[Dead]
  1. AR8.6 instead? 9 feels to high for this.
  2. 00:00:162 (2) - Ghost note, no sound here. Only 1/8 tick note should be 00:00:376 (4) - as it is on a VERY faint sound. You could possibly put something on 00:00:590 - to follow on from 00:00:483 - , I think this would be fine due to the low BPM of the song.
  3. 00:00:483 (5,6) - Any reason for the dash here? This section is so calm and this dash doesn't really make any sense to me. If I were to put a dash anywhere, I would place it between 00:00:697 (6,1) - .
  4. 00:00:697 (6,1) - Don't like the hyper here, feels extremely forced, especially with the dash before it. Personal preference here, but I would hold to just dashes or very few hypers until 00:13:662 (8,1) - where the music really picks up and the hypers have a solid feel to them.
  5. 00:01:662 (6,1) - This makes no sense, even as a dash. Extremely faint note with a very strong emphasis due to the hyper.
  6. 00:02:412 (3,1) - Direction change and hyper on virtually nothing, save this movement for a point such as 00:03:376 (12,1) - (which is a lighter hyper for some reason right now?)
  7. 00:05:412 (4,5) - Same as previous note to hyper stream, way too forced.
  8. 00:06:376 (4,5) - You hyper here but have a dash to 00:06:483 (5,1) - ? Priority feels wrong, especially when you force things such as 00:05:412 (4,5) - with the same snap distance.
  9. 00:09:162 - Note here? Consistent with notes you placed at points such as 00:00:376 (4) - which are of similar intensity.
  10. 00:10:912 (6,7) - These aren't on anything for me. They kinda feel like slight pitch change points, but I feel that just a simple note at 00:10:983 - to cover the drop there is good enough, especially for this section of the song.
  11. 00:12:055 (1) - 1/2 repeater or something similar, you've focused a lot on the available sounds within this section, so missing out on 00:12:162 - doesn't seem consistent with what your timeline is now. 00:12:483 (3) - Is also the same.
  12. 00:18:697 (3) - Repeater here instead? Angle it to play like the curve, note has emphasis on the sound at 00:18:912 - that you are currently covering with a full slider instead.
  13. 00:41:197 (1) - Feels like there is 0 hitsound feedback on this section, Its really awkward to watch this section and hear no feedback from the notes, even if there is a vocal focus here. 00:42:912 (1) - is the only note with some actual feel to it which really stands out due to there being literally nothing else around it.
[Platter]
  1. 00:00:055 (1) - Make this a 1/4 repeater, becomes consistent with 00:01:769 (1) - etc.
  2. 00:08:626 (1) - Change angle on this? I don't like the direction change into such a weak note, especially when it has the same gradient as a much stronger note, such as 00:08:197 (4) - . Something consistent with 00:09:055 (2) - would be nice.
  3. 00:10:662 - Circle here maybe? You've covered similar points with 00:10:340 (1,2,3) - at 00:10:447 (2) - so I don't see why not.
  4. 00:10:769 (4) - Repeat here for the pitch change sounds awkward, especially when the sound itself is not very prominent and the change less so. Emphasis on the point 00:10:983 - with a normal slider seems to be a good option instead.
  5. 00:18:697 (2) - Repeater for the piano on 00:18:912 - ? A whistle on it sounds fine and doesn't stand out too much to take emphasis away from 00:19:126 - .
  6. 01:06:912 (1,2) - Hyper feels awkward here, it is extremely similar to 01:07:555 (4,5) - which is a much stronger pairing, this one seems to just be done for flow. Considering the intensity of the song, I would remove this hyper as it isn't really needed, normal dashes would suffice here.
  7. 01:07:340 (3,4) - Distance here doesn't make sense, to get to 01:07:340 (3) - is smaller than 01:07:555 (4) - whilst 01:07:340 - is the more prominent sound, swap distances or reduce 01:07:340 (3,4) - since you want to keep the hyper to 01:07:769 (5) - regardless.
  8. 01:09:483 (3,4,1,2) - hello 2014 These aren't fun to play, especially at the end of the map. Whilst the notes are pretty intense and there is very little to match them together due to sparse timeline, please reduce the distance. Patterns like these aren't fun to play at the end of the map, especially in a calm one like this where such patterns aren't expected.

