Since you are still a beginner you need to improve yourself.
Just look at other people's map, who are experienced with mapping and try to learn how to use these patterns.
You can also watch some youtube videos explaining some mapping mechanics.

00:13:085 (3,4) - increase DS, the distance between slider and note could be more big than note and note.
00:16:857 (1,2,3,1,2,3) - make them symmetrical with x-axis,will looks more neat
00:19:257 (2,3) - so close, pls always take attention on that the DS fit the rhythm.
01:17:800 (3) - no sound here,this overmap feels so strange,remove it.
01:25:085 (4,1) - these too close, Usually we add a little distance to distinguish between the two bars.
01:58:342 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3) - i dont think these fit the music, indeed i could clear here the vocal
at 01:58:514, the rest part just like the resonance of it.
02:09:314 (1,2,3,4) - same ^
02:13:257 (6,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - dont think should stay here and keep circling
02:33:142 (3) - dont get the point why reverse slider here

I can see u used a lot of patterns, but some times they are not fit well.make sure use them in right time, dont forget u are mapping the music.
And the distance problem is that whole map kinda random, we decrease DS when music soft, increase when intense, and use 1 kind DS when it constant.
Add hitsound, learn and try, or u never imoprove.

Your first couple suggestions I didn't follow exactly to keep good flow, but nevertheless made changes.

Also the slider took so long to do because I suck at sliders :P

nice song and for a new mapper this isnt all that bad really! ill give a general overview of stuff then get into things that dont fall under those categories.

general:

first use the AIMod to do some things that need to be done right away, like snapping objects.

second get some custom combo colors ! you can find them in song setup > colours. make them go with the background, since thats what theyre there for ^w^

next, a lot of ur sliders have some odd shapes. like this 00:01:771 (1) - could be easily fixed to something like https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/7026322 just by moving the anchors around a little. it goes a long way just by making every slider look nice. thats what makes the map as a whole fun to play : )

i didnt notice this before but theres no kiai! you need to use kiai to show where the biggest and best parts of the song are. get to it by using the timing and control points box, and selecing the Style tab. since u have a lot of timing points already u might have to work around some of them to make your kiais on point.

also, volume with ur hitsounds (whenever u do them) is important too. lower and raising the volume when the song is louder/softer make the map have a more professional feel to it so i recommend it! (and also its needed for rank too)

another big thing i saw was a lot of unnecessary small/large spacing. like here 01:19:600 (4,5) - theres no real reason for it to be this big since the vocals nor the beats are big here
and with small spacing, most of all the beginning section of the map seems too close, because all of a sudden at the drop of the song, the jumps get super big and its very sudden. so rather make the big jumps smaller or space the beginning stuff out more to make it more predictable

ok now for the dif:

00:17:542 (1,2,1,2) - 00:29:885 (1,2,1,2) - 00:31:257 (1,2,1,2) - having perfect stacking on any of these 4 slider things is sometimes confusing, so move them apart a little
00:21:657 (1) - dont make a new combo, and there are no beats here 00:22:000 (1) - so just but a single circle after the last repeat slider and make it be the (7) of that combo
00:40:171 (1,2,3,4) - maybe space these out more than the previous 1,2,3,4 jumps since the buildup is growing
00:41:542 (1,2,3,4) - here too
00:47:028 (1,2,3) - instead of just having these 3 sliders, have some notes after them like this and having them stack on the sliderends. it goes with the song and looks good too
00:56:457 - 00:57:142 - missing beats here, just simply putting a circle somewhere in the flow of the current setup will do
00:58:000 (1,2,3) - same thing here as before
01:11:028 (1,2,3,4) - on this theres a 1/8 spam, so doing something like a 1/8th repeat slider would be better. so if u were to do this you'd have to remake the stream
01:12:400 (3,4,5) - thats some pretty high SV. i think 2.5, maybe 3 should be ok
01:17:200 (1,2) - cute
01:30:142 (4,5) - stacked weird, make them smoother
01:32:285 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - you can use the distance snap tool to make streams the same distance apart and you should use it on this and any stream u want to make.
01:33:400 (6,7,8) - theres no beats here for this so delete it and make the transition to the next slider smoother
01:37:942 (2) - what to heck is this slider
01:54:571 (1,1) - dont make these new combo, just go with the old combo
01:55:257 (1) - theres no roll here, just do a circle in stead and keep it going with the old combo
01:58:342 (1,1,1) - same thing here with what i said towards the beginning of the mod. also no new combos are needed
02:09:314 (1,1,1) - ^
02:22:342 (1,2,3,4) - same thing here with what i said towards beginning of the mod with the 1/8th stream
02:34:000 (1,1) - this overlapping is a nono. makes it difficult to read and just not fun to play ;w;

