  1. 00:16:988 (1) - move spinner back a bit, to here 00:16:988 (1) -
  2. 00:19:788 - Recommend having a note place here rather than spinner end.
  3. 00:20:988 (3,4) - hard to read, maybe space out?
  4. 00:22:988 - generally you would want Sliders to start on white ticks. Because there's a strong sound here,, I don't understand why there isn't.
  5. 00:30:988 (4,1) - 1/1 gap, increase spacing between these two notes.
  6. 00:35:788 (5,1) - ^
  7. 00:43:588 (7,1) - ^
  8. 00:46:388 (2,3) - I don't think this works at all. Remove make 00:45:388 (1) - a 1/1 repeat slider
  9. 00:49:988 (2,3) - I won't mention this again, but because there is a 1/1 gap between these two notes, you should increase spacing (unless stacked)
  10. 00:52:988 (4,5,6) - I don't see how 3 notes fit here rather than a slider.
  11. 01:17:788 (1) - End spinner here 01:17:788 (1) - and place a single note here 01:17:788 (1) -
  12. 01:42:988 (1,2) - overlap looks ugly
  13. 02:09:909 - i dunno if having a gap like this is rankable, if you cant map to the vocals anymore map to the instruments
  14. 02:23:388 (1,2) - move 2 closer to 1
  15. 02:34:188 (1) - make into 1/1 slider, it is a long vocal
  16. 02:54:188 (2,3) - move 3 closer to 2
  17. 03:28:188 (3,4) - stack, they look kinda ugly like this
  18. 04:07:788 (2) - this repeat slider doesn't make any sense D:

good luck!
AMX
Hi! Great song, and a great anime!

Okay so this is actually a decent first map. I see you understand some concepts like blanketing and aesthetics to some degree. Where I see this map failing tho is in rythm, consistency, note placement and alittle bit of aesthetics, but not to worry! This is expected from new mappers (myself included), I would say this is actually pretty impressive for a first map.

I remember when I put out my first map and a guy was going to mod it, but he added me in-game instead and linked me some youtube videos and stuff, I was glad but kinda sad that he didn't mod my map (later on I understand why, it was completely pointless to do so since my map was really bad, the mod would take forever). HOWEVER! I'm going to link you some youtube videos and give some general tips you should work on, and after that i'm going to mod some things in your map 'professionally'.

First things first, watch these youtube videos and learn from them! They are REALLY good and easy to understand and they helped me alot.

Okay, so now on to the actuall map!

Arigatou

First of all, some tips that you might find handy:
- if you press Ctrl + A you can see that the corners are unmapped! That's alof of space going to waste there, make use of the whole area when mapping.
- Try to (atleast now when you're starting out, keep yourself away from the blue ticks, and only map on them if it's possible to add a stream.)
- Keep spacing as consistent as possible, slow parts = little spacing, fast parts = more spacing.
- Spinners are NOT used to active sounds (meaning sounds that you could easily add a circle or slider instead).
- Keep your slidershapes to a minimum, using to many slidershapes makes the map look really random and nothing really fits together.

Okay down to the mod itself.

SPOILER
00:00:588 (1,2) - I would probably stack these.
00:10:188 (1) - Ctrl+J this and move 00:11:788 (2) - to x:388 y: 186 to better fit the music.
00:16:588 (7) - Inconsistent spacing.
00:14:188 (4,5,6) - Slider should end at 0:18:988 and put a circle at 00:19:788.
00:22:588 (6,1) - Inconsistent spacing compared to 00:23:788 (2,3,4) -
00:23:788 (2,3,4) - Slidershape looks kinda ugly, try to unbend it alittle.
00:32:588 (1) - Consider removing or reducing and adding another slider or hitcircles.
00:36:988 - Add a circle or something.
00:40:588 (1,2,3,4) - Pattern looks kinda ugly, I would probably do something like http://puu.sh/tHmtH/25c58ff551.jpg
00:54:188 (8,1) - Blanket better.
00:51:788 (3) - NC
00:58:188 (1,2,3) - Inconsistent spacing.
01:14:588 (1,2,3,4) - Why do these have the exact same spacing when 01:14:588 (1,2) - is a 1/2 and 01:15:388 (3,4) - is a 1/4, should change the spacing so one can visually tell them apart.
01:17:788 (1) - You're using spinners the wrong way, the end of a spinner should not land on a important sound. Important sounds should always be clicked by the player.
01:23:388 (2,1) - Better blanket
01:24:988 (2,3) - Maybe do something like http://puu.sh/tHnox/821fca5845.jpg
01:25:788 (4) - Move to x:339 y:142 to better emphasize the vocals. Use larger gaps in the jumps when the vocals starts to get higher and more strong.
01:26:588 (6,7) - Move 6 on top of 7
01:30:188 (4) - Here you're using a sliderend on a important note in the song, end the slider on a red tick or a earlier white tick and put a circle on the important sound in the song.
01:39:788 (1,2) - Maybe add alittle more spacing there.
01:39:788 (1,2) - These overlaps looks ugly.
01:46:188 (6) - NC and end on red tick and put something on the white tick.
01:50:588 (2,3) - Would add a kickslider instead
01:51:388 (4,5) - Stack 4 on top of 5
01:52:588 (7) - NC
01:55:788 (6,7) - This also looks pretty ugly, consider putting 7 on the end of 6.
01:56:588 (7) - This looks lazy too, there's tons of stuff you could do here instead of a repeat slider.
02:07:388 (4,5) - Better blanket
02:14:988 (1) - End spinner on 02:18:188 instead
02:23:388 (1,2,3) - http://puu.sh/tHoy8/08699a9506.jpg Do this instead, you will hear that it sounds alot better. And that's because blue ticks sounds off sync with the song. (also end 3 on a white tick when you do this).
02:54:188 (2,3) - This is the hardest thing on your map, not joking. I would put them alot more closer together.
02:56:588 (6) - NC
03:38:988 (4) - NC
03:50:988 (1) - This should just be a slider instead of a long repeat
04:07:788 (2) - Remove and put 2 sliders there instead.
04:12:588 (6) - NC

