Zombies:Axe for close combat, an sniper(long range), recurve bow(silent-er) and and fire. Gruesome, but fire can burn muscles, I doubt zombie can move if they're charred... So molotov cocktails/traps could work.*
That's disconsidering the risk for us humans too. They could go at the wrong time, wrong place, also I'm not the best person for dexterity... meh

I don't think a recurve bow would be a good weapon, hard to be accurate, not good at piercing skulls and a thin arrows shaft probably wouldn't be good at destroying the brain.
I would use a silenced H&K MP5 for the primary, using 9mm ammo that is light, has low recoil, commonly found, and enough stopping power to reliably kill zombies with headshots. The slow velocity 9mm is much better silenced than high velocity armour piercing rounds such as the ones used in the mp7, p90, and assault rifles.

For a zombie apocalypse, I have a few choices here.
For long ranged, it would be either a sling shot or a boomerang (reality-wise, I do have experience, and have used these tools before).
As for short ranged, it'd be the classiccrowbar. This'll probably be my main weapon for killing a zombie or two though.
