda ugly when (1) touches (3), you should move it a bit so it only touches (5) and (1)

Little's insane

  • *Yeah uh new combo's are a bit too much, especially the ones that end up being only (1) combo long. For example 00:03:140 (1) shouldnt be a new combo, just increase the spacing a bit and it should be fine. 00:09:515 this shouldnt be a new combo either, its obvious how the pattern work so you dont need a new combo here. 00:13:640 this one neither, but I think they look fine here 00:14:140(1,1,1)
    *00:10:890 (2,1) - Its not obvious enough that these two circles are 1/2 from each other compared to the (1,2) note before that. Just move (2) a bit closer to the note before it.
    *00:26:640 (1,2) - feels like this should be spaced out, the next two circles are already standing still so it would be nicer to have some movement at least
    *00:47:015 - oh did you know you can move breaks around, you can do so by moving your mouse on top of the timeline on the top where the break starts, until you see an arrow pointer. You shold move this break to 00:48:140 -, it will have a nicer effect.
    *01:00:140 - something about this slider is off, its shape just doesnt look right... it curves a bit too hard, you should make it steady like the slider before it..
    *01:12:140 - you know its pretty cool that it follows the instrmental only but I personally think youre overdoing it a bit at this point though, I think that halfway through it you should try adding more notes, it doesnt ahve to be a lot but just somethign to fill up these breaks (its annoying that these arrows keep pointing at u again lol)
    *01:20:140 (1,2,3,4) - I feel like you shouldnt start kiai with these notes, theyre confusing.. I feel like you should do something like this 01:22:140 (1,2,3) - and use these notes a bit later then, when the plyer knows the rhythm better.
    *01:20:890 - remove nc... the combos are getting a bit weird from this point on, I really think you should look for a way to remove those extremelyshort combo's since they (in my opinion) dont look that nice at all... (for example 01:29:640 looks a bit odd)
    *01:23:015 (3) - I personally think it looks better if you place that circle more lke this http://puu.sh/tRAb6/8bf0f44ce2.png its very cluttered the way it is right now
    *01:32:390 - I think it sounds better if you add a note here, also flows a bit better
    *01:25:390 (1) - I dont like the usage of placing a note on the exact same spot as the last note, it feels like not much of the play area is used when youre doing this, maybe you can find a better place for this note? this one as well 01:35:515 (1) -
    *01:36:515 (1,2,3,4) - I know you like to play with spacing a lot but its a bit too confusing here, i clicked it like those were all part of a triplet like you did here 01:33:890 (1,2,3). You should use sliders to show that the song is slowing down a bit again. Also new combo's are a bit weird here as well..

To be short about this diff, im not sure if this is rankable. Ive never seen a 0,36* beatmap and the "easiest" one i have is 0,86*
The thing about this is that this is supposed to be a rhythm game while this diff... well it doesnt really accomplish that. It feels like its just random objects placed for 10 measures and it is really not necessary to have something like that when you actually already have a good easy diff
As i said im not sure if this is rankable and i honestly doubt it since.. well as i said it seems like its just random objects that are not mapped to anything in the music :/

Im not so good at modding low * diffs but theres still some stuff thats improvable
00:45:140 (3) - (already this is kinda questionable for an easy diff.. but oh well)
00:46:140 (1,1) - But this is not a good rhythm for easy. While its super easy to play for you you should prob make the slider longer and make it end on the tick where the circle atm is because its just so sudden and kinda unexpected, and it doesnt even is like this in the music because in the music it should be ending on the blue tick, therefore i really think you should just make the slider longer. Its prob just gonna confuse beginners.
01:21:640 (2) - While i dont like, and i do that like never ever, i dont like telling ppl "map downbeat blabla" i really think its necessary here, especially for the easy. This downbeat is just too strong to deserve only a sliderend and nothing clickable. I think making 2 circles here, or even better 1 circle + slider and mapping a bit diff after this would be great here. (Like this for example https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/7341501 )
01:39:140 (1) - I think you should do something else here, not a repeat slider again. I dont really think this fits to the music to do 2 in a row (especially how you mapped both over downbeats)
Ncs in this diff are kinda random at some times (at the end for example). Redo them at these points. the best thing you could do is making a nc every big white tick or every second one. Just decide what fits better for the sections but it should be consistent for each section!

