- I actually do not like the combo colours you are using for this kind of BG. They do not fill it properly (especially the flashing red, it looks too pushed). The idea is to use 2 tonality of brown, a darker grey and a less flashing and opaque red (I suggest you to use 4 colours so your brown colours won't be close to each other during the gameplay):
[Colours]
Combo1 : 179,0,0
Combo2 : 179,89,0
Combo3 : 170,170,170
Combo4 : 171,88,88
- 00:05:659 (3) - I suggest you to add whistles on this slider's head and reverse arrow to keep consistency with all this part where you emphasized the instrument with whistles. According to this you should add on 00:10:204 (4) 's head as well. Same for 00:12:477 (2) and so on till here 00:18:386 (1). If you don't like this whistles spam you could use them only on higher pitches (for example on downbeats only) or to alternate it constantly or still you can do use them like the Hard diff because they are set very nicely;
- 00:43:841 (1) - I dislike this slider's shape. I would suggest this: stack the slider's head with 00:42:022 (2)'s head, move the red point on the middle of the slider to make it symmetric and move the next 00:45:204 (2) to fix the spacing and edit the 00:45:659 (3) so you can blanket it with the new placement of (2). To be short: https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/8959452 This actually improve the flow a lot!
- 00:47:477 (1) - I feel like this spinner is ending randomly because there is no sound on that downbeat. I would remove it and use a 2/1 slider that fills the vocal from here till 00:48:386 with a new combo set on it. You should really do this because the part you didn't map from 00:48:841 till 00:50:659 is actually making a very bad and ugly break. I personally think that parts before the kiai starts need to be emphasized in easiest diff to connect the two parts on the best possible way;
- 00:59:750 (2) - Is this drum whistle set on this slider's tail intentional? Because it's inconsistent with previous 00:51:568 (2,3) and 00:55:204 (1,2). Just remove the Drum addition and keep the whistle for consistency instead;
- 01:04:750 (2,3) - You can emphasize the bell sounds in the music with two default soft whistle instead of using the custom ones, same for 01:19:295 (2,3) and for next kiai times too;
- 01:31:113 (3) - This section is so long with all these 2/1 sliders, so I suggest you to use NC on this (so you will get two patterns with 2 similar elements);
- 02:09:295 (1) - Default soft finish with low volume sounds good here;
- 02:50:659 (1,2) - Switch NC here because you did the same for 02:59:750 (5,1)
- 03:07:477 (4) - Add NC to be consistent with all diffs!
- 00:05:659 (1) - till 00:18:386 (1) same of Easy. Whistles look to be used so randomly here (to be short, add them like you did for Hard diff instead);
- 00:07:477 (1) - This slider is covered by HP bar and it's too pushed upside for a Normal diff;
- 00:10:204 - This tick needs to be mapped because the 00:10:431 (2) doesn't even fill the piano sound if you listen carefully with 25% playback rate. To be consistent with previous 00:07:022 (3,1) just extend the 00:09:295 (1) by 1/1 and 00:10:431 (2) move this 1/2 later deleting the circle at 00:10:886 (3). I know you can say: "it's consistent with 00:17:704 (2,3)" but here the circle 00:17:704 (2) is filling the drum hitsound on the red tick correctly. Here, instead, there is no sound on that red tick;
- 00:24:977 (3) - This looks weird, honestly. I would use a circle here and add an 1/2 slider at 00:25:204 (4) so you can fill the instrumental and vocal properly. It's something similar with 00:31:113 (1,2,3,4) but a little different because the vocal is still low there;
- Comment: Anyways, I am kinda confused actually by the way you mapped the part from 00:18:386 (1) till 00:32:931 (1) compared to the kiai time. You mixed the mapping of vocal with instrumental one. That's not a good idea for the Normal diff. I mean, I highly suggest you to try to remap the part from 00:18:386 (1) till 00:32:931 (1) following the vocals instead so that you can map the whole song with a constant and predictable rhythm (and trust me, this is really needed for the two easiest diff of the mapset).
- 00:47:477 (1) - Same of easy here. This spinner doesn't fill this part because from the moment when it ends on that downbeat you are forced to keep the hole between the end of the spinner and the kiai's start. It would be nice to map this part with some sliders that fills the vocal how it should be;
- 01:04:750 (1) - Same of Easy diff, here and on other parts as well. Also, I would remove NC tho;
- 02:03:841 (1) - I would reduce this slider till the downbeat and add some elements starting at 02:07:022 (1) instead. It's too long and again it forced you to skip this vocal part and it's bad tbh;
- 02:22:022 - Mh.. to be consistent with the previous difficult, start mapping the part after the break from here;
- 02:37:477 (1) - Same of 01:04:750 (1)
- 02:42:022 (4) - Add new combo to fill the higher vocal pitch. Also, this combo is too long compared to other ones!
- 00:38:159 (4,1) - Why this sudden spacing jump and change of flow/trajectory? You should use the same logic you did for 00:37:250 (2,3) making a blanket between 00:38:386 (1) and 00:37:477 (3)'s head;
- 00:46:341 (2,3,4) - This sudden increasing of spacing (and pattern) with low AR is pretty hard and unconfortable to play tbh. I would change the pattern / reduce the spacing trying something else instead;
- 00:48:841 (4) - Place this slider further from (3) so you have the same spacing between (3) and next (1). Having random changes of spacing is not a good idea actually. Also, you could place it closer to (3) instead to you can emphasize the jump between (4) and next (1) but, to do so, give it the same spacing than previous (1) and (2);
- 01:30:431 (3,4,5) - This is not good for the Hard diff. I suggest you to change the 1/4 slider with 2 circles, instead;
- 02:06:568 (3,4,1) - Same than 00:48:841 (4) Please use a constant spacing. Increase it just for valid reasons and not randomly like that;
- 02:22:022 - Same of normal;
- 02:30:658 (4) - Missing clap on this slider's head;
- 02:34:749 (5) - You missed NC here on this slider, even because the spacing is increased here and there is an higher vocal pitch;
- 02:37:477 (3) - Do not cover this circle with (1). You are mapping and Hard diff, remember. This kind of stuff can be used rarely for diffs like hard/normal/easy, just keep this for Insane diffs xD;
- 02:37:704 (1) - There should not be NC for consistency with 01:04:977 (4) ;
- 02:40:204 (5) - Same of 02:34:749 (5);
- 02:59:295 (3) - This should be CTRL + G'd because it is inconsistent with the previous logic you used for 02:56:568 (1,2,3). If you do so, you could move the next circle on the left to don't break the flow, because placed there is this new change would be just unflowing and unconfortable to play;
- 00:22:022 (1,2,3) - Could you move this whole pattern some grid down? The slider (2) is actually covered by HP bar, it's ugly;
- 01:48:386 (3,4,5) - This kind of patterns are unconfortable to play. I would suggest you a replacement, for example: https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/8959900 This pattern actually looks fun to play because after the jump between 01:48:386 (3,4,5) you have to do an up->down->up cursor movement to get the pattern 01:48:841 (5,6,1). Consider to change this!
- 02:08:841 (3) - Move this circle at x: 424 y:172 to make a perfect rhombus between these elements: 02:08:159 (3,1,2,3) : http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/8959926
- 02:25:659 (1) - This slider's tail is actually covered by HP bar. Try to fix this please!
I hope this will help you to improve it. Good luck my friend and thanks again for your mod on my Loki's map!
