00:24:024 (24024|2) - i would recommend something like this https://puu.sh/yU04G/5e833192fd.png so there is clear distinction between the actual melody u map and the bell sound effect, this also looks nicer imo
00:25:111 - this should be 3 notes to emphasize the crash since this is the last diff
00:28:372 (28372|2) - there is only simple hi-hat in this particular part, i suggest to change it like before :3
00:31:633 (31633|1,31633|0) - this could be 3 notes since there is crash or bell in it
00:31:850 (31850|0,31850|1) - only suggestion, but i would love to see this being moved to the right side so it becomes jack, fits the song rather than trill :')
00:44:676 (44676|1) - this piano ln would be lovely if it's extended to 00:45:111 - since u mapped the piano sound at least 1 or 1,5 ln beat long before
00:56:633 - i would suggest to add |3| in this note to fill this empty part for hihat sound, this is quite audible sound and should be mapped at least on the lunatic
00:57:502 - and also this one at |2| if applied
00:58:589 - ^
01:44:242 - mapping here is different from here 00:31:307 - even though it's the same sound, i would suggest to keep the snap (like the blue line 1/4 i marked) but the note amount can be different if u want to emphasize the 2nd part to be harder

    SV usage is not recommended on Normal diff, this diff is supposed to be a learning diff for players to time their hit on a mostly 1/2 snap and a little bit 1/4 variation.
  1. 00:17:720 - this 0.8x speed does nothing but decreasing the gap in between 00:17:720 to 00:18:155, plus 00:18:155 - bpm timing point will act like 1x SV changes, these speed changes will make a lot of confusion when playing. That being said, deleting that 0.8x SV is better.
  2. 00:59:024 - slowjam shouldn't yet being introduced by relatively significant slowjam, 0.8x is pretty huge, good usage for higher diff but keep in mind this is the lowest diff on this map. Consider to delete the timing point or make it 0.9x at least
  3. 03:03:372 - this timing point literally does nothing, you already on 1.0x speed, soft custom1 hitsound set and kiai is already off, delete

    the gap with Hard is surprisingly big in the opening :thinking:

    the recommended usage of sv change is the sv should be sightreadable. Like i said in Normal diff, SV should not make a confusion to interpret the length of the gap/the snap of the object. The easiest way to do this is making the SV become 1x average, that means the length of the gap between two object without SV changes and with SV in effect is the same. How do we know that the SV is already in 1x average? First lets use a simple formula based on Length = Speed*Time, with length acts as length of the gap between two objects, Speed acts as SV, Time acts as how long the SV is in effect. Lets pick the first condition for our first problem:
    00:17:720 - here you used:
  1. 00:17:720 - 1,1x speed for 1/2 beat long
  2. 00:17:937 - 0,4x speed for 1/2 beat long
  3. 00:18:155 - 1x, this acts as normalizing back the speed so we don't need to put this into the formula
    then we calculate the ratio between the length after SV is in effect to the length before SV is added. This can explains us whether the gap become shorter or longer after we add the SV changes. Now we use this formula:
    Length_b/Length_a = average

    with Length_a as length of the gap before SV is added, and Length_b is after SV added. Since:
    Length_a = Speed_a * Time_a

    and Speed_a is 1 because no SV is in effect, and Time_a is 1 beat (gap between 00:17:720 - to 00:18:155), so we can tell that Length_a is 1*1=1, thus:
    Length_b/(1) = average

    Then we have to calculate Length_b, knowing that Length = Speed*Time, and you used 2 different value of speed here, we can do:
    Length_b = Length_b1 + Length_b2
    Length_b = Speed_b1*Time_b1 + Speed_b2*Time_b2

    with Speed_b1 and Speed_b2 being the first and second SV respectively, and Time_b1 and Time_b2 is the time of the Speed_b1 and Speed_b2 in effect respectively. Looking at the timing points above, we have
  4. Speed_b1 = 1,1x
  5. Speed_b2 = 0,4x
  6. Time_b1 = 1/2 beat
  7. Time_b2 = 1/2 beat
    and then we can substitute it to our formula:
    Length_b = 1,1*1/2 + 0,4*1/2
    Length_b = 0,75

    and then, substitute back to our first formula:
    Length_b/(1) = average
    0,75/(1) = average
    average = 0,75

    when the value lies above 1, that means the gap after we add SV is increased. On the other hand, if it falls below 1, the gap decreased. However, the value we are looking here is exactly 1