There's alot of stuff that reaccurs here and there but anyways, great first map and feel free to add me in-game if u want me to test your future maps.

Icicle Tokamak
comes from m4m q, nice song
[general]
some patterns should not exist in Normal diff, for they are not friendly to newcomers. read next part for details.
[Normal]
FIRST of all, ctrl+shift+A and tick"Check Distance Snap". fix those note which snaps too far or too close
Slider speed better not change
------------------
00:09:388 (3,1) - i guess this kind of overlaping should not appear in normal diff
00:20:188 (2,3) - sounds not fitting the vocal...just sugget, make it better to fit the vocal. For example add a circle here 00:21:388 (4) -
00:31:788 (6) - for normal diff players, it's kinda hard to read. simply dont overlap it or change it into a slider would help
00:34:188 (3) - in most occassions 1/4 objects should not appear in normal diff. but consider its BPM that may not be a big issue. you decide.
↑another thing that dont overlap here

00:52:988 (2) - this patten is too hard compared to upper one. sliders like this 00:49:788 (7) - would be better. The reason why this one is much harder is under the 1/4 slider is a cricle instead of another slider, so it's harder to read and judge
01:15:388 (3,4) -same
01:25:188 (3) - overlap
01:49:388 (1,2,3,4,5) - too hard
02:56:588 (5) - i suggest here should be a slider
03:38:188 (3,4,5,6) - may be hard for reading
04:19:788 - ~04:42:188 - break time is too long D: very very few cricles will sovle the problem.
For example 04:22:988 (1) - circle here, 04:29:388 (1) - slider here 04:30:188 - tick here and 04:30:988 - end here, 04:31:788 (2) - circle here 04:35:788 (1) - circle
04:51:988 (2) - hard i think
05:37:388 - from here i suggest add some long sliders too make an end. just suggest ;w;
[Arigatou]
00:53:788 (5) - delete the circle and add a slider here 00:53:388 - (end here 00:53:788 - )
01:23:788 (1,2,3) - feeling a little wried...try not stack the circle under the slider?
01:52:388 (6) - change into slider and ends here01:52:788 -
wait i find timeline numbers always end with -88<ignore this owo
02:10:188 (8) - better here add a circle
02:23:388 (1) - probably too far away?
03:24:588 (1,2,3) - ^
04:05:788 (5) - slider, ends here 04:05:788 (5) -
04:10:188 (5) - ends here 04:11:788 - (or add a circle here)
-and then break time, do same as normal diff, while make some patterns a little harder
05:04:588 (7) - ends at 05:05:788 - and add a slider 05:06:188 (8) -
05:08:988 (4) - turn it 180°
05:14:988 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - i have no idea...good pattern though, but i suggest make some tiny changes between each jump
for example, 05:15:788 (2,3) - is nearer, and 05:16:188 (4,5) - jumps farther, 05:16:588 (6,7) - jumps even farther, while each pair spins a little degree(about 10°-15°)
---------------
add a small explanation
i see that you really stress aesthetics and i see you like stacks. that's good but in some cases, in some easy maps, unnecessary stacks and overlaps will make player confused. stack in harder maps will be better for advanced players to challenge, and make some pattens changing symmetrically is another way to achieve aesthetics.
well i kown i got too uncare on this ;w;
done here!
