It's perfectly fine, naraku. ^^ We didn't need one anyway. xD

hihi~ :)
just some suggestions:

[General]
imo you need a slidertick.wav. for some sliders, for example, 00:21:425(1) in easy diff, the hitsound is weird for me.
also i'm guessing the normal clap do not fit the song at all, maybe you would like to find another one?
and, for all diffs, how about to make a kiai burst at 02:29:265?

[Easy]
01:13:931(3) - normal finish?
01:51:027(2) - new combo? if you change it then do forget to remove new combo from the next note.
02:10:431(4) - same as 01:13:931(3).
02:19:563(1) - the sound volume is too loud...
02:24:699(1) - starts at 02:24:414?
02:42:962(1) - starts at 02:42:677?
02:48:099(3) - same as 01:51:027(2).
03:06:361(1) - starts at 03:05:933?

[Normal]
01:03:087(x) - add a note with clap?
01:13:931(4) - normal finish?
02:06:722(6) - weird...move it to 02:07:007?
02:09:861(2) - same as 01:13:931(4).
02:19:563(1) - the sound volume is too loud...
02:22:987(x) - add a note with clap?
02:41:250(x) - add a note with clap?
02:42:391(x) - ^
03:06:361(1) - starts at 03:05:933?

[Hard]
00:55:240(4,5,6) - decrease the sound volume.
00:57:237(4) - i guess a slider here and ends on 00:57:380. if you change it then do forget to add clap on the end of the slider.
01:13:931(4) - normal finish?
01:50:028(4,5,6) - same as 00:55:240(4,5,6).
02:10:003(4) - clap on the beginning of the slider.
02:11:002(5) - same as 01:13:931(4).
02:19:563(3) - the sound volume is too loud...
03:06:361(1) - starts at 03:05:933?

[Naraku's Insane]
why different offset from other 3 diffs?
00:59:221(3) - clap on the beginning of the slider.
01:08:352(3) - ^
01:13:346(3) - normal finish?
01:42:881(4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3) - only whistle here? imo they need more clap.
02:03:141(3) - clap on the beginning of the slider.
02:10:989(3) - same as 01:13:346(3).
02:19:692(2,3,4) - the sound volume is too loud...
02:43:233(1) - starts at 02:43:091?
03:06:347(1) - starts at 03:05:919?

good luck!

00:59:221(3) - clap on the beginning of the slider.Alright, sounds fine.
01:08:352(3) - ^
01:13:346(3) - normal finish? No, this is fine with a clap.
01:42:881(4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3) - only whistle here? imo they need more clap. Wtf? No, never. Whistles give this the flow it needs.
02:03:141(3) - clap on the beginning of the slider. As before, ok. Good thing you didn't forget to mention this.
02:10:989(3) - same as 01:13:346(3). Err... Why would I? I did this in the end of the last kiai so for consistency alone, this is fine.
02:19:692(2,3,4) - the sound volume is too loud... No, it's not. I wanted to emphasize using, precisely, something loud.
02:43:233(1) - starts at 02:43:091? Well, I guess it won't hurt to apply this
03:06:347(1) - starts at 03:05:919? 03:06:076 sounds better to me.
Ok, here you go!

Hello.

[General]
offset seems to be late, i'm not pr0 but something around -10ms i guess. anyway, check again.

[Naraku's insane]
00:22:139 (4,1,2,3,4) - are you following lyrics here? i don't see why you need (2) here.
00:29:130 (2,3,4) - make it a pattern like this http://puu.sh/2Xt9?
00:32:126 - nothing here, but there's a word swings  there.
are you following lyrics before and then changing to harmonics to make a good-looking pattern?
01:44:607 (1,4) - claps at these? if yes, remove finish at (4)
02:10:717 (2) - why clap here? try without it.
02:19:563 (1,2,3,4) - i'd add some inheriting sections to play with volume of each circle here.
03:03:793 (1,2,3) - this looks like a smile D:

[Hard]
00:34:266 (2) - change like this http://puu.sh/2XwE?
02:09:575 (3,4) - why not make these two with claps like previous similar sliders and remove clap from 02:10:431 (1)?
03:06:076 (1) - make the end of it with 10% volume?

[Normal]
this diff has some nazi-1-grid-off circles, like 00:35:122 (7,8,9) but i don't like to nazi,
so look through the diff yourself if you want and fix them only if you think it's needed.

