1. It's a competitive skill based game that doesn't have teams. All the other games like CSGO, LoL, etc, force you to socialize and deal with annoying people all the time. Your rank in those games is kinda dependent on how lucky you are in matching with good teammates.

2. Osu has a way better community. You don't get told that you're bad and need to kill yourself on a routine basis like with other online games. People here seem a lot smarter and the good players aren't mean to new players.

3. Seemingly endless amounts of beatmaps for weeaboos

4. Extremely high skillcap. It's so insane how good people get at this game.

Watching great players get great plays, achieving something you have spent a lot time practicing, testing yourself and pushing yourself to the limits to achieve those things.

I also enjoy playing well mapped beatmaps with a great song and talking with the community.

Perhaps the fact that i recovered from my dislocated on my arm with osu?
Was quite pathetic with the recovery but osu helped.
I mean with all those hitorigoto and high score and panda jumps... You'd hope you're not recovering......

i like how Osu gives the user-friendly interface and how it's really easy to edit your Osu (drag & drop new downloaded maps to osu, edit skins, and edit maps.)

My friends suck at osu so at least i can brag to them 8-)
Also its nice to see yourself gradually improve, it gives the game a lot more of a "skill based" feel

It's nice to see that your skills have oddly improved after a 2 month break from the game

the fact that osu can still run in my low end pc

- the mapping (not mapping myself but i really enjoy some maps (in all gamemodes)). they fit the songs so well and it kinda feels nice playing many of them :O
- the competetiveness. there's so many things where you can rise. like osu standard, ctb, mania, score ranking, combined leaderboards, pp+, osu!skills, achievements, multiplayer rooms, top 50, etc.

the game pretty much let me do what I want, to play however I want the way I want. And finding new kinds of music, of course.

I like it because it challenges my abilities, and is just competitive.

I always like myself a good competition (even though I usually lose)