[Salad]
  1. 00:03:269 (3) - I'm not a massive fan of this note in a Salad, it fits to some extent but I don't like the usage of such quiet sounds. The dash is a bit awkward to visualise due to the BPM, and I feel like a dash between 00:02:626 (2,1) - would be a better use of timeline here, mainly to allow the player to navigate such a quiet section easily.
  2. 00:05:412 (2,3,4) - Distance emphasis feels a bit wrong here. I feel like 00:05:840 (4) - should maybe stack ontop of 00:05:626 (3) - or at least be lower distance since it is a very quiet note.
  3. 00:09:912 (2,1) - I don't like 00:09:912 (2) - in this timeline, I would prefer 00:09:483 (1) - repeating and a solid dash to 00:10:340 (1) - that is very clear, I also feel like the wiggle of 00:09:483 (1,2) - is a bit too much going into 00:10:340 (1) - so this change would help solve that.
  4. 00:23:412 (2) - Pointless note, You've skipped a lot of sounds heavier than this that are still quite light, 00:23:840 (3) - also feels a bit problematic in this sense but at least has some vocal presence.
  5. 00:28:983 (2) - Repeater instead? 00:29:197 - is pretty noticable and you've put notes on less intense parts, you'd need to fiddle around with it a bit though to emphasise 00:29:626 (1) - properly.
  6. 00:31:769 (1) - Same point as above, I feel the repeater adds emphasis to an important point.
[Cup]
  1. 00:01:983 (2) - Start this 1/2 later on the ring? It's more prominent and lowers the density which should be nice and low in this section, especially on a Cup.
  2. 00:04:126 - Although slightly contradictory to my point above, a note here wouldn't be so bad. the 1/4 snap isn't as problematic because this is a well defined spot, a note at somewhere around x:160 keeps the same distance snap but doesn't ignore a prominent sound in this slow section.
  3. 00:06:269 - Feels a bit odd to leave this out when 00:06:697 (4) - is present. If you are ignoring this, maybe ignoring 00:06:697 (4) - and changing the spacing up on 00:06:483 (3,1) - could be a possible option to reflect the leniency of the timeline?
  4. 00:18:697 (1) - Repeater at similar angle plays the same but has object on 00:18:911 - which feels relatively important.
  5. 01:02:412 - Note here? Prominent sound consistent with other Kiai parts such as 00:48:055 (2,3,4) - .

