First Touhou map! I like the electronic style of False&Trues, and enjoyed the other ranked songs so decided to find a nice, unmapped one to work on. I was considering Lunatic Eyes because it was in English but it felt too repetitive. I ended up choosing this one over Speed My Way, though I might end up trying to map that one too.

Right now this is version cut to slightly over 2 minutes. Does anyone think I should try to go for a full version instead? (It'd probably involve a bit of copy+pasting)

Let's see... a sideboard would be nice. Anyone want to make one for me :P? I don't plan on having a difficulty past Hard, though.

Current Progress:
Hard 100%. No hitsounds yet.
Easy 0%. Just a BG+combocolors.
Mduh's Taiko 100%.

History:
6/8/11: Hard 60% done.
6/10/11: Hard 75% done.
6/11/11: Hard 90% done. (Suddenly ran out of creative juice near the end).
6/17/11: Full submit; Mduh's Taiko and BG uploaded. Hard's still not done or modded... sorry.
7/10/11: Took a long time thanks to schedule slippage, but remaining 10% of hard is finished.

Well, you got so many unsnapped notes.
You should resnap all of them.

00:24:328 (4) - move this to 00:24:214 and end it at 00:24:668.
00:26:146 (5) - move to 00:26:032 and end it at 00:26:487.
00:26:714 (x) - probably add a note here?
00:33:987 (x) - add a note?
00:37:396 (4,5,6) - their shape seems weird to me, make it linear(just like other notes you did) ?
00:39:668 (7) - maybe a new combo here?
00:40:691 (11) - move this to 00:40:578 and add a note at 00:41:032 -
02:08:987 - add some notes on this part.
02:12:623 - probably add some notes right here too.

Glad you like the song and map! False&Trues must be my favorite Touhou artist. I'm not looking for a guest diff at this time, unfortunately, unless it's Taiko.

Sorry sorry sorry for not updating this in some time. Some of you also asked for mods on my queue- I haven't forgotten, but right now I'm kind of busy programming. Your mods haven't been implemented yet, either... I'll edit them into this post when I have time.

Oh, and thanks MDuh for the taiko diff!

Your hp drain is too high for an easy diff. It should be 2 or 3 maybe.

Also you should end this diff at 02:19:441

I don't like trance so will try to mod this map instead. Mod will be mostly general since this isn't finish. Doing this for higher priority on your modding queue. Can't mod taiko.

[General]
- Delete .osb since you don't have a storyboard and full resubmit.
- patchouli knowledge 2.jpg, may be a little low quality, if possible find a higher quality one. Doesn't really bother me if you can't find a better one through
- patchouli knowledge.png, you can save some space by compressing it to jpg.
- Hard have quite a high star rating. how about 6 hp drain and 6 overall difficulty.
- Normal will definite be needed for difficulty spread.
- I feel slider velocity is too low, so suggestion 1.0 is fine for [Easy] 1.2/1.3 for [Normal] 1.5/1.6 for [Hard] and 1.8-2.0 / for [Insane]
- Mapping with 1.1 distant snapping is a little odd, higher slider velocity and 1.0 distant snapping works better i think.
- If you want to use normal hitsound, i recommend even lower volume, 30-40%. Still too loud even at 60%

[Easy]
Don't really like the sliders at the beginning at all. The end have a stream which is a no for Easy and no kiai time set here. Not much else to say since this isn't finish. Hp drain / ar / od may be better on 3.

[Hard]
01:02:850 (6) 1 grid up looks better imo
Already feel quite polish and feel pretty interesting for a Hard. I just want a little faster slider velocity and it'd be perfect and hitsound as well. Play around with the volume for different timing section as well, will be boring to have 30% or 40% volume the whole way through the song.

[Insane]
00:02:169 (3,4) Why not just one long slider, even if it's an Insane, no need to put extra notes.
00:13:987 (x) Doesn't look good stacked, but can't really judge since map is not finish.
Not much to say since this isn't finished.

Pretty solid mapping for this type of song. Hard flows quite nicely. Even through i don't normally star WIP map since i will recheck them later, i feel you deserve it so starred!

    00:37:396 (4,5,6) - if you follow the patterns before, these three notes should start at 00:37:055 (3) -... idk, it just felt weird when i was playing
    01:42:169 (7) - if you're following the rhthym behind(i mean the non-vocal part) this should be a single note, and then slider? follow the previous pattern
    02:08:305 (5,6,7) - same as 00:37:396 (4,5,6)

[General]:
  1. Offset 1268. (+8) It's kinda early (even for me). I used 1268 to mod.
[Hard]:
  1. I am also a fan of tickrate 1, but maybe try tickrate 2? Since you have lots of sliders and there is a musical background happening every 1/2, why not. :p
  2. I highly recommend OD6 at most for this diff/map. It's kinda too slow for such high OD, unless you really hate people who SS. (unless you're planning on keeping this as your max diff, OD7 is good in that case, and I really don't recommend OD8 for the insane for this kind of bpm)
  3. 00:30:131 (8,1) - In the background of the music you can hear percussion on which you could place a finish. Placing a finish on both might not sound that good, it does fit though. Placing it only on 8 will mess up with the player's rhythm, and placing it on 1 sounds fine. Try either both finishes or only on 1. Or maybe swap to a soft hitfinish for the 8 and swap back to normal hitfinish for 1. I see you didn't add any hitsounds yet, so I won't tell you where to place them yet.
  4. 01:02:858 (6,1) - ^
  5. 00:44:904 - Add a note here and start the spinner right after it? (If you reviewed my reply to your mod post, you would know the reason hehe). Also add a finish on it.
  6. 00:46:722 - End the kiai here. After the spinner you will see the next notes and they will be flashing. Doesn't change anything in the gameplay, but it looks nicer atleast. (or even better, if you added the note like I told you, end it at 00:44:904 instead. Kiai in combination with spinners just make me cry :D )
  7. 01:13:086 (9) - Move this slider to 01:12:858 and map a note at 01:13:540? Sounds much better.
  8. 01:45:813 (2) - ctrl+r this slider? Plays better.
  9. 02:15:813 - Add a note and start the spinner after it? Also finish on it. Same reason as stuff above.
[MDuh's Taiko]:
  1. Not that it matters too much, some useless timing sections everywhere. You could clean it up a little.
