A big thank you to everyone who helped get this ranked in time!!

Hard
00:30:467 (8,9) - I personally don't like the way this plays because you make the player switch directions on a weak note. I suggest stacking 8 on 9.
00:36:410 (1, 2) - I suggest ctrl+g on these sldiers separately because with the curved slider before this, you're forcing the player to move counter-clockwise, and then shift back on a weak note.
00:40:372 (9,10,11,12) - It's not because of the overlap, I kinda like it, but 7 and 8 due to the bumps in the middle are slower than usual sliders, so the direction they're playing will be a little more strict. I suggest Making the stream curve down instead of up so it plays better. It could also blanket 8.

For Normal and Easy aiMod is complaining about some snapping issues. I suggest you check them out.

Hard was the only diff I could mod, so when you mod my map choose one diff.

Hello, M4M from #modreqs

[Easy]
There's nothing really wrong I could find with this diff but there's a couple of DS issues stated by AiMod:

  1. 00:47:731 (2) - Add a clap to the sliderhead.
  2. 00:52:259 (2) - ^
  3. 00:54:523 (1) - Add a clap
  4. 00:56:787 (1) - This is the only slider in the difficulty that has the slider-whistle. If this wasn't intended could you please remove this.

[Normal]
Again, more DS issues stated by AiMod that you might want to fix:

  1. 00:23:674 (2,3) - I don't like how this doesn't flow with the direction of the previous slider, I'd recommend moving it down so it's in flow so it doesn't make the flow in this Normal overcomplicated than what it should be.
  2. 00:52:259 (3) - Add a clap to sliderhead.
  3. 00:54:523 (1) - ^
  4. 01:05:844 (1) - I think this spinner is a bit too short to be on a Normal diff, try and extend it to somewhere where it fits or map this part because I don't think there's enough bonus points that this spinner gives.
  5. 01:12:636 (1) - Clap on sliderhead
  6. 01:23:391 (4) - Remove this slider-whistle if it's intended because I've noticed that there's more than one. However, there's no fitting sound for this to be placed here.

[Advanced]

  1. 00:51:127 (3) - Clap on sliderend.
  2. 01:09:240 (3) - ^

    Couldn't find anything else wrong.

[Hard]
I think that this whole NC patterning in this diff could be reduced to only one measure, not two. It just makes the map look a little more neater because sometimes the combo numbers get pretty high.

  1. 00:52:259 (6) - Clap on sliderhead
  2. 00:54:523 (1) - ^

Again couldn't find anything wrong :o

Nice map, good luck~

00:30:467 (8,9) - I personally don't like the way this plays because you make the player switch directions on a weak note. I suggest stacking 8 on 9. :arrow:It's supposed to do that; it's a jump.
00:36:410 (1, 2) - I suggest ctrl+g on these sldiers separately because with the curved slider before this, you're forcing the player to move counter-clockwise, and then shift back on a weak note. :arrow:I don't like what it does to 00:36:976 (2,3) if I do that.
:arrow:Good suggestion. Done.

For Normal and Easy aiMod is complaining about some snapping issues. I suggest you check them out. :arrow:Ill look at them in the next mod.

Hard was the only diff I could mod, so when you mod my map choose one diff. :arrow:Oops.

:arrow:I don't know why it's saying that. They are distance snapped properly.

  1. 00:47:731 (2) - Add a clap to the sliderhead. :arrow:o shit u right
  2. 00:52:259 (2) - ^ :arrow:k

Again, more DS issues stated by AiMod that you might want to fix:
:arrow:Some were actually not snapped. Fixed those.

  1. 00:23:674 (2,3) - I don't like how this doesn't flow with the direction of the previous slider, I'd recommend moving it down so it's in flow so it doesn't make the flow in this Normal overcomplicated than what it should be. :arrow:Sorry its a style thing.
  2. 00:52:259 (3) - Add a clap to sliderhead. :arrow:k
  3. 00:54:523 (1) - ^ :arrow:k
  4. 01:05:844 (1) - I think this spinner is a bit too short to be on a Normal diff, try and extend it to somewhere where it fits or map this part because I don't think there's enough bonus points that this spinner gives. :arrow:Removed.
  5. 01:12:636 (1) - Clap on sliderhead :arrow:k
  6. 01:23:391 (4) - Remove this slider-whistle if it's intended because I've noticed that there's more than one. However, there's no fitting sound for this to be placed here.Purposeful to accommodate the strong rhythm

[Advanced]

  1. 00:51:127 (3) - Clap on sliderend. :arrow:k
  2. 01:09:240 (3) - ^ :arrow:k

Couldn't find anything else wrong. :arrow:k

[Hard]
I think that this whole NC patterning in this diff could be reduced to only one measure, not two. It just makes the map look a little more neater because sometimes the combo numbers get pretty high. :arrow:Purposeful. Supposed to be challenging.

