like the subject says.

the MP3 could be short or as long as the actual applause MP3.

I think it could motivate me in some way. I like it.
(But I think this was requested before, or maybe I'm just mistaken)

well actually, there is a way to add an additional mp3 after finishing a map, but i don't think there is a way to add an extra mp3 if you do a full-combo play

but 1 question
why do you even need an extra applause when you do a full-combo play?

Because i thought it would be neat.

Couldn't you just merge .mp3 files with Audacity too?

Then you would have the same thing for non FC and for FC. The point is to have a second audio file run if there is an FC as a bonus.

Oh dang, I get it. Now I feel stupid.

Anyways, I wouldn't mind having the potential to add an extra 'hell yeah' when I FC something. I'm sold.

Having a different audio file playing would give way more options in terms of audiochoice imo.

But then you will have to go into audacity and layer the audio files to produce the effect OP wants, and we are just too lazy to do that
: D

So why not set the audio file for both in skin.ini?

since you have to match up the offsets of the files to achieve a good effect it doesn't really matter.
And having something entirely different played obviously gives more options.

I actually prefer this over that what the OP requested
