In the map, streams have long combo's while the note patterns and "jumps" have very short ones. This is to help emphasize the 1/2 more saying there is almost NONE of it in this map.

Why I alternated with kicksliders and reverse ones.

The motion of the pen is changed to the opposite swooping motion which isn't as promonent as say a shart turn, but it does the job.

Makes the impact orgasmic. Also, there's no problem with waiting for a second or two longer, your HP isn't going to go down.

I might change it, but for now this plays better and sounds better on full speed

Also, the slowing down helps emphasize the large drum hits for an orgasmic effect.

Also, the note you wanted me to turn into sliders would be a bad idea imo because the guitar is going up in pitch, so I increase the spacing. It would be akward and out of place if I incresed the SV to creat the same effect.
  21. 02:38:143 (3,1,2,1,2) - kinda feels disconnect atm since its all 3 the same sound in the music, also rythm is kinda bad here repitiition like earlier works better with the song like 02:38:383 (1,2,1,2) - first 2 guitars are clickable, next 2 only 1 guitar is clickable while the song is in repeat here. So yeah better pattern diversity instead of rythm diversity Changed it up a bit

Also, the sliders are there because that's where the break in the music is. I don't want to break the stream up into a mess.

  1. Main problem i have with this map is there isn't much of a differentiation between some sections, like 01:24:209 (1) - this section here only has double kicks whereas the first kiai has the blazing solo with more rhythm variety.
    - What I suggest you do in the first kiai is focus on the guitar rhythm, like:
    + 00:18:716 (1,2,3,4) - this being a reverse slider .
    + 00:10:076 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - this stream could follow the pitch of the guitar a bit better
    + 00:13:916 (1,2,3) - being 1 reverse slider and 00:14:396 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - being 2 reverse slider.

The reason why I recommend you to follow the guitar is because that is what makes it stands out from 02:40:049 (1) - drum-heavy/rhythm guitar heavy sections like this. I reflect the guitar a LOT in the map with spacing changes. Just because it's guitar doesn't mean I have to put a kickslider there.
  2. 03:12:703 (1) - spacing too big for doublekicks (this is a global issue imo, check other places where you map exclusively for doublekicks). Large spacing for doublekicks -> less emphasis for other instruments. Example would be 03:40:783 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - this. Snare would have a lot more emphasis if the doublekicks had less spacing. Just because it's double bass doesn't mean it has to be compact. The spacing is fine.
  3. 03:07:409 (1,2,3,4) - guitar is very ambiguous here, don't think it should be snapped to 1/3 though, seems like more sounds 03:07:409 (1,2,3) - here than 1/3. You could map it 1/4 with large spacing for this bit imo. The reason it sounds faster is because guitarists can't play on a metronome as well as say a drummer. It sounds off and would be 100% unplayable if I mapped it to each string. That being said, the overall rhythm of teh guitar here is in fact 1/3.

I'm kinda amazed I haven't modded this considering that we've done IRC a couple times now, so I'm doing it live, have fun.

NEVERENDING FALL

00:17:756 - This spacing is uncalled for, earlier you used this spacing because of the high pitch of the guitar which is fair, but while there is a pitch increase here it's nowhere near the level it was when you last used this kind of stream spacing, as it stands you've already divided your map 17 seconds in.

00:18:716 - There is a big drum hit here so I can get behind the direction shift, but spacing wise this stream should not change here, the pitch and volume of the guitar are consistent.

00:19:676 - This is the same issue, you've got your direction shifts on track but the spacing is almost arbitrary.

00:25:436 - And this is opposite, by the logic for spacing you created with the intro, this segment should have decently high spacing, but right now it's almost a stack with close to no spacing, it's got a heavy pitch increase and the guitar becomes dominant over the drum track, yet you've pretty much mapped the drums.

00:32:156 - I get that the rotation changes here, but you've had a sharp turn on literally every powerful kick until now, and here you keep it smooth, normally wouldn't be a problem, but literally EVERY kick before this one has had a sharp angle.

00:36:956 - I guess you're changing that pattern now since there's another one here, I still think it's really inconsistent but w/e

00:53:516 - for consistency this should be blanketed around the head of 2.

01:57:089 (1) - Something about this entire stream is just very messy looking, you may want to consider reshaping this part since it just doesn't have any clear shape like your previous streams all had.

02:00:689 (1,2,3,1,2,3) - Why are these separated, every other triple has been noticeably separated in the music, but there isn't anything here, this should just be a 7 stack onto a 1/4 slider, doing that would let you transition back to your same style of triplet very cleanly without causing weird inaccuracy.

02:17:369 (1,2) - I can't help but feel this jump is really awkwardly placed, it'd make more sense you lean it over but keep it mostly vertical to keep with your theme of ping pong jumps, maybe stacking it over the head of slider 2 would work well.

03:05:609 (5) - This is weird, just move 5 up to the top left corner, it'd make so much more sense in relation to the structure of the map so far, plus I actually think increasing the spacing would make this feel more comfortable than weirdly stopping most cursor motion.

THIS APPLIES TO THIS ENTIRE SECTION
03:12:703 (1) - This stream just ignoring the dominant bass is weird, especially since this is the part of the song that accentuates it the most, I think you would have a significantly better time if you had a 1/4 kick and a jump to the next segment at each of these kicks.

03:17:983 (4) - Move this slider a tiny bit up, the tail is slightly overlapping with the 2 circle below it.

03:19:903 (1,2,3,4) - I can't help but feel like these should be two sliders instead of four circles :/

04:31:423 (1) - This transition is pretty ugly looking, you could either shift the second part of the stream down entirely so that the stack leads directly into the first note, or you could pull it up and to the left making a bit of a snap between the sections of this stream part, your choice.

04:40:063 (1,2,3) - Why is the spacing suddenly so small? Earlier you've had several instances of this exact pattern and it's never had small spacing before, this is especially strange coming out of the heaviest streams in the entire map.


I will give you big props for one thing about this map, you are one of the only people I've ever seen handle the transition between 1/3 and 1/4 streams well. I think large amounts of this map are well done, but I mentioned a handful of pretty glaring inconsistencies and oddities that're holding the map back and making it impossible to justify a lot of how you mapped the song, by making things consistent you'll find it much easier to identify how it should be mapped and you'll be able to accurately judge when something needs a change or when it works and helps your ideas flourish. Either way you've been trying for a long time, hope this helps, GL with this set.