  1. 00:52:259 (6) - Clap on sliderhead :arrow:k
  2. 00:54:523 (1) - ^ :arrow:Nothing to put it to so no

Again couldn't find anything wrong :o:arrow:noice

Nice map, good luck~

Hello! M4M t/520098

[Hard]
  1. 00:05:561 (3,5) - overlap really needed here?
  2. 00:21:127 (7,8,9,10,1) - maybe so? https://puu.sh/svW5j.png https://puu.sh/svW9a.png
    1. 00:21:127 (7,10) - Or to remove overlap.
  3. 00:27:353 (1) - I think so plays nicer. https://puu.sh/svWgy.png
  4. 00:57:636 (8) - Move to flow had an angle of 90* https://puu.sh/svWpt.png
  5. 01:08:674 (2,5) - overlap to remove maybe...
  6. 01:26:787 (4,5,6) - Move to flow change https://puu.sh/svWBL.png

[Advanced]
  1. 00:07:825 (7,8) - My feeling here is very necessary "return slider"
  2. 00:17:165 (7) - I don't like stopping it confuses, and then I think here unreasonable. You can make "return slider"
  3. 00:21:693 - ^

I like christmas holiday song. Good luck with rank! ;)

  3. 00:27:353 (1) - I think so plays nicer. https://puu.sh/svWgy.png :arrow:It does, but that slider shape is not really my style at all.
  4. 00:57:636 (8) - Move to flow had an angle of 90* https://puu.sh/svWpt.png :arrow:It's unsnapped then.
  5. 01:08:674 (2,5) - overlap to remove maybe... :arrow:I think I fixed?
  6. 01:26:787 (4,5,6) - Move to flow change https://puu.sh/svWBL.png :arrow:Fixed.

I felt the note was too minor to map in advanced, because 1/2 patterns would have gone too long, something that is too hard for advanced players.
  3. 00:21:693 - ^^

check ai mod and fix those ds errors D: !

00:09:240 (1,2) - why not some symmetry here ?

01:12:636 (1) - why NC ?
same like in easy, check ai mod and fix those ds errors

00:14:900 (2,3) - could be blanket better if you make 3 curved

01:05:844 (1,2,3) - could be centered
00:23:957 (3,4) - i'm sure you can make that blanket better :3
00:05:561 (3,5) - why not stack ?

00:15:750 (6) - maybe NC

sry for small mod,but i really cant find any rhyhtm or flow things, hope it was still a very little helpful~

omg I'm fr about to make a krunk ass trap remix of this shit yo
00:04:712 (1) - loosen these curves please *twerks* no but fr I think this slider looks really "sharp" I think it'd look better to loosen the curves a bit
00:14:900 (2,3) - please move 3 up. This looks really ugly because 2 contradicts the flow and look of 3. Look at how 00:11:504 (2,1) - are placed vs. these
00:16:033 (3,1) - lmao people are going to stab you for not blanketing these properly
00:21:693 (3,2) - stack pleeeease daddy
00:26:221 (2,1) - please watch your curves if you keep throwin that ass in a circle you finna get hooooes ;w;w; no but fr same issue as I mentioned before
00:29:617 (2,1) - idk how to really fix it but I don't like how this looks ;v actually after looking at it it look okay what am I doing

00:38:674 (2,3) - ;w;w;w; same ig
01:10:372 (1,1) - aesthetics pls
01:14:900 (3,1) - why go that way with 3 then make them go to 1 that isn't in 3's path of play
01:25:089 (4,1) - ya see now you're going it but like reverse. 1 is cool af but it look bad because it doesn't follow 4-1's path of play. It's like I said earlier about the slider curves with note-slider paths
01:28:485 (2,1) - y tho ^
01:28:485 (2,4) - stack pls

[Normal]
00:10:372 (2,4) - Put these on the same Y coord please <3 you were so close
00:19:995 (3,4) - stop omg move 4 to the left so as not to contradict flow
00:26:787 (6,1) - you might as well keep on stacking the patterns boi -w- move 1 left so as not to contradict flow
I'm done pointing this out because I'm literally about to cry from anger because not everybody is as "perfectionist" as I am
01:05:844 (1,2,3) - straight line pls?
01:12:636 (1,3) - srsly not going to stack these smh pls stack
01:30:750 (1,2,3) - I find it quite odd that this is the only 1/1 stack in the entire map?

