Yeah it's basically pazudora with a Taiko skin and rules that involve rhythm together with puzzle.

Just when I thought the Taiko Team couldn't get any more higher on the P&D hype train :P

Doesn't seem there's any puzzling going on so far.
The main gameplay is nothing like PAD for one

tetsutaro
Random Rokodo much

inb4 the golden rule of Bahamut (pending trademark): no one cares about decade-old classic franchises gets the PazuDora style card RPG treatment

ONLY MY NOTE is 6☆ ref Gumin's frontrunning http://www.plurk.com/p/k5bmag
crystalsuicune
Of course they won't care much,Bahamut's pretty much bought out by Madhead when it comes to mobile games.
I though you should have known this by now, being a *~regular~* and all that.

Me?
Never liked that place much.Reading the comments section whenever PAD news shows up just gives me nothing but headaches.

And of course by cares I mean [redacted for the minors]

Also more info: it is actually more of a Peggle thing (refusing to name the devil's disciple Pa(ry
You have some mini-Dons on the drum, when you hit the drum they will be blasted up
After hitting the pins and such, the pockets with mini-Dons dropped in can attack and such.

Three colored special pins:
Blue - makes the mini-Don into mini-Mekadon = higher attack
Green - makes skill balls
Red - makes recovery balls

Sigh... ura...

Alriiiiight, finally I graduated, so I'm able to check the maps you've sent 15 days ago tetsutaro. Haha

But I have some questions about the Futsuus. E.g.:
Houou Tenbu Mugen Kuzure and D's Adventure Note 7* Futsuu

How would you guys value these...? They seem to be pretty hard. Mugen Kuzure Futsuu for example looks like an easy Muzukashii.
Any opinion?
crystalsuicune
They're authentic maps, guess we can't change the diff ratings ourselves

I passed Angel Halo on my first try, too.
tetsutaro
@aqua fixed TT post: PMXY Anime and you missed Enmei Chiryou
It also points out a problem for this layout: twice in a row someone not catch a song

@Ono: Etoubeam bj4
It's a complex song so of course its diffs are harder.
Now with Donkama and Yuugen, I guess it is firmly established that The only indication a Futsuu label should give is that it is easier than the Muzukashii of the same song, not necessarily comparable to other songs. That's the star rating's job.

Again, don't give new people Donkama or Yuugen, despite what I said about going straight to the hard K/Fs. They are not just hard, they are crazy.
OnosakiHito
Alright.

And we have new audio rips! Starting with...

Also, hi there Rokodo! Have you found that arcade in England?

No, I was in Tokyo for a few weeks on holiday.
tetsutaro
Speaking of AC0 in England (or lack thereof), do we follow @taiko_team and rename AC0M Intl to Asia?

aquabluu
I'm not very sure actually. In the very unlikely event it gets released outside of Asia we'd have to rename it again lol

YAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSS

Time to Dine still sounds like nothing more but generic boss battle music,ah well
Lokamp
On a better quality this boss tune now feels more like a spiritual prequel to that LABO THECHNO song of Pop'n 19. Which is good in my book!
tetsutaro
Fixes Taikai no Orochi update: it is immediate +3 levels to Don-chan
なお、なかまモンスターのレベルはQRコードを読み込んだ時点のどんちゃんのレベルより“+3されたレベル”で加入する。

Wat

Labo techno's a lot more quirky and maniacal than the boss-song style Time to Dine's having

It's too slow and doesn't give off the tense feeling of every other boss song ever made on Taiko. Just disappointing.
crystalsuicune
Hikari no Kanate He is infinity times more memorable and it's technically not even the boss battle song

Same goes with frickin Ware wa Muteki no Dokon Dan

^ hence the 'prequel'

Don't get me wrong- I still find it quite dull compared to the other boss themes, but all the small, quirky sound effects in-between the main melodies remind me of Labo Techno's cure to details as well, just at a different pace...

What is sounding pretty atrocious though is Oresama Pirates. If you hear the short preview in the songlist video, it sounds exactly like Ikasama Pirates's chorus, just with deeper tones. For cryin'out loud, 4piece-JazzPanic was a non-sequel more original than literally playing the same song back and call it 'completely new'!

You're arguing with a production team who treats a BPM change of an existing song as a new song
*coughHayasaitamacough*coughKiSai200cough*coughKAGYUKIYOcough*
Lokamp
Hey, these don't count

I'm upset just because this is the 1st time I happen to encounter a brand new copy/paste NO since I started be a more dedicated Taiko player, haha (which for me is about the time of Taiko Wii 3's release). I tend to look back as the 'already-digressed-stuff-by-more-experienced-taiko-players' stuff

Dokadoka has a zillion mini BPM changes, at least that's what it looks like from here. I'll wait until after street date for wikihouse to put up the chart

EDIT: Theme song is awesome why is there no Ura like Kimi to Hibiku orzzz

I'll look for those three then. Any more?
Lokamp
If nobody submitted the Taiko Oni of Calculator, DEBSTEP! and Nightmare Survivor, I made those! (uh, also PRF)

I just need to replace the crappy mp3 of the 3rd and 4th ones, but I'll need some help with the re-setting of everything...
