I watched few anime during my childhood: Meitantei Conan, Dai-Guard and Fruits Basket, all aired on Cartoon Network in my native language. There is also Pokémon but I was not aware it was an anime at this time.
I really liked Dai-Guard, those mechas were badass. I bought the DVDs later on.

Where there's mecha, there's me. I only played Super Robot Wars Alpha on the PS1. Can't find any of them anymore in my place.Oinari-sama wrote:

Chou Denji Machine Voltes V (known as "Voltes V" here). I remember getting really pumped up waiting for the show.
