    Other than that, there's nothing else I was able to spot on this diff.

    Also, the kiai parts are a bit too crowded, especially when compared to the parts before and after the kiai-time.

On the request of zeeeq themself, here's the Kantan mod!

3x's Kantan:
00:25:053 (40,41,42,43,44) – It’s kind of weird having triplets mapping similar parts to this before, then having this being mapped this way. I think if you deleted 43 and put a don in front of 44 (new 43), it’d be better.
00:29:424 – I think having a don here would be good.
00:31:411 (52) – I think this sounds better as a don.
00:36:179 (61) – I think this sounds better as a kat.
00:39:358 (67) – I think this should be deleted, it sounds better.
00:39:755 (68,69,70,71,72,73) – This part’s kind of weird to me. Whether that’s me used to the long slider here or not, mapping it like this with the kiai off is not… different enough, I guess. This looks like something that’d belong in the kiai. Does that make sense? I think it’s better with 00:40:947 (70) – deleted. It seems more different to me, and I like it.
00:42:934 – Why is this different from 00:30:219 -? I understand the need to differentiate, but you could probably get away with repeating it all here because it’s Kantan, and newer players need repetition.
00:54:656 (96) – Having this on a 1/2 tick is offsetting for newer players. It could mess them up and because of the high BPM, it’s overall not a good idea (imo).
01:20:086 (141) – It’s the same case here.
01:21:080 – You could get away with this part, so this is only a suggestion, but I think a spinner would work reeeeally well here.
Sorry if all my suggestions are bad, I'm waaay more used to Futsuu mapping/modding haha :P :)

and actually no vocals or instruments or important sounds which we should follow, so giving a break is not a bad idea tho

About HP is for new rules in BNG and Ranking Criteria ... Because the difficulties are the easiest it has been decided to put the HP higher (between 7 and 9) depending on the length of the song.

in OD possibly change to 3, but by default is 4 in kantan (same situation about RC)

Yes, I realize that. As pointed out before, the offset and sv's were changed, screwing everything up. We're working on it, don't worry :)

Like a Kantan could be HP 8 but OD 2. I think this is because the notes are easier to hit, so it's more unforgiving? Regardless, I think it's okay.

• fix this slider please 00:39:755 - . aware with the tail of the slider. it overlaps with another notes yep, the problem before is fixed now, so i can do it now

• move 00:44:921 - to 00:44:126 - and change to be kat. reason is same like the previous one same reasons, same changes

I would also like to inform people that the SV / Offset change problem was really an misunderstanding on my part, and I got extremely confused because I remembered things wrong :'D i'm sorry zeeeq

I changed the problems in my difficulty from the sliders and all, fixed the preview point as zeeeq said on the other mod:

And I deleted the 2 timing points I had that were no longer necessary.

I encourage all the Taiko GDers to look at their difficulties, apply any mods they haven't seen yet (if any), and update their map without the unnecessary timing points.

However, this does bring me to a question: do we want to add different SV's to our difficulties? I'm for it, but I think we all should agree on it and apply it to all difficulties for consistency.
Also, I think we should do some volume changes as well. It could add more intensity on the kiai and afterwards.

I am such an idiot, haha

00:04:788 (1) - this sounds really out of place, I don't even know what you are following it sounds off to even be following the guitar riff.
00:06:378 (5) - this one too, you don't do long sliders like these anywhere else in the map it just sounds really inconsistent.
00:33:795 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - Since you started following the vocals you should continue that, move 00:36:576 (1) to 00:36:378 , move 00:38:563 (5) over to 00:38:762 and remove 00:39:159 (6) then add a note at 00:38:563 do the same thing at 01:13:729
00:51:874 (6) - remove this and move 00:51:278 (5) - to 00:51:477 and add a note at 00:51:278

I played the first 2 Kiai's without dashing at all, this being a kiai there should be a couple dashes in both.

From my lazy ctb queue, I'm sorry it took me so long to get to your map. Winter holidays had me depressed and then I procrastinated. If you have any other ctb maps, I'll look at those too to try to make up for my laziness. (rip, there may have been updates since i did mod offline)

General

HP isn't a consistent spread. I would recommend it be 3 for Cup, 4 for Salad and 5 for Platter just so it is consistent.

