normal-hitnormal2 is actually never used, and is as such an unused file. I looked through the mapset for all sections with S:C2, since N:C2 didn't exist, and found that nothing is overridden to the normal sampleset within their effect. The only hitnormal being used in these sections is soft-hitnormal2.wav. Check carefully before assuming that the programs are buggy, you never know what you might've missed that the programs didn't.

    I can agree that some of them might not be used for searching, but consider at least adding the event itself. There are plenty of other songs from this event that are being mapped in osu, so being able to categorize them wouldn't hurt.

back to your mod post this is what you should post instead of unclear ( which i had no idea which sound i didnt use because i swear i did use them all but i changed halfway because of the i found easierway to sample those . and ranking criteria which i already knew about it since i start mapping in 2012 which making it more unhelpful.

drum hitwhistle -> if u just want to point out thing without solution then dont , if you can cut them , do cut for me. these dont really affect anything at all tbh if its about less than 1mb why would it matter. anyhow i would just ask if anyone knew how to do this anyway.

your mod always have unnecessary stuffs that i dont think its helpful which i think you need to improve your wording for your future modding.
get straight to the point is more helpful then tonnes of word explaining unnecessary things which dont get me anywhere
still those tags dont matter to me since it usefor searching songs which most of people would already know an= acutic notes. people dont know what is acl 007 and usually they dont search up by event to get thins song which i think making it more unnecessary.

i will check on those sampleset again ( pretty sure i already fix most of them the other day) when the next bn come

I realized earlier that I forgot to mention which file was unused, but this would be relatively easy to deduce on your own, with the use of modding assistant programs, which are useful for both mappers as well as modders. This is what I mostly use.
It will literally tell you these things.


The attitude to make the modders do all the work for you isn't good. You are the creator of the beatmap and you're the one responsible for making sure it is of high quality, both map-wise as well as file-wise. Modders will tell you what you can improve and in what way, but their purpose isn't to do it for you (unless the mapper is incapable of doing it themselves, which I don't believe you are).

Here's the cut version.

As a modder, I will point out what the issue is, why I believe it to be an issue and how the issue could be solved. Communication is vital in modding. If the mapper doesn't understand your point, they may change it in a way that isn't preferable. That's why I explain it thoroughly. I'll agree that not all things are necessary, because sometimes I'll mention something solely for the sake of checking whether it was intentional or not.

In general, if someone knows about the Ranking Criteria then it wouldn't be very likely that the beatmap in question has any unrankable issues in the first place. Quoting the RC is merely a safety precaution to avoid misunderstandings. I won't cater my mods towards whether the person mapping has been mapping since 2012 or 2016; if there is something to be addressed about the map, it will often be addressed in the same way, regardless of who the mapper is.

i didnt ask you to do everything , i said straight to the point , not questioning the problem, theres no doubt your explaination is wonderful but too much words makes people fed up , keep it simple and on point is the best way to get mutual agreement and understanding, not a long argue-seem-like replies.
i have nothin againts your modding method im just suggesting you to improve your way of delivering your mods clearer.

about the hitsound i really dont know how to cut or do anything about it thats why i asked.
hey everybody makes mistake , i think ive said already when i hitsound i changed the sample number halfway and i forgot to remove the old one. and yes that is my mistake and i think i replied like days ago why didnt u say anything until bn came and check (?) but your recent reply is so fast

since its just to ease the next bn to check and i can assure no more unrankable stuffs happening inside the mapset to the qualifier