00:19:995 (5,6) - Can you please make these the same angle
00:28:485 (4,5,6,7,8,9) - O SHIT BOII IS THAT SYMMETRY AYYYY LMAO
00:34:146 (6,7) - loosen the curve to blanket 7 better :o
00:47:872 (1,1) - Even for a Hard, this seems just a tad bit too.. Hard ;w; The 1/2 spacing, I mean

hey whats up my man here to do a m4m from mod reqs, heres my map

[General]

looks hot

[Easy]

00:00:184 (1) - 00:03:014 - may be a better spot to end it because 1) more recovery is always good for an easy, even if this is in the rankable limit, and 2) some drums start here

00:49:995 (1,2) - ew, why hitsound the sliderticks? its not necessary because 00:55:089 - and 00:56:221 - are being skipped anyway

01:05:844 (1,1) - you have an enitre 4 beats of recovery here but for the first spinner you had 2 lol, this isn't a problem if you fix the the first one to be 3 like i pointed out

01:10:372 (1) - yea pls no hitsound sliderticks

nice

[Normal]

00:12:353 (5) - prev 1.11 next 1.00 fix ya DS

00:21:693 (5) - is this supposed to have clap?

01:34:429 - no sound here, this doesnt need to be a reverse slider it can just be a 1/1

nice

[Advanced]

00:13:485 - id expect a note here, i understand why youd want to not have it (break) but this is like a pretty intense part with the drums and all so i think it should be filled up. maybe theres another spot you can leave a note out, like 00:08:391 -

00:19:429 (3,5) - these aren't parallel - https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/6677919

00:48:014 (1) - I don't really think this should be a spinner lol, there's not much recovery for the player after (its only a normal pretty much) and the music is kinda intense so having it as a spinner is underwhelming

00:58:485 (7) - since this the drums, i think they should be the circles, not 00:57:919 (5,6) to match the music. so make 00:57:919 (5,6) - into a 1/2 slider and 00:58:485 (7) - into circles

this map is really pretty, well done!

[Hard]

I think you should NC every measure, mostly because I think seeing double digit numbers on circles is really ugly

00:11:504 (7) - not liking this extended slider mostly due to the drum at 00:11:787 - which is part of this drum section that's rising in intensity

00:17:165 (10,11,12) - this is 1/6, I suggest making it into a reverse slider. A 1/4 triplet definitely does not fit.
00:26:221 (10,11,12) - ^

00:33:014 (3) - forgot to silence the tail

00:34:146 (6,7,8) - if you could make the blankets equal on both sides (like symmetry kinda, while keeping the wave shape) it would be neater and this would look pretty cool

00:44:900 (7,8,9,10) - I really like how you represented the jingling my car keys sound with the 5 notes here, it's technically overmapped but I think it fits well.

00:47:872 (1) - same thing i said in the advanced pretty much, i prefer this to be mapped out.

00:49:995 (1) - silence

This song makes me feel really happy for some reason, I like it a lot. Great set as usual, good luck!

00:48:014 (1) - I don't really think this should be a spinner lol, there's not much recovery for the player after (its only a normal pretty much) and the music is kinda intense so having it as a spinner is underwhelming :arrow:ZThe bpm is barely 100, so the one beat recovery time is actually pretty decent. Also, spinner is a good way to capture a build up.

00:58:485 (7) - since this the drums, i think they should be the circles, not 00:57:919 (5,6) to match the music. so make 00:57:919 (5,6) - into a 1/2 slider and 00:58:485 (7) - into circles :arrow:Good idea.

this map is really pretty, well done!Ilyyyyy

[Hard]

I think you should NC every measure, mostly because I think seeing double digit numbers on circles is really ugly :arrow:I disagree. I wanted this to be more challenging, and I think since the HP is so low, it's okay to not give as much.

