There is no best DPI. It's just personal preference. But the recommended ones are around 400-1500.
I'm using 1000dpi at 1920x1080, try from this one and make it lower or higer, depending on your needs/space on your mousepad etc.
1100 is fine if it feels fine.
High dpi means less hand movement in relation to cursor travel distance but less room for error.
Low dpi means more hand movement in relation to cursor travel distance but more room for error.
I used 1620 on a res of 1440 x 900

About 0.5 - 2 times their vertical resolution is pretty common among players. With a resolution of 1920 * 1080 the range would be 540 - 2080 dpi. If you get used to high and low sensitivities, it is better for you to decide what suits you best. You never know if a higher or lower sensitivity would be better if you never got used to it.
