Hey!
M4M request from my Q!
Normal:00:16:164 (1,2) - You can improve this blanket:
http://i.imgur.com/KvByHCr.png00:18:655 (4,1) - we can improve the look of this by doing:
00:18:655 (4) - first of all, move to x:204 y:180 then
00:19:651 (5) - X:140 y:328
and last:
00:20:150 (1) - x:228 and y:264, the second anchor to x:292 y:240 and third anchor (red one) x:292 y:168, that way you get a good blanket with 00:18:655 (4) - and looks a bit better.
00:28:122 (6) - Add NC
00:29:367 (1) - Remove NC (you has been NC'ing this way for this part, dunno why you change this one)
00:28:122 (6,1) - I would blanket this
00:35:347 (4) - This is a very sharp angle you're following
http://i.imgur.com/E80iRUd.png , try something more subtle like:
http://i.imgur.com/iyNGrTC.png (also I edited 00:35:347 (1) - to have a blanket with 00:34:101 (3) - )
00:48:550 (1,2) - Blanket
00:51:042 (5,1) - Same here
00:52:038 (1,2,3) - try:
http://i.imgur.com/HBp60XX.png 00:59:014 (5,1) - blanket
http://i.imgur.com/3CRjBsN.png01:11:968 (1,2,3) - This feel really messy and kinda awkward to play because everything is so close together and the big overlap of 01:11:470 (2,3,1) - with 01:12:965 (3) - , also the changes changes weird at 01:12:716 (2,3) - , try a more "circular" approach like:
http://i.imgur.com/SSA2ABB.png 01:13:961 (1) - Thry a 1/1 slider from 01:13:961 - to 01:14:460 - and a note 01:14:709 - (I say this because right now is kinda... underwhelming with 2 big sliders, I feel it could be a bit more dynamic )
01:53:822 (4,1) - These 2 should be the other way around, first the slider, and THEN the note, to follow the voice better, you could stack 01:54:569 (2) - so you don't have to much too many
01:58:306 (1,2) - try:
http://i.imgur.com/GSscQCa.png02:14:500 (2) - Try to make these slider more "smoth" to the way you want the player to move by making a more open curve like
http://i.imgur.com/5XjdN8s.png , not only it will improve the overall look of the map by making it look cleaner, but is also better to play, and will avoid the "crowded" look some normal maps suffer from.
02:21:973 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - Fix the DS in this part, it varies from 0.9 to 0.8 back to 1.0 for no reason-
Hard:00:35:347 (4) - CTR G
00:40:080 (1,2) - While not as important as in the normal (where the look of things is very important based on how together things are) I would still try to make good blankets, for some, this is the difference between an experienced mapper's map and one that's not, and while I'm not saying "you should blanket EVERYTHING!", is still a good way to make things look better
http://i.imgur.com/jG0TN3b.pngEspecially on parts like 00:54:529 (2,3) - or 00:58:515 (1,2) -
00:57:519 (3,4) - Stack these
01:01:505 (3) - fully stack the tail with 01:00:508 (1) -
http://i.imgur.com/FbasG1Q.png01:05:989 (1,2,3,4) - in terms of music, this part is similar to 01:04:245 (1,2,3,4) - , but in 01:05:989 (1,2,3,4) - you decided to put a jump, why?
01:11:719 (2,3) - try
http://i.imgur.com/yzkVfzo.png01:15:954 (1) - Remember what I said about sliders being a more open and smooth? well this
01:22:432 (2,3,4) - move 3 to be more in ine with 2, curve 2 a bit more, and then move 4
http://i.imgur.com/Jv5ho1n.png01:51:829 (1,2,3) - The thing about flow is that, while there's no set rules on how to do them (some like sharp angles, others oval, etc etc) you still need to search for a natural feeling, you accomplish this by thinking "How do I want the player to move while keeping it natural?" , take a look at your current flow
http://i.imgur.com/wqMjgEF.png there's 1 big change of direction in 01:53:075 (3,4) - , a very crude one, now, this can be used? yes, but the question is, is there something happening in the song that makes you have this movement, try making the player have a constant movement like
http://i.imgur.com/T13Qwu1.png on parts where the song is constant, change flow when the song calls for it, change on music section, voice intensity, etc etc.
Your diff is actually nice, but it can be improved in :
-How it looks (blankets, curves, etc etc)
-Some flow changes
Try to apply what I did in that last example in some parts where you feel it could be use, there's no need to remap, because again, the diff in terms of what you're mapping and the direction is very, VERY GOOD, just that some curved sliders could be improve so the change direction is not as hars as in some parts.
Gonna stop here, as there's nothing too wrong in the rest of the map, most would be me repeating what I said, search me in game if you need more tips
Good Luck with the map <3