  1. AR8.6 instead? 9 feels to high for this. Will see how it comes out.
  2. 00:00:162 (2) - Ghost note, no sound here. Only 1/8 tick note should be 00:00:376 (4) - as it is on a VERY faint sound. You could possibly put something on 00:00:590 - to follow on from 00:00:483 - , I think this would be fine due to the low BPM of the song. Deleted the ghost note, but didn't add a note 00:00:590 - here because there isn't any sound here either.
  3. 00:00:483 (5,6) - Any reason for the dash here? This section is so calm and this dash doesn't really make any sense to me. If I were to put a dash anywhere, I would place it between 00:00:697 (6,1) - . Done so.
  4. 00:00:697 (6,1) - Don't like the hyper here, feels extremely forced, especially with the dash before it. Personal preference here, but I would hold to just dashes or very few hypers until 00:13:662 (8,1) - where the music really picks up and the hypers have a solid feel to them. I'd rather have few hypers instead, but not less than the hypers found on the platter, since this is a rain. But to the change in itself, yeah, just left a dash between those.
  5. 00:01:662 (6,1) - This makes no sense, even as a dash. Extremely faint note with a very strong emphasis due to the hyper. Made it just a walk instead.
  6. 00:02:412 (3,1) - Direction change and hyper on virtually nothing, save this movement for a point such as 00:03:376 (12,1) - (which is a lighter hyper for some reason right now?) Made it a dash onto the 1/16 curved streams instead, also got rid of the hyper
  7. 00:05:412 (4,5) - Same as previous note to hyper stream, way too forced. Also deleted this one, made a different pattern.
  8. 00:06:376 (4,5) - You hyper here but have a dash to 00:06:483 (5,1) - ? Priority feels wrong, especially when you force things such as 00:05:412 (4,5) - with the same snap distance. Switched the hypers placement.
  9. 00:09:162 - Note here? Consistent with notes you placed at points such as 00:00:376 (4) - which are of similar intensity. Done.
  10. 00:10:912 (6,7) - These aren't on anything for me. They kinda feel like slight pitch change points, but I feel that just a simple note at 00:10:983 - to cover the drop there is good enough, especially for this section of the song. Made it a 1/4 (140BPM 1/2) slider instead.
  11. 00:12:055 (1) - 1/2 repeater or something similar, you've focused a lot on the available sounds within this section, so missing out on 00:12:162 - doesn't seem consistent with what your timeline is now. 00:12:483 (3) - Is also the same. Mapped all 1/8s in exchange of the first slider, but left the 2nd intact as it is because I can't get to hear 1/8 sounds covered by it at all.
  12. 00:18:697 (3) - Repeater here instead? Angle it to play like the curve, note has emphasis on the sound at 00:18:912 - that you are currently covering with a full slider instead. Done, made it just a horizontal slider, since curving it would make it look kinda weird.
  13. 00:41:197 (1) - Feels like there is 0 hitsound feedback on this section, Its really awkward to watch this section and hear no feedback from the notes, even if there is a vocal focus here. 00:42:912 (1) - is the only note with some actual feel to it which really stands out due to there being literally nothing else around it. Whoops, I forgot to add a drum-hitwhistle to this one too. Thanks for pointing it out, it should have some feedback now.
[Platter]
  1. 00:00:055 (1) - Make this a 1/4 repeater, becomes consistent with 00:01:769 (1) - etc. There are no sounds at 00:00:269 - this tick, and that slider you pointed out is a 1/4 repeat because there is a reverb sound with enough intensity like to be mapped as such. Also if I did that, I'd have to do the same on 00:03:483 (1) - , 00:06:912 (1) - and so on.
  2. 00:08:626 (1) - Change angle on this? I don't like the direction change into such a weak note, especially when it has the same gradient as a much stronger note, such as 00:08:197 (4) - . Something consistent with 00:09:055 (2) - would be nice. Done.
  3. 00:10:662 - Circle here maybe? You've covered similar points with 00:10:340 (1,2,3) - at 00:10:447 (2) - so I don't see why not. Seems nice enough.
  4. 00:10:769 (4) - Repeat here for the pitch change sounds awkward, especially when the sound itself is not very prominent and the change less so. Emphasis on the point 00:10:983 - with a normal slider seems to be a good option instead. Also done to keep consistency with Alive diff as well.
  5. 00:18:697 (2) - Repeater for the piano on 00:18:912 - ? A whistle on it sounds fine and doesn't stand out too much to take emphasis away from 00:19:126 - . tfw you can't add whistles as a whole due to the custom hitsounds, anyways done.
  6. 01:06:912 (1,2) - Hyper feels awkward here, it is extremely similar to 01:07:555 (4,5) - which is a much stronger pairing, this one seems to just be done for flow. Considering the intensity of the song, I would remove this hyper as it isn't really needed, normal dashes would suffice here. Changed to normal dashes instead.
  7. 01:07:340 (3,4) - Distance here doesn't make sense, to get to 01:07:340 (3) - is smaller than 01:07:555 (4) - whilst 01:07:340 - is the more prominent sound, swap distances or reduce 01:07:340 (3,4) - since you want to keep the hyper to 01:07:769 (5) - regardless. Already done with previous change.
  8. 01:09:483 (3,4,1,2) - hello 2014 These aren't fun to play, especially at the end of the map. Whilst the notes are pretty intense and there is very little to match them together due to sparse timeline, please reduce the distance. Patterns like these aren't fun to play at the end of the map, especially in a calm one like this where such patterns aren't expected. Tried a different pattern that will hopefully succeed on being more expectable for the player.
[Cup]
  1. 00:01:983 (2) - Start this 1/2 later on the ring? It's more prominent and lowers the density which should be nice and low in this section, especially on a Cup. Done a different pattern that includes a 1/1 long slider just to emphasize the long sound at 00:01:340 -
  2. 00:04:126 - Although slightly contradictory to my point above, a note here wouldn't be so bad. the 1/4 snap isn't as problematic because this is a well defined spot, a note at somewhere around x:160 keeps the same distance snap but doesn't ignore a prominent sound in this slow section. Added.
  3. 00:06:269 - Feels a bit odd to leave this out when 00:06:697 (4) - is present. If you are ignoring this, maybe ignoring 00:06:697 (4) - and changing the spacing up on 00:06:483 (3,1) - could be a possible option to reflect the leniency of the timeline? I'm ignoring the timestamp you're highlighting to keep density to a low in such a calm section, and also when I click on that other timestamp it sends me to an unexistant beat or to another note that is not the one you said (4). Made a 1/4 slider from 00:06:483 - to 00:06:697 - though.
  4. 00:18:697 (1) - Repeater at similar angle plays the same but has object on 00:18:911 - which feels relatively important. Done.
  5. 01:02:412 - Note here? Prominent sound consistent with other Kiai parts such as 00:48:055 (2,3,4) - . Added.
Thanks for the mod! Gonna wait until Jusen applies the changes over his salad, already gave you kudos though.

