I just remembered one time when I was trying to sliderart an apple and was unable to due to bezier making it impossible because all the sliderpoints ended up outside of the screen.

Support for sliderart justice.

Or you can just be like me and what I did in Rock 'n' Roll.

Make a smaller version and scale it bigger. Stuff symmetry.

I'd support this with all the votes I have but I spent them all on the Hold Note topic.

This is a fantastic idea to be honest. It would allow people to get the shapes they want for sliders very easily.

In principle, these are the same as catmull sliders. They were removed because of how bad they looked. Any automatic interpolation algorithm would look comparably awful. IMO, perfect symmetry > exotic shapes. If you can't create exotic sliders that are shaped perfectly, you're better off sticking to simpler shapes. Any sliders created in this way would be very imperfect.

Everything that has/is being said in this thread is either pointless due to reasons mm201 has already specified, or people arguing in a pointless direction. I suggest that those of you drawing sliders in paint save that paint image as a jpeg, import to your beatmap as a background then shape a bezier until you are happy. If it takes more than a minute, you need to take a lesson on how to use bezier curves (especially multi-section) or it is simply not possible to make said shape in osu!. Most likely the first one, though.

The bottom line is that I don't see the being implemented, as it is a step back in quality and perfection, without adding any value.
