  1. 00:57:664 (3) - maybe wanna stack this, but this map doesn't stack neatly that much so idk
  2. 00:59:855 (3) - feel like ctrl+g would emphasize the note on the head a little bit more? also might want to ctrl+h or something for aesthetic
  3. 01:04:406 (4,1) - since these two aren't the same pitch, it would be underwhelming to stack them together. maybe try a pattern like this? http://puu.sh/s14UU/68eb82954d.jpg
  4. 01:12:832 - 80% volume sounds so loud in contrast
  5. 01:44:012 (2,3,4) - 1/4 slider + triplet would reflect the music better, since you're missing out on the sound on 01:44:097 - and it allows for the snare to be hittable
  6. 01:57:832 (3,4,5,6) - really odd rhythm choice, since there isn't any dotted rhythms or similar to emphasize in order to leave out the downbeat
  7. 02:28:001 (1) - should move NC to 02:28:338 (2) - , since you don't do this with any other repeats of this musical phrase
  8. 02:38:113 (1) - 02:39:462 (1) - 02:40:810 (1) - extending by 1/4 feels too much tbh, since you miss out on vocals.. its kinda like the thing w/ bookmark memories
  9. 02:47:215 - moe
  10. 03:07:439 (1) - maybe you could move this somewhere else like on top of 03:06:597 - so it doesn't feel like its part of the same pattern
  11. 03:35:754 (2,3) - 03:46:540 (2,3) - would be cool if you follow the dotted rhythm here, like at 01:42:495 (1,2,3) -
  12. 03:52:776 (3) - this could be a kickslider, the little 1/4 stream sounds are still fading here
  13. 04:18:394 (3,4) - this 1/2 spacing isn't repeated anywhere else, so it's kind of uncharacteristic to do this
clean collab, not much to say. gl!

01:44:012 (2,3,4) - focusing more on wubs rather than percussion tho
02:38:113 (1) - 02:39:462 (1) - 02:40:810 (1) - imo it works... mapping out vocals would kinda just be boring 1/2 spam; I feel like the long holds with the extended sliders build up tension for the incoming drop
02:47:215 - agree

everything else was fixed tyyyy
captin1
fixed the 1/2, the dotted rhythm is honestly too fucked to really follow it without just screwing rhythm in relation to the drums which i'd rather follow.

I think the intro is leaving out some signature sounds that should be mapped, it feels sorta empty without them, for example 00:02:215 - 00:04:911 - 00:07:608 - etc, I talked to you about this already but thought you'd maybe reconsider it by maybe adding a slider to the end of the triplet. I don't think it would be too similar to other sections if you made this slight change
04:04:068 - What do you think about increasing SV slighty at this point? 0.8x so you have an even increase

01:42:327 (7) - I think the movement to this note is bad and it would play nicer if you moved it to overlap with 01:41:063 (8) - instead
01:57:832 (3) - A repeat here might be closer in line for what you've been mapping, leaving the next stacked objects to follow the sound youve been mapping with sliders without mixing a drumhit in
03:52:861 - I might be mistaken here, but it sounds like there could be a circle here. I can't tell if its the reverb of the sound on the red tick or not.
Something cool I could see working is a triplet stack on a 0.5x sv section 1/2 slider with another triplet connecting http://puu.sh/sqXeK/cc2db012b4.jpg

Very well made map, the flow is really good.
Can't say I am a huge fan of maps that have an overwhelming presence of 1/4 slider pattern (mainly cuz I suck at them and find them more annoying than fun to play), but still an outstanding job at mapping this song.

useless mod is uselss

04:04:068 - i think the entrance of the synths call for more of a rhythm change rather than an sv increase since overall intensity stays relatively the same
01:42:327 (7) - tbh i dont feel a difference and your suggestion feels too spaced
01:57:832 (3) - that's how it was previously but I decided against it since the wubs have a significant drop in intensity here

i did the slider thing

03:52:861 - technically yes there could be a note to follow the fading melody notes, but the drum stops on 03:52:776 (3) - so i'd rather keep it as is to follow that

  1. 01:29:019 (1,2) - a little close? make the distance like 01:23:626 (1,2) - is good to me
  2. 01:48:064 (2,3) - swap their place or just apply ctrl+j to 01:48:233 (3) - makes better flow to 01:48:401 (4) - i think
  3. 02:51:266 (1) - remove body whistle?
  4. 03:06:941 (2,3,4) - is triangle and you can make another one with 03:06:435 (3,1,1) - by moving 03:07:446 (1) - to around 128/188 illuminati
  5. 04:38:457 (1) - such a strong beat with repeat slider is kinda underwhelming to me, how about make them streams?

the release date of new astral aria was postponed to January :sob:
good luck!!

did everything but 04:38:457 (1); i don't want to introduce 1/6 so late into the map and i think the emphasis is fine anyways since everything else in the bg fades out

thanks moko (´・◡・`)

what's with this diff name? lol
01:25:648 (4) - the jump here seems a bit excessive for what the music sounds here, could move it down a bit?
04:26:660 (8,3) - is there a better way to avoid this overlap lol? doesnt seem intended here.
05:07:615 (2) - isnt this kinda overmapped.
u cud also find a higher res bg, but thats up to u whether u wana bother with it or not.

uh, cud u find like 1 more mod. my rule of thumb is 4 other mods.
also give metadata

call me back afterwards
captin1