  1. 00:03:269 (3) - I'm not a massive fan of this note in a Salad, it fits to some extent but I don't like the usage of such quiet sounds. The dash is a bit awkward to visualise due to the BPM, and I feel like a dash between 00:02:626 (2,1) - would be a better use of timeline here, mainly to allow the player to navigate such a quiet section easily. I know that maybe the jump may seem a bit uncomfortable, but imo I feel that the sound where I have the dash is actually much stronger than the one you mentioned to me, being thus the beginning of another part of the song.
  2. 00:05:412 (2,3,4) - Distance emphasis feels a bit wrong here. I feel like 00:05:840 (4) - should maybe stack ontop of 00:05:626 (3) - or at least be lower distance since it is a very quiet note. I made some changes, for example I added a 1/4 slider and a note, I feel that it looks much better, although your suggestion is also good, but, I opted for another alternative.
  3. 00:09:912 (2,1) - I don't like 00:09:912 (2) - in this timeline, I would prefer 00:09:483 (1) - repeating and a solid dash to 00:10:340 (1) - that is very clear, I also feel like the wiggle of 00:09:483 (1,2) - is a bit too much going into 00:10:340 (1) - so this change would help solve that. I know that a slider with repeater is better, but I want to give it more variety as far as my patterns, in that respect, I feel that those inclined sliders give a better perspective towards the next note, since it is not difficult to reach it.
  4. 00:23:412 (2) - Pointless note, You've skipped a lot of sounds heavier than this that are still quite light, 00:23:840 (3) - also feels a bit problematic in this sense but at least has some vocal presence. No, on the contrary, that note is not useless and it is not too much, because that note contrasts with the piano, therefore I will leave it.
  5. 00:28:983 (2) - Repeater instead? 00:29:197 - is pretty noticable and you've put notes on less intense parts, you'd need to fiddle around with it a bit though to emphasise 00:29:626 (1) - properly. I know that in the middle of this slider there is a cymbal, but I prefer that the slider take its course, following the vowel, also makes a good mirror effect with the previous slider.
  6. 00:31:769 (1) - Same point as above, I feel the repeater adds emphasis to an important point. Instead, I added a note, since putting a repeater would make things complicated to organize the structure well.

[Salad]
00:09:483 (1,2) - imo this 1/4 back and forth movement for 3 times is a bit tricky for salad difficulty, how to make it easier like ctrl + g 00:09:483 (1) - and replace on x 224 around?
00:31:340 (2,1) - useless long distance since it doesn't fit with your jump section consistency
00:32:840 (5,1) - ^

[Platter]
00:07:555 (2,3,4) - considered as semi-edge dash, it's pretty much for Platter level imo, try to reduce a bit more
00:09:055 (2,3) - ^, also this one is more obvious cuz I didn't find anything special spot
00:36:269 (3,1) - ^
00:39:483 (1,2) - can you make further distance on here? i think it'll give the straight flow better

[Alive]
00:12:162 (5,7) - To make the shape more smoother, try to replace them on x348

basically i wouldn't touch the parts which is gonna ruin overall patterns, it's not good for all tbh

00:32:840 (5,1) - ^ In none of these notes is there a jump, I will leave it as it is
Thanks for the mod

01:16:755 (3,4,1,2) - Not really important but this is the only spot in the map that has an significant increase in spacing over pretty much everything else. Aka nerf this slightly?
00:44:626 (1) - Isn't this NC pretty weird? Consider removing it.

00:44:626 (1) - Isn't this NC pretty weird? Consider removing it. It emphasizes the buildup onto the kiai part, as it's a way longer slider than any of the others and there is no other sound after it until the lyrics 00:47:197 - here take over. So yeah, keeping it.

[Platter]
00:36:269 (3) - CTRL+G Reduced distance between previous and next objects to make it easier to catch, but kept the antiflowing movement since it fits nicely with the changing pitch of Rie's voice.

[Alive]
00:03:055 (9) - NC This is a 12 fruit combo, so it's ok since they're not higher than 16, as stated by the guideline that says so.
00:13:340 (5) - ^ Just an 8 combo stream, should be okay without one.
00:08:197 (5) - ^ If I added one here I'd have to do the same to every single one at the beginning, such as 00:01:340 (5) - this one for example, which is not the thing I want to do since the combo is still lower than 10 fruits and this is a rain diff.
01:01:340 (5) - ^ Nope, it looks weird to have a NC here taking into account there is one 4 fruits after it.
01:28:203 (5) - ^ Added since it's the last stanza of the song.

