Hello, my 'biggest roast' from my queue :D
Still, these are minor things cuz this map is awesome

Extreme

  1. 00:50:910 (3,1) - Spacing here is a bit too big - its x5,27. Make it smaller just as you did in 00:56:491 (3,1) - or 01:07:654 (3,1) - its the same thing and there is x4,50. Sure
  2. You can adjust spacing here 00:54:747 (1,2,3,4,5) - to x0,30 as you did previously with short streams and sliders. Oh yeah that first one's off a tiny bit.
  3. 01:30:241 (3,1) - Stack it as you did previously K
  4. 01:43:236 - What about this sound on blue line? Circle with strong hitsound like this should work here. Not putting the note there deliberately cause I like the way the score screen comes up on that impact.

Aaaand thats all i could find after 2 hours of watching this. GL!

hi there on request and i kinda blackmailed him into modding something else of mine haHAA

[General]
- Consider using soft sampleset for the intro 00:02:771 - 00:22:654 - , using normal sampleset overshadows the actual sounds being followed and soft just fits with the lack of substance the song has there better for me. There's also a lack of hitsounding for the intro as well, no whistles/drums or anything. There are things in the song you can follow and I would recommend giving that a shot
- sheela's diff has inconsistent tags, check those out
- Consider renaming Normal to Easy and Advanced to Normal (mainly cuz I hate "Advanced"s and the density increase is appropriate for Easy/Normal)

[Advanced]
- 00:58:584 (1) - Ideally all borders of a slider should be visible on low diffs. Would recommend something like this to be safe.

[sheela's Hard]
- 00:19:166 (4,1) - Stacked doubles create weird blankets, would blanket around 4 rather than 5.
- 01:35:038 (2,3) - Hmm, there's a lot of emphasis on 01:35:561 - in the song that these two sliders overlook firstly by being the same slider exactly and secondly by having the second one end on that beat. What I would suggest is having the 2 be a reverse instead so that you can put a circle on 01:35:561 - to get the snare clickable. Seeing as 01:36:608 (2,3,4) - is all clickable I think it might be cool to have some of the same sounds clickable earlier on too. // 01:40:619 (2,3) -

Otherwise pretty solid Hard, liked the slider shapes. o/

[apple's Insane]
- 00:58:584 (1) - This is a bit edgy for a double repeat, I don't think the majority of players will be able to read the second one seeing as how the slider prior to it covers it a bit. Would move this away or something to be more readable.

[Expert]
Custom diffname where? :(

- 00:44:544 (8,1) - This spacing may be a bit excessive, especially since the slider doesn't appear until 00:44:195 (4) - where the stream is nearly over so it could be unexpected. Coupled with the low spacing of the stream overall having a jump like that takes a real toll on the player. Perhaps spacing like this may be less harsh but still appropriate?

Something personal but slightly offputting is the lack of any unique sliders in this diff other than 01:18:468 (1,2) - which are used twice. It's a wub song! Super weird sliders would fit really well imo and perhaps you should try to use some? If not it's.. okay I guess, but kinda disappointing that's all.

Coupled with the low spacing of the stream overall having a jump like that takes a real toll on the player. Perhaps spacing like this may be less harsh but still appropriate? Ok. You could probably do with just giving a DS value rather than me having to guess through counting the boxes on a screenshot lol

All of my slider shape decisions are based completely off of movement. I value movement more than making something that's trying to be a certain kind of map because movement's physical, it's something you feel and can make something as uncreative as this when it comes to slider shapes a lot more engaging to play. Those condensed circle shaped ones play more like regular circles but that you'd have to hold as opposed to regular kick sliders which have the property of changing the direction of momentum in play. This created the effect I wanted for the pitch changes in the wubs so I used them. I don't and never will do super weird shit for the sake of being super weird. Being more complex with movement is a more convenient when the elements your working with are simple. It's like trying to construct a building with bricks that have simple manageable shapes that fit together vs trying to construct a building with each brick being a work of construction on it's own. Granted if there is more complex wubs that require me to use weirder designs then I will but for me personally this song doesn't have those. (Stuff I'd do more weird shit on for context)

i'm not really sure what you mean with double-repeat? its just a 1/3 reverse and i dont really see anything overlapping the arrow or smth
also all my pattern like this had stack before (even other 1/3 at 00:57:189 (1) - ) so i dont think theres any reading problem here tbh
the approach circle of (1) + nc pattern should hint the longer reverse very easily already

thanks tho!

issue is it's more than one reverse unlike 00:57:189 (1) - is that one doesn't really need to be moved, but 00:58:584 (1) - has the second reverse 00:58:817 - for like a split-second and could be unexpected to read. 00:57:189 (1) - is also nc'd so your point about that is kinda moot but uh yeah i would recommend not relying on a splitsecond for readability :?

ah i understand what you mean now. i can understand your point but i dont think it's feasible to change the current one. i dont think any visual/spacing changes would make any reading difference given your argument (also, one is curved and one isnt) so that'd mean it'd have to use a different rhythm which would utilize 1/3 tapping (which i want to stay away from, bc i never used that in this diff before)

also, i think anyone who can actually play this difficulty shouldve obtained this skill from generic hard diffs already
00:44:980 (1) - 00:53:352 (4) - 01:09:747 (1) - 01:28:236 (2) - are practically the same, but with 1/4 (i know its not really the same but its same concept)
plus, this song is more technical than other generic songs. one should already expect such strange rhythms and its kinda inevitable with a song like this

if you really think it hinders playability i hope you can give me some suggestions bc i cant come up with any that work for me atm

@Mir: 00:19:515 (1) - the slider appears after 5 shows up while 4 disappears, so blanketing an object that is not on screen when the slider has not appeared yet looks bad imo.

also fixed all from the other mods too thx!

First bubble of July August oh boy.

Metadata: https://soundcloud.com/culprate/diablo-vip

Talked on Discord.

Lowered AR of Easy/Normal, talked about some of the stacks in Easy. Reasoning for stack:

Decided it would ruin contrast if removed and happens once in the kiai so is able to figure out when it comes if you retry the map. Wouldn't say it's unfair since there's also a slider underneath it which is OD0 so you basically can't miss.

took a quick look

wish u made the 00:23:701 (1) - super sv here more predictable in some way

like having subtle changes in sv at like 00:11:143 (1) - and another subtle buildup of sv at 00:20:910 (1) - to show "hello song changing means sv changing" so that the Super SV isnt so death

and other diffs in desperate need of silent slider slide at the beginning

top
00:13:933 (1) - snapping

apple
00:13:933 (1) - forgot the soft samplekset on body
00:43:410 (1) - low volume is appropriate for top diff, but should be higher here since ur not going for the same stream buildup effect
00:23:352 (5) - 00:24:747 (3) - 01:42:538 (1) - might wanna go with soft sampelset on tails cuz quiet song + normal sampleset 3/4 extensions ew
01:08:352 (1,2) - should probably go with 1/3 like 00:57:189 (1) - since they're the same thingggg

sheela
00:24:747 (2) - same as apple (though i guess you'd want to go with volume change like 00:23:352 (4) - )
00:58:584 (2) - is there a reason ur using different snapping from the insanes

get a rebub then ill qualify

Fixed everything. The hitsounds are all done by me so I changed those. Got rid of the volume decreases on sheela's diff too cause he's mapping a different pattern. 00:41:840 (1) -

All that's left for you boys is these

[apple]
  1. 01:08:352 (1,2) - should probably go with 1/3 like 00:57:189 (1) - since they're the same thingggg
