Well, I think you should change this map a lot. It is difficult to distinguish what happens, you follow much what the guitar does and you forget the percussion you have in the background. Remember that this is taiko, to follow vowels is good from time to time, but the taiko is a percussion instrument, it is not okay to follow the whole vowel (in this case, the guitar) Of course, do not take this personal, it's just a tip for you to get better. Thus begins and of course, there are parts where it is well mapped. Good Luck!

Following keyboards is ok, but in my opinion you followed too much. Since this mod is Taiko, you can concentrate on the drums as well.

00:07:625 (46,47) - This space is too much. May be you can add some notes which goes well with drums in 1/2. Or 1/4 too.
00:18:389 - Optional. The patterns look nice but there is a drum sound too so you can add a don here.
00:22:566 (128,129,130) - I don't recommend putting 1/3 notes unless it's in the song. And from i hear, there are no 1/3 sounds. So you need to change those to 1/4.
00:24:213 - ~ 00:30:330 - Between these two sections, either use slider because of the sustained keyboard sound or fill with some notes which are following drums. The space is too much in my opinion.
00:38:683 (224) - The keyboard sound is changing at this slider. May be removing it and as you did before, follow the keyboard to fill the gap.
00:40:683 (233,234,235,236,237) - Fill this section with 1/4 kats only because of the snare sounds.
00:44:918 (259,260,261,262,263,264,265,266,267,268,269,270,271,272,273,274,275) - At this section, the drum sounds are getting lower and lower. So i recommend make 00:44:918 (259,260) - this two and 00:45:389 (265) - this one to kat.

04:10:915 (471) - and 04:11:974 (478) - and 05:14:090 (938) - for me, placing a finisher at the beginning / end of a mono color stream from the same color is highly unplayable, I would simply remove the finishers.

  8. 00:38:800 - add some note here, feels so empty and break is strange here :arrow: you can finish with quintuple same as 00:36:917 - (it felt nice) Added some notes here (not the same way as 00:36:917 - though.
  9. 00:45:388 - I think this drum feels same as 00:31:976 - but a little shorter asdfsdfsad I'll keep this one, imo it would be too hard to play. Also the way it is now plays well with the melody.
  10. 00:51:820 (425,426,427) - make them ddk instead kkd. Feels really nice at playing / follows great drum ooo thanks.

  18. 01:36:211 - same as 00:31:976 -Well, not actually the same since it's shorter. However I did change it to a longer stream that follows the melody and covers the drums.
  19. 01:45:623 (804,805) - ctrl+g follow pitches better and makes variation from here :3 talked a bit in game and made some changes that enhances the melody between the 1/3 and also doesn't play bad

  20. 01:59:859 (96) - kat cause same pitch as 01:59:741 (95) - aaa, I put a don here first to make this part better to play (next 3 notes are 1/3 kats and the previous note is kat too. A kat here would make k k (k k k). That followed by the ddd is really weird to play) and second to follow the melody.
  21. 02:26:679 (78) - make this don so you make a difference from 02:25:268 (71) - (they haven't the same tone) I agree, changed.
Well as a general comment map is currently nice and fun so I think you should take a quick look about some patterns that doesn't follow really good ascendant / descendant rhythm and some sections that are a little undermapped/overmapped and I think it gets perfect :') thanks <3 fun and nice to play are my goals with this one!

Applied everything, but aren't some of the "pointless" timing points to reset the rhythm on the Nightcore mod beats?

The timing from before was made by Raiden, maybe you should talk to him (or I myself can do that) because it's already the 4th timing reset on this map orz.

Also about the slider it's because the ticks were too slow imo and the tick rate at 3 played well in those guitar parts but I can change it back to 1 with no problem.

Mostly I've mentioned about the pointless timing points because I don't check the Nightcore beats. But, if you care about it, there is no harm to keeping them. Since you've fixed everything, I'll check your map itself tonight or tomorrow.

More timing stuff I've noticed in actual testplay:

  1. 02:05:386 - Put a timing point and omit the barline.
  2. 02:11:737 - ^
  3. 02:53:622 - ^
  4. 03:18:798 - That part feels too off. Like, it's really weird. Following the keyboard is nice, but the notes are actually in 170 BPM 4/4, and snapping them like 255 BPM 1/6 feels wrong. They both fit rhythm-wise, but keyboard doesn't fit. Consider it changing to 170 BPM, and apply a splice timing on 03:26:717 - this part. I mean, put a 255 BPM for just that spot and revert it back to 170 BPM on 03:27:268 - this. After that spot, the keyboard is 170 BPM 1/4 at some spots, and adapting it to 255 BPM 1/3 is wrong because they're not the same. 255 BPM 1/3 is equal to 191,25 BPM, which feels pretty off. Additionally, if you want to make the measure lines appear in 255 BPM 1/3, go to the file and change the 3rd number to 2, which will make it 2/4. Here is an example for you:



    On those lines, look up the 2nd number. If they are positive, they're timing points, If they're not, they're inherited ones. Find your offset (which is 214327 right now) and change the 3rd number of it to 2.
  5. 03:34:327 - Change this one to 170 BPM as well, to 4/4.
  6. 04:12:677 - Put a timing point and omit it.
  7. 04:16:443 - ^
Call me back when you handle the unsnapped notes that will occur on the 170 BPM part, and the rest of it.

  6. 02:17:916 - How about adding a don here and 02:18:092 (298,299) - making these two kats? Will support the drums better since the last two are on snare sounds.
  7. 02:31:974 (21,22,23) - dkd fits better due to keyboard pitch. This applies on the rest of it, don't forget tho change them if you accept.
  8. 02:38:681 (81,87) - Ctrl + g on those, they're not consistent. The first section you mapped 02:36:564 (62) - this as a kat where that note is don. Make them similiar because the pitches are way prominent to put a variation there.
  9. 02:46:386 - Add a kat maybe? Snares are very loud there. Change the similiar parts as well if you accept.
  10. 02:53:975 (198,199,200) - Kats? To emphasize the higher keyboard sounds.
  11. 03:18:798 - Make this timing point's measure 2/4 so it'll fit to 255 bpm 3/4 on 02:29:622 - this spot. Change it from the file since you can't do in editor.

  19. 06:12:908 - The drums are better for a 1/4 pattern, even though they're unsnapped. Also, if you change it to flat 1/4, it'll be more readable.
  20. 06:31:142 - I think you can add some triplets starting from here, the drums are hard enough to do so.

One thing that's annoying me are the sliders at the end. 06:39:025 (207) - and 06:41:848 (234) - with the slider tick rate as 1 are hard to hit and sometimes makes you miss the following note after it. I'm thinking in changing them to simple kdddkdddk or kkddkkddkk patterns if you allow it.