20:15 Hareimu: er, I just remembered
20:15 Setomi: Y-yes
20:16 Hareimu: would it be too much for me to remind you about the mod thingy? ^^U
20:16 Hareimu: dunno if you're busy or something now D:
20:16 Setomi: You want IRC?
20:16 Hareimu: if you could, yes
20:17 Hareimu: I feel it'd be a bit more convenient rather than making a forum post, I guess
20:18 Hareimu: ...I wonder what map you wanna look at first though? xD
20:18 Setomi: Oh I see
20:18 Setomi: Ok sure
20:18 Setomi: Just gonna pick a map then
20:19 Hareimu: tell me which when you've decided c:
20:21 *Setomi is editing [https://osu.ppy.sh/b/1181367 EMILIA (CV: Rie Takahashi) - Stay Alive [Alive]]
20:21 Setomi: This then
20:22 Hareimu: okie dokieª!
20:22 Hareimu: (what was that ª tho)
20:23 Setomi: Haha
20:25 Setomi: Ok, might take me a min or two to get started
20:26 Hareimu: don't worry, take your time ^^
20:27 Setomi: Then I must ask what your idea was when you mapped the intro of the map
20:31 Hareimu: my idea was to follow the sounds that were actually audible while making it easy to follow by adding as minimum hdashes as possible to only the prominent sounds.
20:33 Setomi: Ok
20:33 Setomi: Think the intro section is alright but I think you should cut down on some of the streams
20:34 Setomi: Example:
20:34 Setomi: 00:01:447 (6,8) -
20:34 Setomi: 00:04:769 (1) - Make circle
20:34 Setomi: 00:08:304 (6,8) -
20:35 Setomi: 00:09:054 (4,5) -
20:35 Setomi: Circle on those ^
20:35 Setomi: 00:11:626 (2,3) - circle
20:36 Hareimu: let me see how those would work
20:36 Setomi: Sure
20:37 Hareimu: done the first one
20:38 Setomi: Gives it a bit more structure doing it this way
20:43 Setomi: Tell me when you're done with that section
20:43 Hareimu: alright, done the second one
20:43 Hareimu: I'm trying to think of how they'd work if I applied them because in one hand you're kinda right, I think I overdid streams
20:44 Setomi: Yes
20:44 Setomi: It will require slight 'remapping'
20:44 Setomi: But I think it's for the best
21:03 Setomi: So?
21:04 Hareimu: er, wait just a minute :P
21:11 Hareimu: aaand I think i'm done
21:12 Setomi: great
21:16 Setomi: 00:16:769 (6) -
21:17 Setomi: Think you can make this a circle considering the way you hitsounded 00:16:340 (5,6,1) -
21:17 Hareimu: nah, that slider is following the lyric line as well
21:18 Hareimu: keeping it as it is for now
21:24 Setomi: 00:16:340 (5,6,1) - This ends on a clap
21:24 Setomi: Doesn't really follow the general flow
21:27 Hareimu: what do you mean?
21:28 Setomi: 00:18:697 (3) -
21:28 Setomi: Sorry
21:28 Setomi: Wrong 'link'
21:28 Setomi: ctrl + c pls
21:29 Hareimu: kek
21:29 Hareimu: well, lemme see what can i do about that one
21:31 Hareimu: fixed by making it a normal (not repeat) slider and adding a note 00:19:126 - here at x:304
21:31 Hareimu: also moved 00:19:340 (5) - to x:96 and changed it's shape to flow better
21:31 Setomi: Okay
21:36 Setomi: 00:22:126 (3,4,5) - Movement between these feels a bit weird
21:36 Setomi: Most likely because of 3 & 5 being on the same x:
21:37 Hareimu: they're not on the same x, but they're ctrl+g'd at the same visual position instead
21:37 Hareimu: but uh
21:37 Hareimu: how should I fix it?
21:37 Setomi: Sorry my bad I mean that slider end on 3 has the same x as start of 5
21:38 Hareimu: ah, fixed it
21:38 Hareimu: kept 00:22:126 (3) - at x:208 as a vertical slider tilted one grid to the left
21:38 Setomi: Sounds good
21:38 Setomi: Apparently I'm way more tired than I thought
21:38 Hareimu: and made 00:22:769 (5) - a completely horizontal pointing to the left placed at x:192
21:39 Hareimu: this way that last slider can have a hyperdash to 00:23:197 (6) - which has a cymbal sound
21:40 Setomi: Ah ok that works for sure
21:40 Setomi: 00:28:983 (1,2,3,4,5) -
21:41 Setomi: Kinda the same 'issue' here
21:41 Hareimu: same as before, I know
21:42 Hareimu: lemme see if I can fix it somehow
21:42 Setomi: If you could fix the previous one you can fix this c:
21:43 Hareimu: replaced 1 and 2 with a slider instead
21:43 Hareimu: same with 4 and 5
21:44 Hareimu: 00:28:983 (1) - this one is placed at the same axis as 1 and 2 were (fully horizontal)
21:44 Hareimu: 00:29:412 (2) - is at x:256 (I believe it's the same as before?
21:45 Hareimu: but moved 00:29:626 (3) - (it's 4 and 5 in one slider) to x:64, vertically tilted a grid to the left
21:45 Hareimu: tl;dr: fixed :D
21:45 Setomi: Haha great
21:46 Setomi: 00:33:055 (4,5) - Think you could change movement on these
21:46 Setomi: 00:32:412 (1,2,3,4,5) - since this pattern feels a bit 'boring' in general
21:47 Hareimu: hmm...
