^ this. Namco chooses the winning songs, but alters them a bit to fit with Taiko. Kinda like those Megaman boss design submissions.

^ Neither Wii U nor PS Vita are viable enough for Taiko yet; both are doing terrible in the Japanese market (with the Wii U even worse off than Vita).

Outdated as it is, that's another possibility since Wii5 sold exceptionally well compared to the previous three Wii Taikos, it's the first Wii Taiko to break 500k, and simultaneously with Taiko 3DS too. (that would make me very happy again for another year but impeding progress and whatnot so idk)

Also I used to be able to semi-easily complete revival drumrolls even on Oni too
Perhaps the revival drumroll difficulty is also adjustable by the operator?
(Even when you are only halfway through the final meat at count zero it still counts successful lol)

It's not adjustable; it's only available after the first song. If you failed the 3rd song before the 4th begins, you get booted out instantly.tetsutaro wrote:

...okay I'm not very sure, but it's once per play only pre-Taiko 0. The number of hits needed corresponds to the difficulty of the chart. I forgot the exact algorithm.
I remember losing a credit after failing Mori no Kumasan Ura as the first song lol
