#modreqs, hi.

[General]
  1. You can disable the countdown if you want.
  2. OD 9 on the Insane seems like overkill. I recommend a nerf to at most 8.5 considering it isn't an extra.
  3. Your Hard difficulty is 3.73*, I think it's justified to call it a Light Insane.
    1. AR 6 on the Hard is a little bit hard to read considering this BPM and the rhythm density you mapped. I recommend changing it to AR7.
    2. You need a difficulty in the 2.5-3* range because your Hard difficulty is ruining the spread of your mapset.
  4. Slider tick rate should really be consistent through all difficulties, thus you should make [Koi] slider tick rate 2, or decrease all tick rates to 1.

[]

Koi
[ Insane]
  1. 00:00:178 (1) - Fiddle with this red anchor to get a smoother curve, this is triggering beyond belief. https://mir.s-ul.eu/bTnay0VK or something similar. Same for other difficulties.
  2. 00:04:355 (1,2) - Why NC here when you didn't do it before? I don't want this to be an NC mod, but some of your NCs are inconsistent on all difficulties like the one I just pointed out, also is there a reason for such short combos such as 00:09:291 (1,2) - you can remove the NC at 00:10:051 (1) - and have it be it's own combo if you'd like. 01:09:861 (1) - is inconsistent with 01:11:380 (1) etc. But yeah, just.. check them.
  3. 00:12:329 (6) - Again with the wave sliders, do what I said above to fix this. 01:07:772 (4) - as well.
  4. 00:16:696 (3) - Skips the really noticeable piano on 00:16:886 - and that plays really weird. I recommend circle on 00:16:696 - and 1/2 slider on 00:16:886 - to get both sounds. You do it in the other difficulties and in this difficulty too 00:19:734 (3) - for example.
  5. 00:23:627 (2) - There's no sound here so why is there a triple here? This isn't the only place with made-up triples too: 00:39:576 (2) -
  6. 00:24:671 - Noticeable sound here that could be mapped.
  7. 00:32:646 (2) - This reverse slider is inconsistent, since you never use one for this anywhere else, you always used 00:28:848 (3,4,5).
  8. 00:34:734 (1,2) - I think this would work better as a slider since the vocal is held and it wouldn't make the jump to 00:34:924 (2,3) - so awkward.
  9. 00:41:950 (5) - Two 1/2 sliders could work to close the awkward gap between 00:41:950 (5,1) - and make this part play more fluidly.
  10. 00:43:848 (1,1) - Make the first slider different somehow because you condition the player to think that the following 3/4 sliders will play like that first 1/2 slider since they're the same shape. It will definitely cause misreading.
  11. 00:57:329 (2,1) - Use an approach circle please. https://mir.s-ul.eu/KhMK5BFr
  12. 01:00:557 (2) - Um, this seems really misreadable, since usually 1/4 sliders are not that long, and it's also only a double reverse. I would recommend making it either a stream (since you use streams in the map already I don't see why not here) or make the slider velocity slower.
  13. 01:21:348 - Really noticeable note being skipped here, and since you're mapping to the 1/4 sound with 01:21:064 (2) - I recommend covering this note too. Same for 01:22:867 - etc.
  14. 01:27:709 (2,3,4,5) - Why are these and 01:29:228 (2,3,4) - done differently for the same sounds? For the second one you even skip 01:29:513 - which you had before. I recommend using the first rhythm.

Hard
[ Hard]
  1. Generally, this "Hard" has a lot of streams, I think you should nerf them a bit if you intend on keeping this as a Hard.
  2. 00:00:178 (1,1) - You could blanket these better imo.
  3. 00:02:741 (4) - This is overmapped, no sound here, and since this hard is already high SR, I think you should remove it.
  4. 00:16:696 (1,2,3) - This rhythm works better I think: https://mir.s-ul.eu/2CODO8LU since you tap the vocal, change direction on the reverse, and you only have to hold for the duration of the vocal. Just whatever you do here make it consistent with 00:19:355 (7,1,2,3) cuz even now it isn't.
  5. 00:18:405 (3) - Possible NC here due to downbeat.
  6. 00:35:114 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - A seven note stream on a Hard is pushing it. I think you should nerf this. Same with 01:19:450 (5,6,7,8,9,10).
  7. 00:53:342 (1,2,1,2) - With the AR you have this would be really hard to read I think. I'm sure you can make this more readable with different and more intuitive spacing, same with other instances.

Normal
[ Normal]
  1. 00:26:000 (3,4) - I feel like you should keep the rhythm consistent with 00:12:329 (1,2) - since it's the same sound and the polarity actually plays better here.
  2. 00:21:443 (1,2,3) - Three stacked taps is a little bit straining on new players I feel, mainly because their accuracy isn't good to begin with and reading stacks for new players is always something they have to get used to, so I would avoid stacking THIS many notes. 00:52:203 (2,3,4) - especially since it's 1/2.
  3. 00:28:469 - You skip this note all of a sudden when you've been mapping it until this point. Why?
  4. 01:02:456 (4,5,6) - 01:05:494 (1,2,3,4) - Completely inconsistent when the sounds are literally the same. I recommend choosing a rhythm and sticking with it for these two parts.
  5. 01:15:937 (1,4) - I recommend avoiding this blue-tick slider. Try this instead https://mir.s-ul.eu/btsFrj42 since blue-tick active notes are risky on normal difficulties.