21:47 Hareimu: ctrl+h'ing (3) might do the trick?
21:47 Hareimu: and varying the shape of these 00:33:483 (6,7) -
21:49 Hareimu: made 4 and 5 a vertical slider tilted 2 grids to the right placed at x:64
21:49 Hareimu: tilted 00:33:483 (5) - 2 more grids since (4) is tilted 2, then 5 will be tilted 4 and then 00:33:912 (6) - leave this one completely horizontal
21:49 Hareimu: should work for me
21:50 Setomi: As long as you think it's an improvement from before
21:50 Hareimu: basically the same pattern but with kinda snappy movement
21:50 Hareimu: and a bit more of variation between slidershapes
21:50 Hareimu: I believe it is :>
21:50 Setomi: Nice c:
21:52 Setomi: 00:35:197 (4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5) -
21:52 Setomi: This whole 'section' is a bit weird to me
21:52 Hareimu: yeah, I thought so too but I didn't know what to do with it
21:54 Setomi: Too me it could use more vertical movement
21:56 Hareimu: I tried moving 00:35:197 (4) - to x:64, 00:35:412 (5) - to x:160, 00:35:626 (6) - to x:448, 00:35:840 (1) - to x:160, 00:36:055 (2) - to x:64, 00:36:269 (3) - to x:256, 00:36:483 (4) - to x:160 and 00:36:697 (5) - to x:352
21:57 Hareimu: dunno if it would work
21:57 Hareimu: but the last one produces a nice hyperdash onto 00:36:912 (6) -
21:58 Hareimu: and there is also a double hdash 00:35:412 (5,6,1) - here that emphasizes the intensity change in emilia's voice
22:00 Setomi: It's an improvement for sure
22:00 Setomi: Think you can stick with that for now at least
22:01 Hareimu: yup
22:03 Setomi: 00:50:626 (3) - Remove finish from start and place it at end instead
22:07 Setomi: 00:54:483 (3) - Remove finish from this as well
22:08 Setomi: 00:57:054 (4) - Remove finish from slider end
22:08 Hareimu: there is a clearly audible cymbal at the bgm in that last one
22:08 Hareimu: and to the first one... it sounds really weird
22:08 Setomi: ?
22:09 Hareimu: I'd rather rehitsound the finishes myself, I feel they're not right at all to begin with, lemme see
22:09 Setomi: 00:48:912 (3,4,1) - Are done the right way and 00:50:626 (3,4,1) - are not
22:12 Hareimu: redone pretty quickly actually
22:12 Setomi: Sweet c:
22:13 Hareimu: I should update when we're finished looking at the placements and that stuff so that you can see the new ones
22:13 Setomi: Sure
22:13 Setomi: The kiai looks fine to me
22:14 Hareimu: so yeah, go ahead with the rest
22:15 Setomi: And personally I think the ending is a bit over the top compared to the rest of the map
22:15 Setomi: The ending part is more intense in its drums etc but I still think it's a bit too hard compared to the rest
22:16 Hareimu: the main idea was to get a nice emphasizing of the stay alives emilia sang all along the kiai, and I couldn't find another way to emphasize them rather than using double hdashes in every "aaaaayaaayaaaay"
22:17 Hareimu: if I used any other method, it'd look like platter diff
22:17 Setomi: The kiai is fine
22:17 Setomi: I'm talking about what comes after it
22:19 Hareimu: I think it's okay, since the concept of double hyperdashes was already introduced in the kiai then I thought it wouldn't hurt too much to emphasize the strong drums of the end with them as well
22:19 Hareimu: ...but to be honest, movement between 01:15:483 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - these and the next object 01:16:331 (1) - felt weird and unfitting
22:19 Hareimu: thing that I fixed by now
22:20 Hareimu: (in both that one and 01:18:875 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1) - here too)
22:21 Setomi: Sure
22:22 Setomi: The thing that makes it hard is that u map 01:16:543 (2) -
22:22 Setomi: 01:19:938 (2) -
22:22 Setomi: They are pretty much empty sounds compared to the strong drums
22:22 Setomi: And this stream 01:23:757 (4,5,6,7) - is mapped on silence as well
22:22 Setomi: To me it just feels a bit 'overmapped'
22:30 Hareimu: fixed all
22:31 Hareimu: it should be better when I update now
22:32 Hareimu: I think we're done with rain?
22:32 Setomi: Sure update it
22:32 Setomi: I think we're done, I'm sorry for being slow
22:33 Hareimu: lemme just test it
22:38 Setomi: Sure
22:43 Hareimu: done
22:43 Hareimu: check out now :>
22:45 Setomi: Damn
22:45 Setomi: Way better now
22:45 Setomi: You did the ending 'n' such great
22:46 Hareimu: \:D/ thanks <3
22:46 Hareimu: are you gonna take a look at other diffs or just the rain? because if the latter I'll be fine anyway, it's your choice nwn
22:47 Setomi: I'd gladly look at the other diffs
22:47 Setomi: But I'd rather do it tomorrow
22:47 Setomi: If you're alright with that