00:13:390 (4) - Fix spacing. This is unrankable (not sure if you did this intentional or not, maybe just a mistake) but this anti jump is just nothing for a normal.
00:13:890 (5) - Try to not make such spacing mistakes when you can clearly see its still touching the slider before but not the next one ^^
00:17:390 - You shouldnt just make a break here once and then later when theres literally the same "breaks" music wise you just map over them so. while its nice to have some variety i dont think just letting beats pass and mapping them later is a good thing to make variety ^^

I really think you have to change this.

01:00:140 (1) - Also not sure what to say about this slider.. i think you can make something way more beautiful here xD

Otherwise i really dont know what to say about this diff. While its not really bad, i think you still have to do some work on this. The spacing seems kinda random often and you could rely on the music more imo spacing-wise

01:39:640 (1,2) - Here should be less of a jump and 01:39:890 (2,3) - should be higher spacing to emphasize this one more.

And when you map the drums and make breaks like 01:41:390 - , where hes still actively singing i dont think its a good idea to have nothing in for so long, you should do sliders over these parts most of the time, and let breaks be special for parts where the music is actually silent.

Also 00:17:176 - here you did nothing while 00:19:426 - is literally the same and you mapped it fully. Fill in the gaps instead of just having nothing there, even if its just a slider or something
00:24:890 - Here you could make a nice slider or something to emphasize the silent thingy that the song has here and instead you try to add your own beat into the song by adding 00:25:140 (2) - which is not right imo :/
00:33:390 - This too skipped beats that are kinda strong (also no you didnt even map the bg music here cuz you placed a beat on 00:33:140 (3) - , and even if you did i think just letting such a big gap is not that good and you should make a slider again)


Idk.. the diff is supposed to be kinda confusing i guess but you can do it without all these gaps and and still map the music better AND make it confusing at the same time. Its kinda not fun if you have to "guess" the beats (not saying that you didnt map to the music but your really missing important beats or mapped some beats that arent there and therefore kinda confusing since its not really sure on what you focus on when you do that)

Also ar9 for 3,9* is a bit too much. It should be 8 or 8,5 max.

rhythm-wise seems to be fine so i just gonna point out aesthetics and object placement
00:04:150 (1,2,3) - about this and the whole section, tbh: right now spacing doesnt make a consistant pattern, its not looking well nor playing well, so here are my suggestions:

so, i noticed you were increasing spacing between notes of this 00:02:150 (1,2,3) - and 00:06:150 (1,2,3) - the same rhythm, so i would suggest space these notes out 00:04:150 (1,2,3) - somewhere inbetween, and overall - make consistant spacing to easy determine patterns of different rhythm. for example:
make all 1/4 jumps here 00:03:400 (1,2,3) - reversable like this , and white-to-blue tick jumps like this 00:10:150 (1,2,3) - more spaced out like you did here 00:06:150 (1,2,3) - so you sort of bind a pattern of some shape to specific rhythm. its easier to read and also more pleasant to view. Also, if you do that, change this 00:00:150 (1,2,3) - as well. With this you will easily explain to a player "well, heres 00:02:150 (1,2,3) - slow jump, because notes are spaced further, but this 00:01:400 (1) - is 1/4 jump, so you just move your cursor back and forth, first on a slider, then on jumps of the same pattern. This way the player would easily recognize if its a 1/4 jump or a regular one, so you can make different spacing as well, the shape of a pattern will explain everything for you. So you'll get both some various spacings without confusing the player.

Also, 00:16:525 (2,3,4) - i would suggest moving the (4) note out of the stack, cause right now its too cluttersome. something like this would work great imo.
