Let's improve some hitsounds on easier diffs before we go again. Right now the hitsounds are nothing but a copy&paste from Insane diff, which caused a huge lack of hitsounds on some parts.

In case of the kiai on Easy diff, you can only rarely hear loud claps on very few spots, while the most of the clickable objects hold no additional hitsounds at all. It would be much better if you altered the hitsound pattern to fit the actual notes in this diff.

I won't point out every single places that need improvement, but I'll give some brief opinions from other BNs (thanks Bonsai and Wafu)







So take a deep look on the easier diffs and try to create a proper hitsound indication for that specific difficulty, then call me back and I'll write a proper mod. I'll need to mod hitsound later anyway, so would be better to mod this once you're done with fixing overall hitsounds.

well did my best fixed hitsound of each difficulty lot of change and added more hitsounds on lower difficulties also added drum samplesets on whistles and claps so they become more audible! updated. thank u guys!

Alright, now Easy and Normal seems good!

I heard from Sonnyc that 1x1 sb image causes some error on fallback version, so you can check p/5815836 this post to fix it. He also said changing it to 2x2 would be another solution.

[Hard]
* 00:02:745 (2) - This seemed like a bit of random 1/2. I mean you stick to the vocals pretty much on the whole intro but this one is out of place. You didn't put it on 00:01:124 - 00:04:367 - etc.
* 00:17:137 (2,3) - These are the only extended-vocal-1/2 sliders in the whole part. Imo it would be more consistent to use a 1/1 slider or a 1/1 reverse slider instead.
* 00:18:353 (1,2) - They look really unbalanced, because you see, those sliders are not exact vertical; (1) is facing a little downward. So move (2) a bit down, or re-balance both sliders to be exactly horizontal.
* From 00:29:339 - to 00:39:391 - . This part is the hardest of the whole map, even though the song is mush less intense than the kiai. Just delete the notes between these and the SR is 2.89. When you delete the whole kiai, it's only 3.21. This is quite opposite than how the song's intensity is.
So I think you need to remove some unimportant notes and use more sliders instead of circles. Like you can consider to remove 00:32:323 (2) - 00:33:579 (2) - , change 00:34:993 (3,4,5) - into a 1/2 reverse slider, bind 00:36:564 (5,6) - 00:37:663 (4,5) - into a 1/2 slider. Wow, only that already decreases SR to 3.04.
Then you would want to make the kiai a bit harder, as it's too easy as the highlight part.
* I feel the kiai can have better rhythm than it has now. It's not bad, but it can be a little more detailed.

For example, 00:49:443 (1,2,3,4) - is generally a vocal-following rhythm, however it ignores 00:50:229 - this drumbeat and instead has a note on 00:49:914 (2) - this weak beat. On the other hand 00:50:700 (1,2,3,4) - is full of 1/2s, and I kinda feel it a bit random instead of following a certain sound layer correctly.
So instead of that you can try https://puu.sh/udgaK/b1bc4cef23.jpg to represent all important sounds more efficiently.

This almost repeats for the entire kiai and I made a rhythm sample for you to understand better. https://puu.sh/udhlS/f37fb3f5dc.osu This should provide enough difficulty on the kiai as well.

Your rhythm on the kiai is weird because you're changing your focus so randomly. This is clearly seen on how you handled 00:50:543 - this kind of drumbeats. Your focus is not on that beat but instead 00:50:700 - this vocal, but on 01:10:647 - , which is 95% similar, you almost neglected the vocal and focused on the drumbeat. Things like 01:03:108 (1) - should rather be good to use circle + 1/2 slider because both sounds have vocal, still you used a 1/2 slider to weaken 01:03:265 - this beat.

So here is a list of the parts that have this problem (strong drum on red tick but strong vocal on white tick)
red tick: 00:53:056 - 00:58:082 - 01:00:595 - 01:03:108 - 01:10:647 - 01:15:674 - 01:18:187 -

They make me wonder if you really want to follow that drum sound, because the map mostly is focused on the vocals but you switch between them so randomly. For another example, 01:03:893 (4,5) - look how these are focused on the vocals while you just neglected (I consider sliderend as neglecting when the map is full of jumps) 01:03:265 - this loud vocal sound.

Also some other things I don't agree:
* 01:22:428 (1,2,1,2,1,2) - I totally disagree with representing 1/1-strong sounds like this. Each beat of notes are supposed to represent sound(s) on that specific beat, not something around it. Therefore putting jumps on every 1/2s while the sound is only strong at 1/1s is inappropriate imo. Also, why 01:22:113 (6) - is being alone while it is a part of the vocal 'group' with 01:22:428 (1,2,1,2,1,2) - ?
* 00:50:386 (5) - 00:55:412 (5) - 01:02:951 (5) - 01:15:517 (5) - etc. They are just being a part of the massive jumps. However, the song isn't constructed with monotone drums. The drum on 00:50:386 - is a lot different than others and that is what creates the unique drum patterns in this song. I'm sad to see them being represented like a simple common drum patterns.
* 00:56:354 (3,4,5) - They're quite intense but the scale is too little?

