To answer to your question, no, for a 70k you're not bad at all.

It's a matter of how you like to play the game, if you choose to play more songs and not grind out that FC+S for each individual song, you're obviously going to have fewer. Remember you can FC and still get scores lower than an S :'(
A huge advantage of this game above other rhythm games is the vast song library, making it less of a grind if you want. As a result of not playing a song with sudden death on and failing repeatedly 'til I get that FC, I have comparatively few S scores as well.
Playing more, and repeating songs we've played before multiple times will get us there.

I'm 70k and I'm shit at this game, so yes.
low amount of S rank means you don't even need to play a lot of songs to reach 70k, so it's good
50S >>>>> 2000S, like me I'm bad
