V.10: So after a very strong and harsh mod from Emilia I have decided to start over. No longer do I want mods on my old diff but now I need them on my new diff. I'm only 2 minutes in with this map but it is already marginally better than my other difficulty.

  2. Maybe increase a bit the slider velocity. A 7* need to be fast enough to be hard to pass.

It destroy the power of this pattern.Players become use to it and pass easily the laters spaced streams. And there is musical support for this. You should keep this kind of pattern for the end of the music or for really powerfull part of the song.

  2. 01:23:465 (9) - Maybe NC here.

  4. 04:08:738 (1) - Is there really a need to put a spaced stream here? It doesn't sound that much different from all the riffs.
  5. 07:52:113 - Somewhere over here in this drum section may be the best place for a spaced stream as it is the finale.

New mapper mod from my queue

[General]
  1. The blue combo color 00:05:465 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11) – mixed with all this vivid colors doesn’t look good at all. I mean, if you’re to actually use it in a more specific way, to map different parts of the map I would have no problem, but it’s just the color you choose. https://puu.sh/ucy2C.png

  1. This is heavily undermapped 00:09:829 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,1,2,3) - . I believe that it’s a good thing this is not a deathstream right at the start of the map, but at the same time, not mapping any 1/4 at all feels of with the song. You can increase the tapping intensity here with 1-8 streams at a constant rhythm and it still work great as an introduction to the map.
  2. This entire intro 00:01:102 - ~ 00:07:647 – could be splitted into four different phrases that could be mapped very similar and consistent;
    00:01:102 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10) -
    00:03:283 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10) -
    00:05:465 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11) -
    00:06:556 (1,2,3) -
    The forth one is totally breaking the consistency here.
  3. In various spots of your map you do overlaps. I’ll list some examples; 00:05:806 (6,1,3) -; 00:07:920 (5,10) - ; 00:10:102 (3,6) - - ; 00:10:374 (5,8) - ; 00:10:920 (7,11) -; 00:11:465 (11,1) - ; 00:11:192 (9,12,2) - . The reason I’m mentioning this is because at some other spots you actually have stacked 00:24:829 (8,2,3,4) -; 00:29:465 (1,3,1,2) - .That makes the diff have randomly placed objects. My point here is that you have to choose specific parts of the song to use each of this, to make it consistent and not random. Of couse, really close objects on the timeline should not overlap at all 00:31:647 (1,2) - , because it makes it hard to read without reason.
  4. Whenever you want to create a rhythm, make sure it’s clear to players what you’re doing and don’t mix too much rhythm choices in a small amout of time. Here 01:08:738 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) – you’re following the idea of an organic 1/2 beat gap rhythm that’s really common and considered the most intuitive way of creating rhythm. But right next to it you use a melodic rhythm 01:10:920 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) – which contains a lot of different gaps from 1/2 to 1/1 in various places, often seen in older maps, which makes sightreading an issue most of the time. Both of this rhythm ideas fits into the mapping of osu! , but you need to use them with a clear planning based on the song structure. My advice is that since you’re mapping an extra with such a huge amount of difficulty, always try to keep the rhythm at 1/2 density, unless the song gets really calm and 1/2 becomes overmap, like you did here for example 00:04:374 (1,2,3,4) – a correct 1/1 gap here for the emphasis on the melody, correctly mapped :)
  5. Another important thing is to always pay attention to the inherented points when you change timing, they won’t automatically follow new offset, bpm, etc. That’s why some of your inherented points are not on snap, for example, this inherented 01:24:298 – should be on 01:24:283 – instead.
  6. Good thing that you’re already using some interesting blanket concepts 01:24:556 (2,4) - . Just make sure that they look the best as possible and don’t let them overlap the sliderends when you’re doing this types of blankets.
  7. Interesting 01:47:192 (1,2) - . You are trying to make a pattern here that will follow vocal by using 3/4 sliders.   8. Another tip, always save the spaced streams for the MOST intense parts of the music, don’t over use it on parts that are not strong at all like this 02:15:420 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11) - . Mostly because you will will make a not so important part of the music hard, while other strong and emphatic ones will not be as hard and interesting; 05:21:283 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13) -
As it’s mentioned on my queue, I will not get into full details of the map itself, but mostly give you this general feedback and tips. Hopefully you will find them helpful in order for you to improve your maps even more. Good luck with your mapping :D

Won't really mod this since I can't really mod stuff this hard, but I'll give you some very general feedback;

- Avoid overlapping things so much

for example, 00:01:647 (9,10,11) - is just a mess because everyone's on top of each other, space it out like 00:03:829 (9,10) - is. Overlapping in the wrong spots can really make a map look ugly.
00:10:920 (7,8,11) - here, its not necessarily the overlap with 7 and 11, but the fact that 11 and 8 are so close to overlapping that it looks bad
00:13:783 (11,1) -
00:24:556 (6,8) -

Stuff like this make the map look ugly.

- Rhythm needs a lot of work

The sections that aren't streams don't really make sense, for example 00:25:238 (2,3,4) - this triplet is mapped, but the sound at 00:25:715 - is not mapped
00:26:874 (5) - is 3 claps, but it is mapped with less intensity than 00:26:465 (2,3,4) - because it's a slider and those 3 are big jumps

I really recommend learning the basics of mapping with an easier map before you try something this hard, because the way the map is it's never going to be ranked without a remap, it needs a lot of work in pretty much all aspects of mapping. If you want to learn through a map like that, I suppose you can do that, but it might be hard. You need a lot of skill to map a song like this at this difficulty.

  3. 00:04:374 (1,2,3,4) - similarly, why not make these sliders?
  4. 00:06:556 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - not sure what youre emphasising here. there are more drums than you mapped, the guitars arent represented well?
  5. 00:08:738 (8) - not gonna nc this?
  6. 00:09:147 (9,10,11) - again, what are you emphasising in this portion? nothing about your hitcircles represent anything that stick out in the song particularly
  7. 00:11:670 (4,5,6) - 00:12:488 (16,1,2) - whats here that justified the sharp turn of stream shape?

    i think theres no need to continue really. everything i've pointed out have been relentlessly repeated through your whole map. basically a lot of confusing rhythmic choices, messed up emphases and unrefined patterns that i can't really agree with. i think you can follow some of my examples to rework your whole map.