And to be honest, the structure of the kiai is a bit messy. It's not too bad, but I decided to be more strict to myself.



So sorry Lilyanna, I think you have to find someone else. You can call Azusa too.

  1. 00:20:786 (2) - just for better rhythm, circle? It doesn't seem like there's any important beat on 00:21:191 - , not that requires a click at least
  2. 00:12:678 (6) - in the whole intro (the slow BPM) this is the only strange slider shape, and by strange I mean sort of ugly.
    Isn't there a better option?
  3. 00:23:826 (2) - the whole pattern would benefit without this circle. You're following vocals, yet this circle is just a pain for vocals
  4. 00:30:595 (1,2) - well, I have a natural hate towards this pattern, and I mean the concept of this pattern.
    It flows in a really forced way and distorts emphasis imo. Anyway, reason aside, why don't you try moving 1 at x30 y231? It looks cleaner too and your original flow is sort of kept, just made a little easier
  5. 00:39:077 (1,1,2) - please enable stacking into editor already, zzz. That 2 is a bit ugly overlapped like that
  6. 00:44:731 (2,3,4,1,2) - I can understand the giant curve these form, but then... 00:46:302 (3,4) - what does this mean or form?
    Maybe apply the same concept you applied for that giant curve too, like this?
  7. 01:22:428 (1,2,1,2,1,2) - I can't really hear any instrument enforcing a strong beat every 1/1 tho. If you followed vocal I have to tell you that they aren't strong enough to warrant such technique.

  1. 00:20:786 (3) - seeing the whole map, I know this is not our style, but using a Ctrl G on this would really help improve flow
  2. 00:30:595 (1) - rhythm is a bit... umh... idk, not so good. What about something like this to add more focus on vocals (since you started this section on vocals)
  3. 00:35:935 (2) - I'd suggest to place just a circle here too, for the same reason ^.
    You tend to use too much of a constant 1/2 rhythm. Put some breaks in that and you'll notice how the map gains more color and depth.
    It's called "contrast" and it is a technique used to direct the player's focus on the main instrument instead of diluting his attention on the constant 1/2 rhythm.
  4. 00:54:155 (4) - same ^
  5. 00:56:197 - maybe delete to add that contrast I mentioned above ^
  6. 01:05:150 (3) - A Ctrl G would fit, but in that case the flow between 01:05:150 (3,4,1) - becomes a bit poor so idk..
    Maybe you can find a solution
  7. 01:16:302 (3) - delete to keep consistency with the other one I suggested to delete already (either keep both or remove both)

    By using just one circle you actually cover the whole sound instead of adding a misleading beat at 00:09:029 -

  1. 00:20:786 (3) - seeing the whole map, I know this is not our style, but using a Ctrl G on this would really help improve flow

    You tend to use too much of a constant 1/2 rhythm. Put some breaks in that and you'll notice how the map gains more color and depth.
    It's called "contrast" and it is a technique used to direct the player's focus on the main instrument instead of diluting his attention on the constant 1/2 rhythm.

The pattern you have with a circle stacked on the slider tail is a one-time thing too, which seems a bit random to me.
If you were going to use it as a characteristic of your map you should have used it more imo.

It is true it is copy pasta but the way you place them is disorganized. The whole stream part is similar, so I was expecting a similar concept for all those repeat sliders. The fact you use such different angle and placement for just those two makes it strange because it means you're trying to reflect a difference in the song (a difference that when I try searching, I can'd find)

well this is were i give up i guess gj u did it, i really tried everything all i get is weird excuses u guys demotivated me to even map in general i guess i quit untill i can try again when things really changes, but now its not fun anymore its not even worth to try this harder in such community , idk what i am mapping for anymore.

btw @ezek please some mappers rank something and they themselves can't even play or pass!

You don't have to give up just for that~ In some of my maps I had to wait extra months or even years to find someone who wants to nominate~ Just don't let the map on the graveyard and you'll find someone eventually~
And I know some mappers get their sets ranked when they can't even pass them, but because of the BNG rules, I am not allowed to nominate a set if I can't pass all the diffs because according to the rules, I cannot judge something I can't pass. So it's not up to me, don't take it personal~

the map generally feels fine but I'm quite fed up with the hitsounding in the kiai tbh. I can see that you have made the hitsounds consistent in a way, but it's not matching with the music and it really doesn't sound that nice.
since the rhythm is sticked to 1/1 in this Easy, all you need to do is to use soft whistle on the 1st and 3rd white tick of every stanza like 00:49:443 - and 00:50:071 -
, while using soft clap for the 2nd and 4th white tick of every stanza instead, like 00:49:757 - and 00:50:386 - . in this way, your hitsounds can match with the music more accurately.
take some examples of what you need to fix:
00:49:443 (1) - soft whistle instead of clap at its end
00:50:700 (2) - ^
00:50:386 (2,1) - ^
00:54:469 (1) - soft whistle at the reversing point instead
00:56:354 (2) - soft whistle instead of clap
00:56:668 (1) - soft clap instead of whistle for both its head and end