01:48:744 (4) - finish here and also finish at start of 01:49:315 (5)?

Loved this song at some point of my life. Nice to hear it again.

  1. Using black slider border is not a goo idea in the way that they can be hidden by the background like that :
Easy
  1. Would not it be fluider with AR 3?
  2. 00:17:991 (1) - This slider doen't start on a good spot, it feels late, start it 1/2 earlier ?
  3. 03:06:351 (1) - Why don't you start this slider 1/2 earlier like the other difficulties ?
Naraku's Insane
  1. This difficulty doesn't have the same preview point as the other difficultues, via notepad, change the preview point to 54241ms
  2. This difficulty has 408 unsnapped objects. It's noticeable even without the AImod
  3. 00:27:703 (3,4) - These circles are too much offscreen and (4) is hided by the lifebar
  4. 00:33:838 (4,6,1) - Offscreen too, even if it's less than the previous circles. But avoid object who are out the playfield, it's not fun to play, especially at the top border because of the lifebar. and If 50% of a circle is out of the playfield, it's unrankable.
  5. 00:41:828 (1) - This small jump is not appropriate, it is more confusing than anything else
  6. 00:42:970 (3) - This one too. Flip horizontally (3) and (4) to fix
  7. 01:02:231 (4) - TOO much out from the playfield and more than 1/4 of the circle is hidden by the lifebar
  8. 01:52:454 (5,6) - Offscreen again >.<
  9. 02:10:717 (2) - Again
Mmh... That's all I guess

I don't star till some unrankable issues are fixed.

00:22:139 (4,1,2,3,4) - are you following lyrics here? i don't see why you need (2) here. I don't see why not. The point here is giving continuity to the action, so that the absence of (2) doesn't break the flow.
00:29:130 (2,3,4) - make it a pattern like this http://puu.sh/2Xt9? I actually did that pattern based on the mini jump, which I like a lot, so I'll keep it for now :)
00:32:126 - nothing here, but there's a word swings  there.
are you following lyrics before and then changing to harmonics to make a good-looking pattern? Yes, I am :D Also, when "swings" ends, the slider takes the form of the trail of a swinging pendulum >w<
01:44:607 (1,4) - claps at these? if yes, remove finish at (4) Added the clap at (1), cince it sounds cool. However, I kept the finish at (4)
02:10:717 (2) - why clap here? try without it. Yes, it sounds better indeed
02:19:563 (1,2,3,4) - i'd add some inheriting sections to play with volume of each circle here. Sure! Sounds good :D
03:03:793 (1,2,3) - this looks like a smile D: LOLOLOL subliminal message
And as for Kurai's mod:

  1. This difficulty doesn't have the same preview point as the other difficultues, via notepad, change the preview point to 54241ms No need for the notepad~
  2. This difficulty has 408 unsnapped objects. It's noticeable even without the AImod And I don't really care xD Not everything has to be snapped, and I placed EVERYTHING thinking about how it would flow, so will keep my spacing for now.
  3. 00:27:703 (3,4) - These circles are too much offscreen and (4) is hided by the lifebar None of those are offscreen - being offscreen in the editor doesn't mean it's offscreen while playing -, and I really don't mind having (4) a little overlapped by the bar (it's not unrakable or anything)
  4. 00:33:838 (4,6,1) - Offscreen too, even if it's less than the previous circles. But avoid object who are out the playfield, it's not fun to play, especially at the top border because of the lifebar. and If 50% of a circle is out of the playfield, it's unrankable. AGAIN, none of those are offscreen, and this is how (1) looks, NOT being overlapped by the bar.
  5. 00:41:828 (1) - This small jump is not appropriate, it is more confusing than anything else I don't agree, but I'll keep this in mind, and change it if more people complain :)
  6. 00:42:970 (3) - This one too. Flip horizontally (3) and (4) to fix Mmm, no, because if I did, the jump between (3) and (4) would make even less sense.
  7. 01:02:231 (4) - TOO much out from the playfield and more than 1/4 of the circle is hidden by the lifebar WAIT do you use a custom skin? That might be the problem, it's almost not overlapped with the default skin (the one I use). Maybe it would be a good idea to force the default lifebar...
  8. 01:52:454 (5,6) - Offscreen again >.< What I said before D:
  9. 02:10:717 (2) - Again Again

Everything has to be correctly snapped, maybe you have misunderstood me.

