Do you mean the default skin templates? Those do not use the ranking letters I posted. If you mean another template can you please send me a link because I cannot find any others on the first page.

they use the same format for the taiko hitsounds (eg. normal-hitnormal) but affixed with taiko- in the beginning (eg. taiko-normal-hitnormal) [if my memory serves me right though].

taiko-(sampleset)-hitfinish = for the big dons
taiko-(sampleset)-hitwhistle = for the big katsus

(sampleset) here refers to normal, soft, and drum samplesets.

you forgot the spinner-circle. it's used on Taiko spinners and old-style spinners (the set with background and metre, not the new-style ones).

copy your "cursormiddle" file and rename the copy one of cursormiddle to cursortrail

- There is a element named "volume-bar" & "volume-bg-effect" where i can find that's element showing in osu!? and this still skinnable?
- And what name of these three element?

How do I change the selected song font and star.png color from black? I've tried fiddling with "SongSelectActiveText:" as the wiki suggested but nothing happened at all.

I really dislike this change that was made a little while ago, specially the part about changing the stars colors too.

You have to put it under the [Colours] section, not somewhere else.

volume-bar can't be skinned. volume-bg-effect is shown when you rotate the mouse wheel or change music with the arrow keys while holding the Alt-key.

Short example and explanation on the new default sliderball. They are called sliderb, sliderb-nd, and sliderb-spec.
Sadly they only work on the default sliderball. You can apply the sliderb-nd and sliderb-spec to the default ball but you can't apply them when you have a custom sliderball for now.

You should also change SongSelectInactiveText.

Does anyone know what is the animation sequence for pippidonclear#.png?

In Custom Taiko Characters says that is: 0-1-2-3-4-5-6-5-6-5-4-3-2-1-0
but that was 5 years ago, and i think that now is: 0-1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-4-3-2-1-0 or 0-1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-3-2-1-0

Can anyone confirm?

that only applies to the sounds, not the images.

Try naming selected pictures "comboburst-0", "comboburst-1", "comboburst-2" etc. without ComboBurstRandom in skin.ini.

Im trying to have those only appear at 500 combo steps... oh well that works too i guess, a lot of blank images then. :V

Does anyone have a template that contains multi-skipped@2x.png and multi-skipped.png? None of the templates I can find have this element included and according to this thread it should be skinable I would just like to have a base resolution and original image to work with.

The problem is, when song reaches number10 or more. it appears double and it bugs ;-; and looks like: http://puu.sh/a0KIf/0bb0599f9a.jpg

How do i do to make songs dont pass the number 9, or that takes 1 again after 9..? anyone knows or it's impossible and i have to change the default numbers to hit circles?

In the skin.ini-file set "HitCircleOverlap:" found in the [Fonts] section to the max width of your default numbers or 999 if you're not sure.
You will sometimes see the 1 behind another number when reaching 10 or above but you can't do anything against that.

Judging from my own experiments I can assure that if you set it to 160 that won't happen if you scaled them right (or your width of the images, 999 was just an example).

Hello, I got a question. Is it possible to change the opacity of the play-skip button?

I edited it with Gimp. Opacity is at 100 with Transparency background but Osu! makes it barely visible.