Difficulty ending times are not consistent. Specifically, the CTB mapping in general is a bit short compared to the Taiko diffs. There's a long line of build-up that could be mapped that isn't and it's a bit disappointing. It would be more interesting if you could map until 01:27:437 and match the Taiko diffs.

00:52:470 – The spinner here in all ctb diffs and then the break makes no sense to me when you can map to the vocal. This is a short song, so it's best to map the most you can out of it. Especially when there's some intense build up or drum and vocal where the spinner is. I would recommend at least trying to map that.

There's issues with very long combos that exceed the rankable limit according to ranking criteria. One way to fix this is to must put a new combo at every large white tick / main beat. In Cup, combo limit is 8 objects including slider ends and repeats. Salad is 10 objects including slider ends and repeats. Platter is 12 objects including slider ends and repeats.


Cup

Use consistent distances. You started out with 1.50x as your walking distance but then change it as you go? I'll give a couple examples below and then maybe you can self check throughout the diff:

00:03:199 (3,4,1) - ^ Like I said, you started out with 1.50x and then it's noticeable on (1) you're using 1.40x because the player expects some kind of emphasis there. Perhaps use 1.60x or just use the distance snap of 1.50x as you did before.

00:07:967 (1,2,3,4) – The distance change is noticeable on (3) and (4). Try to make it 1.50x like before to keep consistentcy.

Unrankable issues (I may not point out all instances you do this since there's a lot of repeated issues):

00:11:146 (1,2,3,4) – The spacing to (1) is almost a dash and very intimidating to new players. I'd reduce distance quite a bit. However, what makes this unrankable is that this is anti-flow. Why? Because anti-flow is very difficult for a new player to adjust to. The same for (3), this slider is anti-flow and needs to be flipped so the flow is easy to read.

00:18:696 (2,3) – Anti-flow here. It would be better if (2,3) were to the left of slider (1) to the slider is easier for a new player to adjust to.

00:21:874 (2,3) - ^Antiflow again. Maybe make (3) a straight horizontal slider and flow into the next note.

00:46:113 (5,1) - ^Antiflow. Perhaps Ctrl + H on 00:46:510 (1,2) – and put back on X=184 and it will roughly fix the antiflow. Although, it almost is a dash so it concerns me whether you should reduce distance even more after that.


Salad

The antiflow things I pointed out in Cup apply for Salad because Salads are for players beginning to learn dashes and to help the general feel of the map.

00:02:404 (2,3,4) – Put (4) were (2) is so the distance is consistent. It's easier for the player to adjust to.

00:03:994 (6,7,8) - ^Same thing but with (6) and (8).

00:12:338 (3,4) – Anti-flow dashes are unrankable in Salads because they are difficulty to adjust direction for new players.

01:02:603 (2,3) – There's nothing against it in the RC but ½ dashes at AR 6 are a bit condense and hard to read. I don't recommend having them but it's your choice if you wanna remove them or not.

01:14:325 (3,1) – Anti-flow dash again, also the dash is pretty large so I recommend reducing the distance as well.


Platter

Like the previous diffs, be careful with anti-flow.

00:04:391 (5,6) – I feel like there should be a better dash here to accentuate the guitar. Move (5) to X=272 and then Ctrl+H on (6) and put on X=80.

00:06:974 (5,6,1) – Unrankable because you have to dash to catch the hyper. Platters are introductary to hyperdashes, so combining them with dashes is difficulty for those learning hyperdashes. Move (5) to X=256 and it will eliminate the dash.

00:07:768 (1,2,3) – Try to make this plate walkable. This feels very awkward to dash through and it reads as a platewalk to the player.

00:31:013 (3,4,5) – Get rid of the dash between (3) and (4) and this will be fine.

00:38:960 (4,5) – Hypers into antiflow are unrankable. Rotate (5) to the left and you'll be good.

01:06:775 (1) – Please put a new combo here, this following stream is WAY passed combo limit.

01:07:272 (6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17) – The distance snap of this stream feels really awkward and you have to dash through the stream to catch everything. You shouldn't have to dash through this to catch everything. 1.40x to 1.50x is a good distance to use when I remapped and tested it and I suggest you do the same.