Easy
[ Easy]
  1. 00:18:405 (1,2) - Should be consistent in rhythm to 00:15:367 (1,2).
  2. 00:21:443 (1,1) - Avoidable overlap, looks unsightly if I'm honest.
  3. 00:45:747 (1) - Pretty sure this spinner and its recovery time is too short. Rule of thumb is 4 beats on an easy, especially one of this low star rating. I recommend removing this spinner and using a long slider or something like you have been.
  4. The entire kiai is mapped with less density than the non-kiai parts. This makes absolutely no sense. You should map the kiai with more density than elsewhere.
    1. You used really long sliders for the kiai, but the rest of the map is much higher in density and intensity, compare 00:48:785 (1,1) - to 01:23:722 (1,2,3), much higher density, but the first is in the kiai. I don't get it.
    2. 01:13:089 (1,1,1) - This feels like very lazy mapping to be honest. Spinner-spamming this clearly mappable section just feels wrong, especially in the kiai.

Needs a lot of polishing in my opinion.

  6. 00:24:671 - Noticeable sound here that could be mapped. I guess it's fine
  7. 00:32:646 (2) - This reverse slider is inconsistent, since you never use one for this anywhere else, you always used 00:28:848 (3,4,5). Fixed
  8. 00:34:734 (1,2) - I think this would work better as a slider since the vocal is held and it wouldn't make the jump to 00:34:924 (2,3) - so awkward. Fixed

  11. 00:57:329 (2,1) - Use an approach circle please. https://mir.s-ul.eu/KhMK5BFr Re-"blanketed"
  12. 01:00:557 (2) - Um, this seems really misreadable, since usually 1/4 sliders are not that long, and it's also only a double reverse. I would recommend making it either a stream (since you use streams in the map already I don't see why not here) or make the slider velocity slower. Changed slider vel. to 1 instead
  13. 01:21:348 - Really noticeable note being skipped here, and since you're mapping to the 1/4 sound with 01:21:064 (2) - I recommend covering this note too. Same for 01:22:867 - etc. There are two layers of guitar in that part and the guitar sounds I mapped to is the higher-pitched one, that's why I decided to stick to an easier pattern like this.
  14. 01:27:709 (2,3,4,5) - Why are these and 01:29:228 (2,3,4) - done differently for the same sounds? For the second one you even skip 01:29:513 - which you had before. I recommend using the first rhythm. I was kinda trying to map to both the violin and the snare and it turned out like this. I'll keep it like that as it's not confusing nor unreadable imo.

Hard
[ Hard]
  1. Generally, this "Hard" has a lot of streams, I think you should nerf them a bit if you intend on keeping this as a Hard.
  2. 00:00:178 (1,1) - You could blanket these better imo. Re-"blanketed"
  3. 00:02:741 (4) - This is overmapped, no sound here, and since this hard is already high SR, I think you should remove it. Deleted
  4. 00:16:696 (1,2,3) - This rhythm works better I think: https://mir.s-ul.eu/2CODO8LU since you tap the vocal, change direction on the reverse, and you only have to hold for the duration of the vocal. Just whatever you do here make it consistent with 00:19:355 (7,1,2,3) cuz even now it isn't. Changed to note+slider instead.
  5. 00:18:405 (3) - Possible NC here due to downbeat. Applied NC on next note
  6. 00:35:114 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - A seven note stream on a Hard is pushing it. I think you should nerf this. Same with 01:19:450 (5,6,7,8,9,10). First stream changed, last one is not.
  7. 00:53:342 (1,2,1,2) - With the AR you have this would be really hard to read I think. I'm sure you can make this more readable with different and more intuitive spacing, same with other instances. Reduced spacing

  4. 01:02:456 (4,5,6) - 01:05:494 (1,2,3,4) - Completely inconsistent when the sounds are literally the same. I recommend choosing a rhythm and sticking with it for these two parts. It's kinda different from the first one is with 2 claps, and the second is with 3 claps which in a musical sense they serve different purposes to bring anticipation to the listener. I could have mapped all 4 beats in the last bar but i thought it would be too demanding for Normal players so I just sticked with one note per bar. I'll see if anyone else complain about this and determine if it needs to be changed or not.
  5. 01:15:937 (1,4) - I recommend avoiding this blue-tick slider. Try this instead https://mir.s-ul.eu/btsFrj42 since blue-tick active notes are risky on normal difficulties. I guess you meant 01:29:323 (4) - , fixed.

Needs a lot of polishing in my opinion. Yeah you're probably true, seems like 2011 mapping knowledge doesn't apply any more huh ;(
Mir, thanks a lot for your modding!

Koi

00:52:583 (3,1) - blanket this?
00:54:671 - this is unnecessary.. just put circle that is enough :)
01:06:823 - same as above ^
01:31:981 - this slider not supposed to end here cuz there is no sound.. if you pu 25% you can hear more clearly ..
end the slider here 01:32:076 -

Hard

00:13:659 - something wrong here.. you supposed tu start your slider here 00:13:848 -
then this 00:13:279 - to a reverse slider intead

after you fixed that dont just leave it like that .. rearraged it so it has good flow :)
00:25:621 (4,5) - blanket this?
00:26:570 (6,1,1,2,3,4,5) - this is weird timing lol
-- try do it like this instead
00:48:215 - stream supposed to start here .. try fixing it
01:31:981 - same like Koi diff .. supposed to end here 01:32:076 -

00:52:583 (3,1) - blanket this? Nope. It's put in relation to 00:51:823 (1) -
00:54:671 - this is unnecessary.. just put circle that is enough :) There is an obvious emphasised clap in the song, that's why I mapped it like that.

01:31:981 - this slider not supposed to end here cuz there is no sound.. if you pu 25% you can hear more clearly ..