Rules wrote:

Your map must be perfectly timed. This means that your BPM and offset are spot-on, sliders end when they should, notes are generally following a recognizable rhythm (such as the lyrics or drums) which is comprehensible by a player, and that there are no unsnapped notes (you can check this by running AIMod (shortcut ctrl+shift+a) in the editor).
It was surely due to an offset change and the objects were not correctly replaced on their ticks.
Anyhow, it has been fixed so ~

When I say a circle is offscreen, I mean that it is too close from one border. It's just that I reall hate when objects are too close from the lifebar or from a border. But maybe it's just me ;__;. And yes I use a custom lifeberbar. But I tought It was smaller than the default one, but I was wrong I will use the default lifebar now and I will surely not mod offscreen objects like that anymore even if I don't like them ...
Thanks ^_^"

As all objects are correctly snapped now, I guess I can star~

And about the bar, you don't need to mod with the default one - in fact, it's better if you don't. If the mapper has done everything so that it fits perfectly well with the default skin but hasn't forced the default bar on the map, then it's something you can mention on your mod :P

Sorry for that misunderstanding >_<

Hi! Let's go ~

General;
- Try these colors please ~
Combo1 : 79,113,112
Combo2 : 169,24,24
Combo3 : 102,73,114
SliderBorder : 255,255,255
and yes, slider border white please, because it looks kinda ugly without a custom gray hitcircle overlay ):

Skin;
- Purple doesn't look to great there, I recommend this red, yes I'm picky like that (:
http://puu.sh/40Zq

Easy;
- 00:55:658 >> New combo for emphasis on chorus! then remove new combo on next slider
- 00:58:512 >> Remove new combo ?

Normal;
- 00:21:415 (1~7) >> Might be hard ;/
- 01:12:209 (3) >> Sounds better here imo
- 01:23:623 (1~7) >> Might be hard ;~;
- 02:05:285 (1~7) >> ^
- 02:47:518 >> New combo for emphasis! or not ?
- 002:56:079 (2,3,4) >> Mix into a slider ?
- 03:04:069 >> Move (2) here ?

Hard;
- 02:00:862 >> Start the slider here instead ?
- 02:37:388 >> Add note ?

Naraku's Insane;
- 00:32:554 >> End here ?
- 00:32:839 >> Add a note

- 03:02:224 >> Add note ?
- 03:03:793 (1,2,3,4) >> Surprise! Clown face (o: !!
- 03:05:791 >> Normal finish better ?

Nice song choice...
BPM 105.140, offset 16865. Maybe not very accurate but should be fine enough.
Naraku's Insane, who is Naraku? (check tags) Add narakucrimson to tags. Also if i don't remember it wrong, it's in the album <Hybrid Theory>, so add that to tags too.
why your HP bar is so short?

I feel it's really not so good when i hear the clap pace is broke again and again in several places . If you want to use that clap you should arrange your beats partly based on it, if you miss many it sounds really not like a constant drum beat.

[Easy]
02:09:851 - i think you should start the soft hitsounds from here, could add whistle at (2)'s beginning and repeat point. remove the clap if you do so.
02:19:553 (1) - too loud
02:24:404 (1) - start 1/2 later.

[Normal]
01:12:209 - add a note here, it's important (clap)
01:23:623 (1,3) - don't forget clap at the beginning
01:46:737 & 01:47:878 - add notes if you want
02:05:285 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - the combo is a little long...?
02:09:851 (2) - same suggestion as Easy, start soft hitsounds section here.
02:54:937 - add a note
03:04:069 - add a note

[Hard]
00:32:699 (1) - the vocal is there but i think it's better to move it 1/4 later because it's the place are being expected imo.
00:34:554 - the clap miss sounds really weird.
00:52:960 - should add a note if you want to follow the vocal
01:24:778 - clap miss
01:27:060 - ^
01:32:625 - should be a note here?
01:33:196 (2,3,4) - this looks not so good, why not copy&paste (2) as a (4) and keeps the same spacing?
02:22:135 (1,2,3,4) - you could just use 4 1/2 slider here, lower the volume if you don't need the sliderend sound, but 2 & 4's end could keep your clap pace.