00:11:504 (7) - not liking this extended slider mostly due to the drum at 00:11:787 - which is part of this drum section that's rising in intensity :arrow:I think it's okay.

00:17:165 (10,11,12) - this is 1/6, I suggest making it into a reverse slider. A 1/4 triplet definitely does not fit. :arrow:Im keeping this because I feel having cute little jolly triplets and duplets don't go along with a 1/6 slider. It's too quick, hard mode players won't know how to play such a short slider. This could lead to lots of combo and slider breaks. 1/6 slider would not be consistent and honestly is a bit more advanced than a hard mode.
00:26:221 (10,11,12) - ^^

00:33:014 (3) - forgot to silence the tail :arrow:Good catch boi

00:34:146 (6,7,8) - if you could make the blankets equal on both sides (like symmetry kinda, while keeping the wave shape) it would be neater and this would look pretty cool :arrow:I think thats as good as it's gonna get : /

00:44:900 (7,8,9,10) - I really like how you represented the jingling my car keys sound with the 5 notes here, it's technically overmapped but I think it fits well. :arrow:8DDDDDD

00:47:872 (1) - same thing i said in the advanced pretty much, i prefer this to be mapped out. :arrow:See above

00:49:995 (1) - silence :arrow:good catch

This song makes me feel really happy for some reason, I like it a lot. Great set as usual, good luck!
ITS BECAUSE ITS CHRISTMASSYYYY

Thank you very much; updated.

[Easy]

This diff is extremely repetetive rhythmically (due to only using 2/1-gaps and sliders) and will be boring to play even for newbies. Since you start using 1/2 in Normal already I highly recommend you to add some clickable 1/1 into this diff, or remove it alltogether since it's not needed for the spread. If you decide to remove it, you can rename Normal,Advanced,Hard to Easy,Normal,Hard for more related difficulty names.

Also, please get rid of the claps on slider ticks. The difficulty is build on 2/1 so following every 5th snare with a clap slider tick hitsound doesn't make much sense. It makes the hitsounding sound pretty weird, overall.

[Normal]

01:31:316 (2,3) - This stack feels kind of random since otherwise you have just used 1/2-stacks and there is nothing special in the music here calling for a stack. Maybe you can do something like this instead? https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/6685827 Or anything else that's just spaced out, really.

[Advanced]

Seems fine.

[Hard]

00:05:561 (3,5) - Did you intend to stack these perfectly? Just like you did for the rest of the map.
00:13:768 (1,2) - Quite a weird aesthetic, considering these difficulties are mapped so smoothly otherwise. Maybe you could do something like this instead? https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/6686210 Or keep the curved slider and rearrange the pattern that follows afterwards.
00:27:353 (1,2) - Same here. What about this? https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/6686216
00:28:485 (4,5,6,7,8,9,10) - Neat symmetry pattern here, I love it! ♥
00:31:316 (10,11,12,1) - A stream of five notes would feel better here, since the drums are equally emphasized on each beat. Currently you are missing out on this drum 00:31:457 -
00:40:372 (9,10,11,12,1) - This stream feels odd to play. In the editor I get that you are trying to follow the bell sounds, but they are much faster than this stream so it's hard to tell ingame what the stream is following. Imo it would be better to use a fast repeat slider here, for example on 1/8 snap, or ignore the bell sounds and map to something else.
00:44:900 (7,8,9,10,1) - Same here.
00:58:485 (10,11) - Could you STRL+G these rhythm-wise? It feels a bit off to have 00:59:051 - not clickable. Placement suggestion if you want: https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/6686243

Cute mapset! The song is very charming :3 Normal-Hard are well mapped, the purpose of Easy as it is currently mapped is a bit questionable, as I explained above. Good luck and feel free to ask me for a recheck once you think this is ready!

00:05:561 (3,5) - Did you intend to stack these perfectly? Just like you did for the rest of the map. :arrow:I did not. I prefer it isn't so it's easier to read.

Maybe you could do something like this instead? https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/6686210 Or keep the curved slider and rearrange the pattern that follows afterwards. :arrow:I like this better. Considering my style is so flat, anywhere I can jazz it up and add dimension I will.
00:27:353 (1,2) - Same here. What about this? https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/6686216 :arrow:That looks too flat for me o-o

Imo it would be better to use a fast repeat slider here, for example on 1/8 snap, or ignore the bell sounds and map to something else. :arrow:I think this is okay. I spaced it like a stream, so they will most likely know how to play it. They have ample time to read it, as well, because the song is relatively slow. Plus, 1/8 would not be very consistent with the rest of the map, it's too intense, and hard players will struggle on how to play such a short slider and how long to hold it. I want to keep my patterns simple.