Thanks for the input, really appreciated! Updated my beatmap with the changes recommended in your mod (not all however, some I could justify, although some things may be because I'm too lazy right now xd)

00:00:400 (1,1) - I would try to fiddle with the first slider so that the curve blankets properly around the next slider. Giving a good first impression with maps as long as this will help you in the long run.
00:05:885 (1,1) - Visibility is pretty bad with the second slider coming in just as the last one fades out, I would try to end the first slider about 1/1 shorter and add a hitcircle in the 1/1 gap left behind so the player has a better opportunity to react.
00:11:028 (1) - Rotate this slider a little bit clockwise so it blankets around 00:10:342 (2,3,4) - a little better
00:42:914 (1,2,3,4,5) - Personally I think these should be the same spacing as 00:43:342 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - as there isn't really that buildup to warrant the spacing change. I would also try to improve the visual flow of the stream a little more.
00:52:342 (3,2,4,2) - These don't really need to be 1/4 sliders, they work better with the music as regular hitcircles.

Honestly, there's a lot more I could talk about but I think I can summarize most of what i'm missing right here:

The map's biggest problem is the inconsistency and overcomplexified between slider design. There are tons of sliders that have 2 or more anchor points where all it accomplishes is making the entire map visually inconsistent and well, not very pretty to look at. I think 00:44:628 (2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - is one of the biggest offenders of this kind of thing. Is there any reason sliders this short need to have that many curves? Another prime offender that I mentioned earlier were 01:33:657 (1,3) - which actually, now that I look at them closely, I'm fairly sure these are unrankable since the slider balls are vibrating back and forth for a fraction of a second.

    01:32:285 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - this stream is kinda ugly xd, give it a more aesthetic look
    02:22:342 (1,2,3,4) - same as before, 1/8 kickslider, also that stream could look better
    02:33:142 (2,3) - these arent perfectly aligned on a straight line fix pls

-as nice as those patterns look i dont think SV multipliers above 2.00 are allowed either so watch out for that too

00:17:542 (1,2,1,2) - Put them on the same level, because it's hard to read that mapping with 1/4 sliders. Or just put them a bit higher.
00:24:400 (1,2,3,4,1) - Overlap
01:17:542 - Put here a 2x slider velocity point, and make a better heart. It won't be a huge difference in reading, but it will look more prettier. You can do much better than I did.
02:52:857 - This should be the end of this slider. You'll need some time listening this on 25% speed
03:38:800 (2) - You can put this higher, to make a stack with next combo slider. This way you can avoid weird overlapping going here.

  1. I feel like the hitsounds are bit too loud in the beginning
  2. 00:00:400 (1,1) - fix blanket
  3. Mostly visual things I found here, I'm gonna give examples instead of listing all of each thing. First is that blanket above, a lot of places to fix, such as 00:12:228 (5,6) - 01:02:800 (2,3) - 02:13:771 (2,3) - and so on.
  4. Another one is triangles, I'm not gonna force you to do them but when you have almost done it but it's not perfect that's when you should finish it. For example 00:49:257 (2,3,4) - 00:50:457 (2,3,4) - 00:52:514 (1,2,3) -
  5. Some miscellaneous visual things like 00:13:771 (3,1) - need to be addressed too, like the blanket is okay but the visual distance isn't stable and it doesn't look too good. You can see how 00:13:771 (3) - is closer to 00:14:114 (1) - from the other end. Other misc thing, recycle more slider shapes, you have a lot of little random looking sliders which you sure use again but it feels like only for sec. You could reduce the amount and then use similar shapes for all similar things in the music. It will make it look more neat.
  6. As I said playability is mostly cool, but one thing came pretty quickly to mind when playing. Those kickslider patterns you use here a lot. They are little inconsistent. Sometimes they all have their own space like 00:16:171 (1,2,3,4) - sometimes these spaced ones have clear pattern in them like the one before, but 00:23:028 (1,2,3,4) - for example doesn't really follow any. Then there are these partly stacked ones like 00:17:542 (1,2,1,2) - and finally ones where you use longer kickslider for part of it like 00:18:914 (1,2,1) - Variation is cool, but I couldn't grasp any underlying motive according to which you change them, so it just felt little random instead. Playability-wise then especially stacked vs non stacked was confusing at times. It's especially important in cases like this when the sounds you map are relatively quiet so the player can't really comprehend too much by himself