[Naraku's Insane]
very nice diff.
02:42:391 (3,4) - the only thing i'd like to point out is her...i don't think this 1/4 makes sense... the long "know" is obviously start from the red line... so what's this for? if just for the placement, i think you may doing in a wrong way...
well another thing @Roddie: There's several soft-sliderwhistle used in this diff but i think it's unintentional, so you may want to add a muted soft-sliderwhistle.wav file in your folder, it's easier than fixing them one by one.

I suggest to add 1x1 png images

Sorry for this! ):
narakucrimson
@Natsume: I actually didn't follow the vocals there :D If you listen to the music, you'll notice the snare sounding and then a kick, separated by 1/4. That's what I'm trying to follow there~

I kind of like the effect, but if you still insist I can see what can be done :)

May as well set the BSD to 1/2. Lol :L

00:45:398 (1) - Delete new combo?
01:53:878 - Add a note?
02:03:009 - ^
02:09:857 (1) - Delete new combo.
02:24:409 (1) - Forward 2 ticks, shorten by 2 ticks.
02:42:670 (1) - ^
02:50:374 (1) - Down 2 grids.
02:56:651 (3) - To keep consistency with the 2 kiais before, make this a slider a new combo slider that ends at 02:57:793, then add a note at 02:58:363 with a clap and add another note with a new combo at 02:58:934.
03:03:499 (1) - Delete this note you had at 03:05:782 and make this slider here end at
03:05:782. Don't forget to make it look pretty! :D
03:06:067 (1) - 2 ticks forward, 2 ticks shorter.

00:28:849 (2) - New combo?
00:30:561 (1,2,3) - Symmetry on the y axis?
00:55:099 (5) - Remove the clap.
00:59:950 (3) - Make this a single note with a clap.
01:00:521 - Slider here, end it at 01:00:806.
01:03:659 (2) - Looks ugly stacked like this, place it underneath (1).
01:07:654 (4) - Stack with the endpoint of (2)?
01:09:081 (3) - Single note with clap.
01:09:651 - Slider here, end it at the white tick.
01:11:934 (2) - Clap.
01:13:931 (4) - Make this one note louder and add the soft whistle.
01:26:486 (2,3,4 etc.) - Grr these patterns are annoying, mix a few sliders into this pattern.
01:33:334 (2,3,4 etc.) - ^
01:54:734 (3) - Single note with clap.
01:55:305 - Slider, end on white tick.
01:56:731 (3) - Remove the repeat from the slider and move it to the red tick. Place a single circle here.
02:05:291 (1,2,3 etc.) - Can you replace some of these circles with sliders please?
02:10:998 (2) - Make this one note louder, add the whistle.
02:33:825 (3) - Remove the finish.
02:40:387 (4) - Vertical flip the slider?

-Hard-

00:20:003 - Add a note.
00:31:417 (1,2) - Make these one slider? The sliders have a different amount of repeats and this can be confusing.
01:03:527 - Add a note.
01:03:659 (3) - Clap.
01:13:503 (2,3) - Delete these two notes?
01:13:931 (2) - LOUDER!!! + Whistle.

Really deserves more attention.

Everyone is "Pushing Me Away" and I've "Given Up" on "Breaking The Habit." So I will "Leave Out All The Rest" and "Runaway" to be "By Myself." I will find "Somewhere I Belong" and be "One Step Closer" to finding a "Cure For The Itch." However, I'm not "Forgotten" because I'm "With You", "Crawling" under your skin like a "Papercut." "In The End" I will find "A Place For My Head" and the "Shadow of The Day" will wipe away "What I've Done." There will be "No More Sorrow" in this "New Divide".

map is bad btw. especially hitsounds

00:54:243 (1) - Delete new combo? No, why would I remove it? xD It works perfectly with the change in the vocals!
00:57:953 (1) - Ehh this is kinda ugly.
01:07:083 (1) - ^ It does, and I redesigned it. However, I suggest not being so straight-forward (like saying "this is ugly"). Some people might not like that attitude.
01:54:021 - Add a note? Added a slider.
I did some more changes to improve flow and stuff. Remember that I also removed the forced white slider border, and chenged the combo colours to see if you like them.

Here ya go:

Hi Roddie! Here's my mod.

