I'll be the first to admit that the selection this time around is pretty terrible, since it was based solely on number of favorites. Clearly this metric doesn't work at all for osu!catch, so we'll certainly be trying something a bit less inane next week.
Id like to find something obscure not Tenyo and CLSW maps. Something that it can impress of what CtB mapping could possibly be something more than just a "Minigame". All what I saw on this vote its literally dissapointingMillhioreF wrote:

Obscure maps are exactly the opposite of what the Loved category is for - maps that are very popular with the community and gain scoreboards due to high demand.Nelly wrote:

Unfortunately. it just so happens that the community on average doesn't seem to add very high-quality maps to their favorites (and it's extra bad for this CtB poll in particular since we have standard diffs skewing favorite counts) so we're far from done experimenting with different metrics and taking community feedback. Next week should already be a marked improvement if all goes well.

They should do a inverse leaderboard on Tewi Maze.

We'll be putting the voting round back up for CTB for another 48 hours with a different, more inclusive pool shortly after this poll closes. Der Wald will still go in as per the results of this vote, though!
Hopefully the second pool will have more actual favourites from the CTB community.

On a side note, can diffs be ranked separately? Not just the whole mapset. Im asking this because mixed mode beatmaps bring some issues for loved maps

Difficulties can be individually Loved within a ranked/pending beatmap set, yes.S v p e r wrote:

Being too, that alot of people are complaining they want ctb specific maps, there are alot of mixed maps.
I'd like to hope they have some system or ideas in place to help solve that issue