22:48 Hareimu: but post the /savelog from this conversation over thread
22:48 Hareimu: so I don't lose it
22:49 Setomi: I had to reinstall osu before and forgot to tick 'log private messages'

  1. 00:00:483 (4,5) - I don't feel that 00:00:697 - is worth placing a slider and a sound worth mapping a slider is between 00:00:483 - 00:00:697 - . Also sound at 00:00:804 - feels pretty weak and isn't relevant to map, suggested timeline by me >
  2. 00:01:447 - sound here is much stronger than here 00:00:804 - but you leaved it unmapped, try having two 1/8 triplets instead - https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/7447606
  3. 00:05:304 - triplets works nice at this song so maybe add one note here to make another one?
  4. 00:09:912 (2) - I find this slider too spaced, by playing this player is force to move on that slider and its pretty complicated with connection to the hyper-dash on the tail of slider, try stacking a bit slider like this or change it into C-shaped stream that works nice with hyper at it's end
  5. 00:26:483 (5) - nazi but move it to x:384 for clear movement
  6. 00:42:912 (1) - NC doesn't fit much and is not consistence with your previous NCing since you mostly use 5-7 objects long combo and here you divine 5 objects into 2 combos (only 8 fruits with droplets)
  7. 01:00:483 (2,3) - isn't vocal between those notes worth mapping as slider?
  8. 01:21:321 (6) - better to read the hyper-dash with this on x:336
  9. 01:21:782 (3,4) - too spaced I guess
  10. 01:28:839 - maybe 1/4 slider here for the strong sound in background?

Nice map, good luck with that!

  3. 00:05:304 - triplets works nice at this song so maybe add one note here to make another one? There is no sound there, bodom. Even if the patterns work nice and all, they're pointless and odd to play if added to unexistant sounds.

  10. 01:28:839 - maybe 1/4 slider here for the strong sound in background? No, because doing so would make the pattern look and play really weird since the sound that extends until 1/4 of a beat you're pointing out doesn't really call for being mapped as any kind of thing.

Nice map, good luck with that!

General: ai mod says kiai isnt snapped on cup

cup
00:04:126 (2) - Honestly, i would get rid of this note to stay consistent with the 1/2 timeline spacing you have in places like 00:00:055 (1,2) - and 00:06:912 (1,2)

00:11:626 (1,2) - boring to play imo since they have no movement unlike most of the sliders in the beginning which kinda breaks some flow imo. At least slant them more like this one at 00:10:340 (1) -

00:15:269 (1) - move to x=240 to reflect the spacing with 00:13:769 (1,2) - much better and move 00:15:912 (2) - to x=432 also

00:18:483 (3,1,2) - ehh tbh i dont think you should have bigger spacing at note (1) to (2) than (3) to (1) because (2) is not hitsounded.

00:22:340 (1) - a little random tbh, would like a good reason for this being a repeat triplet instead of a normal slider.

00:27:697 (2) - im not that keen on mapping a sound that is kinda hard to hear in cups. If anything, i think that making 00:27:483 (1) - into a 1/4 slider and getting rid of (2) would work fine and you put a note at 00:28:126 (2) -

00:42:483 (2) - theres a really big important piano sound that i think you should emphasize in the middle of this slider that you can map by making the slider a repeat or ending it early and putting a note.

00:49:769 (1) - move to x=272 to stay similar spacing from the distance jump at 00:48:697 (3,4) -

00:51:483 (1) - ^ move to 272

01:11:197 (4,5) - would look better if it was an even triplet or a repeat slider. Maybe clean the triplet up a bit?

00:10:340 (1,2) - i get that ur trying to spice up the pattern to kind of stop repetition but i still think that following the pattern you set up for yourself in the beginning of the song with a 1/2 slider into a note and the two 1/4 sliders is still the way to map out this part since four 1/4 sliders idnt really that much better and i think in this case carries out the rhythm much less better.