[Easy]
  1. 00:06:976 (2,3,1) - Maybe make the angle of this pattern a bit wider, I think it'd help make the flow even better here :)
  2. 00:45:467 (1,2) - Having so much going on in your rare 1/1 sliders in this difficulty looks a bit weird, maybe just make them simple curves instead.
  3. 01:12:070 (2,1) - Consider making these notes more linear, as having such a harsh angle with the 1/1 notes so together looks a bit crowded :o
  4. 01:28:485 (3) - Consider flipping this horizontally so it flows out of and into of the notes around it better. Before and after~ (stuff moved on timeline for screenshot purposes)

[Normal]
  1. 00:08:108 (5) - The right half is noticeably lower than the half symmetry please :<
  2. 00:25:655 (5) - It's a bit weird that the reverse starts here rather than 00:26:221 - when the previous reverse slider like this 00:17:165 (5) - started where the piano did.
  3. 00:31:316 (7) - This isn't offscreen, though it's uncomfortably close, and touches the hit error bar. Consider raising this a bit.
  4. 00:37:259 (2) - Why is this note mapped here when it wasn't mapped in advanced? I recommend removing it. Or adding it to advanced.
  5. 00:47:448 (4) - ^

[Advanced]
  1. 00:04:712 (1) - Consider flipping this over so it flows better into 2? It could be odd to play a flow like this straight after a spinner, so making it more straightforward could make it a bit easier to get into :)
  2. 01:08:108 (1) - ^
  3. 00:40:372 (7) - Consider making this a 1/2 slider like it was in normal? :)
  4. 00:49:995 (1) - Unless it's intentional, consider making this wave more even? The start of it is quite a bit more intense than the latter half.
  5. 01:21:693 (1,2) - Why not make 1 go through closer to the middle of 2? Like how you did 00:30:184 (6,7) -
  6. 01:34:146 (6,7,8) - consider making this exactly symmetrical across the y-axis because it's so close yet so far

[Hard]
  1. 00:07:542 (8) - Why is such a strong sound being mapped as a slider end? It was even the start of a slider in advanced, and the similar sound was emphasized just a moment ago by 00:06:410 (5) - being a jump from the previous note. I believe 00:07:825 - is deserving of a circle.
  2. 00:13:768 (1,2) - Personally I think how the circle is out of the slider's path plays really awkwardly here, especially when the first a similar pattern occured at 00:04:712 (1,2) - the circle came straight out of the slider.
  3. 00:17:165 (10,11,12) - This is actually 1/6. Note that while I used circles to show how it's snapped, I recommend using a 1/6 reverse slider so that it wouldn't be confused with the 1/4. I think having it as a 1/4 triplet when the music is different from a place that is actually 1/4 like 00:15:750 (6,7,8) - is misleading. Especially when there isn't a note specifically at this 00:17:306 - time, just the continuation of the previous 1/6 piano sound. An arrangement like this should be pretty cute and not too hard to read, it'll be clear to the player to click and hold without the look of this pattern changing very much.
  4. 00:26:221 (10,11,12) - ^
  5. 00:40:372 (9,10,11,12) - Pretty sure these bells start at 00:40:231 - aa (same goes for later cases)
  6. 00:54:523 - why no clap hitsound here?
  7. 01:09:240 (4,5) - why is this not hitsounded the same as 00:51:127 (4,5) - ? the bells in the background are following the same pattern.
  8. 00:24:523 (5,6,7,8) - I personally think this should be mapped the same as how you did 00:15:467 (5,6,7,8) - . Because 5 as a slider is ending on a far stronger sound than it started on, and makes what should play as a triple be clicked as a double instead.

Overall this mapset was really nice! Very christmassy and cute!

Good luck~!

Hard:
Sometimes the stream spacings are a little bit inconsistent at the end of them. If you have problems making streams with consistent spacing throughout leading into a slider that is already there, just ctrl+g everything, remake the stream starting from the slider, and then ctrl+g again.
There are also some NC inconsistencies which I guess are not intentional.
