Mandela Effect. Many of you heard of it probbably these days on several platforms. But for people who dont know what that is; I have googled it through and here is a quote of a wiki page:

The Mandela effect is the belief that certain disagreements between one's memories and the real world are caused by oneself having been teleported to an alternate universe where things turned out slightly differently.
The Mandela effect hypothesis relies on many untestable or difficult-to-test assumptions. On the other hand, the phenomenon of human memory being unreliable is well-documented and researched.
Ok,at normally I wouldnt even bother myself for googling things like that. But after seeing several pictures on my Facebook main Page; I was like "What the hell? No way, wrong!"

This website contains some examples of it.More examples can be found on different sites :P

SPOILER
Ok so; I remember there being a dash in Kit Kat.I REMEMBER it.But now if I go buy a Kit Kat right now; that dash will magically disappear.Right? -.-

“Magic mirror on the wall.” I wont complain this tbh because I didnt actually watch it.But the turkish translation was also "Mirror mirror on the wall".So this isnt anymore my fault :P

EXCUSE ME??? Ok,I know that after the new seasons of Pokemon; the cap and look of Ash became different. The shapes of the pokemons also got changed a little bit.And if I would now start to watch pokemon new seasons; I would say that: "the black mark of Pikachu"s tail got removed".But wtf,it actually never existed?? Not even on the 1st-2nd seasons?? No fuckin way!

What makes this more weird is; we know those products, images, songs for so long time and it feels like we are all being trolled.Or maybe we are all just careless people who doesnt concantrate things correctly :P
Have you guys more examples of these type of things? Or same type of things on your country? :D

The Berenst(a/e)in Bears' spelling sticks out to me. For the record, I always remembered it with an A, not an E.

...like in the case of the "mirror mirror on the wall example", is just spread around as popular belief because of I assume someone a while back spreading this word around most likely by accident.
Yeah, this is probably what happened with movie quotes like "Play it again, Sam" and "Luke, I am your father." The real quotes are (off the top of my head) "Play it, Sam; play 'As Time Goes By'" and "No, I am your father."

I think there might be one more reason

Someone creates a meme or a weird fantasy and spreads it around. And somehow the spread goes all over the goverment.

Not only that. When people hear out the rumor by too many people despite they disagree it; It becomes a subconscious information to the brain because we want to psychologically adept to the social area.

For example; when I was a kid, there was a tv kids show and everybody says that there was an episode that a kid was raging to the game controller and started to insult live on TV "Fuck this controller.Fuck anyone else on Turkey".I dont remember that episode but I somehow know or feel like that I actually saw it but forgot it.But the truth is; even the presenter of the show was on a talk show a few years ago and said that something like that never happened. He himself was also surprised when that nonexisting rumor was spreaded to 50% of Turkey. He even did an announcment on the talking show and said: "If anyone finds a source of it; I will buy that person a luxury Mercedes Car" :D

So maybe things like these happen because; people can actually manage to unwantingly lie theirselves