00:22:126 (1) - you can make this a 1/4 slider and put a note at somewhere like x=224 imo to map nani better bc it seems like ur following vocals here.

00:28:340 (4) - putting hypers into sliders that antiflow without a curve in the beginning is pretty rough for a platter, especially one that seems to be one in the easier side with the bpm. i would suggest you curve it a bit like 00:24:055 (1) - to reduce a bit of diffuculty.

00:56:626 (3,4) - i dont think that the distance between these guys should be larger than 00:57:055 (4,5). Nerf distancing a bit?

01:19:726 (3,4) - imo this is a pretty rough jump for a new player who dosent see it coming since there was a hyperdash that forces the flow a little.

00:09:483 (1) - tbh i really likes the 1/16 streams you had in places like this from before.

00:17:197 (1) - could use more movement as its just a boring old curved slider with nothing going for it\

00:41:197 (1) - can you make this slider further away/ maybe hyper distance, i get that its the start of the slow part but i think that you can emphasize the gasp and the low spacing ruins flow imo.

00:04:126 (2) - Honestly, i would get rid of this note to stay consistent with the 1/2 timeline spacing you have in places like 00:00:055 (1,2) - and 00:06:912 (1,2) Done

00:11:626 (1,2) - boring to play imo since they have no movement unlike most of the sliders in the beginning which kinda breaks some flow imo. At least slant them more like this one at 00:10:340 (1) - Done

00:15:269 (1) - move to x=240 to reflect the spacing with 00:13:769 (1,2) - much better and move 00:15:912 (2) - to x=432 also Made 00:13:769 (1,2) - these two distanced by 1,5x instead.

00:18:483 (3,1,2) - ehh tbh i dont think you should have bigger spacing at note (1) to (2) than (3) to (1) because (2) is not hitsounded. (2) is hitsounded though, but anyway swapped distancing

00:22:340 (1) - a little random tbh, would like a good reason for this being a repeat triplet instead of a normal slider. Dunno why I made that one a double repeat slider, changed it into 2 sliders instead.

00:27:697 (2) - im not that keen on mapping a sound that is kinda hard to hear in cups. If anything, i think that making 00:27:483 (1) - into a 1/4 slider and getting rid of (2) would work fine and you put a note at 00:28:126 (2) - Nah, the sound in which the sliderhead is placed is clearly audible and the slidertail follows the lyrical line instead.

00:42:483 (2) - theres a really big important piano sound that i think you should emphasize in the middle of this slider that you can map by making the slider a repeat or ending it early and putting a note. I tried to follow the lyrical line at this calm part instead for the sake of keeping note density to a low amount, but I'll see how it turns out mapping the piano sound too.

00:49:769 (1) - move to x=272 to stay similar spacing from the distance jump at 00:48:697 (3,4) - Swapped distances to improve emphasizing between strong drums and cymbals instead.

00:51:483 (1) - ^ move to 272 Done with previous change.

01:11:197 (4,5) - would look better if it was an even triplet or a repeat slider. Maybe clean the triplet up a bit? Made it an horizontal repeat slider instead.

Every slider on this section is not mapped for the sake of not repeating patterns, but to simply follow the sounds appearing throughout this 4 beat measure (2 beat, if you must since the bpm is 70 and not 140). 00:10:340 (1) - is mapped to the obviously hearable sound of the first beat, 00:10:769 (2) - is mapped to a slightly less pitched sound here, 00:11:197 (3) - does the same but with a slightly higher pitched one, 00:11:626 (4) - and this one comes back to the same pitch of the first beat. Distances followed here aren't randomly made, but rather strictly follow the varying pitches, as you can see. So yeah, keeping this for now.

00:22:126 (1) - you can make this a 1/4 slider and put a note at somewhere like x=224 imo to map nani better bc it seems like ur following vocals here. Alright, changed it to a 1/4 repeat slider.

01:19:726 (3,4) - imo this is a pretty rough jump for a new player who dosent see it coming since there was a hyperdash that forces the flow a little. Made some changes so that it's more accessible.

00:09:483 (1) - tbh i really likes the 1/16 streams you had in places like this from before. Ye, but there aren't any sounds here like to map 1/16 sounds so \:D/

00:17:197 (1) - could use more movement as its just a boring old curved slider with nothing going for it\ Made it straight, centered looking to the right, it has more movement now \:D/

00:41:197 (1) - can you make this slider further away/ maybe hyper distance, i get that its the start of the slow part but i think that you can emphasize the gasp and the low spacing ruins flow imo. Made it into a hyperdash to the gasping slider, dunno if it works but I'm going with that for now I guess