  • General
  1. Naraku's Insane doesn't have Tags. You should add Tags to that difficulty too.
  • [Easy]
  1. 00:19:147 (2) - For combos consistency, you should add a new combo here since you did this combo pattern for example at 00:27:137 (1).
  2. 00:39:691 (3) - How about adding a new combo here? Fits with the vocals. Hm and.. if you do this, for combos consistency.. If I am not wrong.. you should add a new combo at 00:44:257 (4).
  3. 00:57:953 (3) - A new combo here would fit nice with the music and it would be consistent with your combos in my opinion(01:00:235 (1), 01:03:659 (1)..).
  4. 01:07:083 (4) - ^ Yup, again, for the same reason as above: new combo here and remove new combo of the next slider?
  5. 01:09:366 (4) - New combo here and remove new combo at 01:10:507 (1)? And again, same reason as above. Also, if you did this, maybe you can also add a new combo at 01:11:649 (4).. that would follow the combo pattern that I'm suggesting you.
  6. 01:31:051 (2) - And again, for combos consistency you should add a new combo here since you always added new combo for example at 01:21:921 (1,1), 00:35:697 (4,1,1). I don't really know how to explain this lol that's why I used examples, but I'm sure you'll understand what I'm trying to say xD
  7. 01:52:737 (3) - If you did what I told you about combos of the 1st Kiai you should add a new combo here for consistency :3
  8. 02:00:726 (1) - Remove new combo here and add it to the next note (2) instead (for the same reason as above).
  9. 02:05:291 (1) - ^
  10. 02:17:846 - How about dragging the end of the break here?
  11. 02:32:113 (4) - Same as I told you about 02:00:726 (1) but inverse. Add new combo here and remove nc of the next note. You should also add new combo at 02:33:825 (3) after doing that.
  12. 02:39:531 (1) - ^ inverse again lol. Remove new combo here and add new combo to the next slider to follow the combo pattern that I'm suggesting you.
  13. 02:48:091 (3) - Add new combo here and remove new combo of the next slider since you did this pattern at the start of the previous Kiais.
  14. 02:49:803 (3) - And again, to follow the combo pattern that I'm suggesting you add a new combo here, remove new combo of 02:51:515 (1), add it to 02:52:086 (2) instead, after that remove new combo at 02:53:227 (1) and then add new combo at 02:54:369 (2).

The difficulty is nice. Sorry for writting so many stuff about new combos. I feel the combos a bit weird and that's why I did this. I know that your combos follow the vocals most of time but I think that what I suggested you fits better with the music but they're only suggestions and what I personally think. :D
  • [Normal]
  1. 00:32:843 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) - This combo is quite long for a Normal difficulty. I think that you should add a new combo to (7) to make this combo more shorter. Oh if you do this, I think you should add a new combo at 00:44:257 (5), at 00:49:963 (5) and at 01:44:747 (7) too for consistency.
  2. 01:31:051 (6) - And again, for combos consistency, you should add a new combo here.
  3. 02:07:003 (7) - This may be confusing for unexperienced players since it has too many repeats. Maybe replace this with a long slider with less repeats and do the same with 02:09:857 (2)?
  4. 02:47:521 (1) - Hm I don't find this placement friendly for unexperienced players too. How about moving this note somewhere else?
  5. 03:02:358 (1,2,3,4,5) - This pattern looks weird. Maybe you can try this if you like:
    SPOILER

You'll have to copy (1) and replace (5) with that slider because they doesn't have the same shape.

Nice difficulty too. You can also try the combo pattern that I suggested you in your Easy if you like how it fits.
  • [Hard]

Nothing to say~ and again you can try the combo pattern that I suggested you in your Easy if you like how it fits.
  • [Naraku's Insane]
  1. 01:43:321 (5) - Perhaps add a new combo here? I think that it fits with the vocals and also follows your combo pattern.

    That's all I've found here. Perfect o.o
That's all Roddie :D Oh and.. now that I see Naraku's difficulty.. that combo pattern that I suggested you to do in your difficulties.. is the one that Naraku already did at all the Kiai times of his difficulty lol I didn't know. Well anyway xD good luck!

  2. 00:55:670 (3) - add new combo in here. In kiai time, usually adding new combo for give better effect. also, remove new combo in 00:56:811 (1), and add new combo again in 00:57:953.
  3. 01:05:942 (1) - when I test this map, this slider is weird to look because in 01:07:654 (3), that slider isn't curve like this slider. I suggest to make same with (3), or (3) same with this.