Mapset: Spread in this mapset are awkwardly bad. The big offender of the spread problem came from Normal and Hard. I can see most of the time Normal and Hard are offering same type of layering, and in some cases Normal are actually Harder than Hard. Also the same case happened with Lunatic and Extra but not that much. Extra doesn't offer something more intricate than Lunatic. It mostly only add a note in between the Jumpstream and cranking up the star rating, not the difficulty of the patterning itself. Keep in mind that you should do some reference with the other difficulty to estimate whether your difficulty spreads well with the other difficulty or not.
Timing: Is there any reason for 00:18:155 - BPM change exist? Both of them doesn't have anything different beside the Offset. I suggest to remove it since the Timing Change are useless currently.
Folder: "BG DeaDMaN44.jpg" and "Kochiya.Sanae.full.565649.jpg" are the same file, but you use "BG DeaDMaN44.jpg" instead. Delete one of it. Also with "BG Mai9392.jpg" and "kochiya_sanae_girl_tranquility_meditation_stick_sky_27631_3840x2160.jpg".

I'm kinda confused to how this diff is structured. My biggest problems for this is the pattern expression of different distinguishable sounds and having symmetrically evened out patterns to avoid hand bias problems (such as anchor usage). So that's what I'd be getting into for this mod on D44's GD.


@(1)00:18:155 - 00:30:328 - good section, tho I believe the main problem with this is the anchor usage and how (not)symmetrical some stuff is. I'd say to fix this section would be to remap it entirely, and make sure that all the anchors are evened out for each hand, so *3 anchor left should even out with 3 anchor right*

@(1)00:18:155 - there is not a need for a 138bpm timing point here, remove, the song is all 138bpm.

That's it for my mod, to summarize it all, it was mostly toward the anchor usage in this mapset, and suggestions toward breaking up the repetition within the diff. My solution would be to "make a new difficulty, call it (revisions)" "file, open Difficulty, For Reference, D44's Extra" "Remap the sections that had the biggest anchor issues and even out the patterning as much as you can, and use some of the suggestions I put to break repetition within your patterning. I'm kinda confused to how this diff is structured. My biggest problems for this is the pattern expression of different distinguishable sounds and having symmetrically evened out patterns to avoid hand bias problems (such as anchor usage). I believe you should replace the 12 3 14 2 patterns with more expressive ones because you've used those repetitive patterns throughout the song already.

That's it for my mod, to summarize it all, it was mostly toward the anchor usage in this mapset, and suggestions toward breaking up the repetition within the diff. My solution would be to "make a new difficulty, call it (revisions)" "file, open Difficulty, For Reference, D44's Extra" "Remap the sections that had the biggest anchor issues and even out the patterning as much as you can, and use some of the suggestions I put to break repetition within your patterning. Once the Anchor usage is fixed, I want to come back to this diff and remod it and help with patterning. I believe this mapset can go far, hope you have fun with 25 kudosu!

Mapset: Spread in this mapset are awkwardly bad. The big offender of the spread problem came from Normal and Hard. I can see most of the time Normal and Hard are offering same type of layering, and in some cases Normal are actually Harder than Hard. Also the same case happened with Lunatic and Extra but not that much. Extra doesn't offer something more intricate than Lunatic. It mostly only add a note in between the Jumpstream and cranking up the star rating, not the difficulty of the patterning itself. Keep in mind that you should do some reference with the other difficulty to estimate whether your difficulty spreads well with the other difficulty or not.
Timing: Is there any reason for 00:18:155 - BPM change exist? Both of them doesn't have anything different beside the Offset. I suggest to remove it since the Timing Change are useless currently.
Folder: "BG DeaDMaN44.jpg" and "Kochiya.Sanae.full.565649.jpg" are the same file, but you use "BG DeaDMaN44.jpg" instead. Delete one of it. Also with "BG Mai9392.jpg" and "kochiya_sanae_girl_tranquility_meditation_stick_sky_27631_3840x2160.jpg".
Metadata: Add "maimai MURASAKI" in the tags since the short version of the music are featured in the game.
Hitsound: Haven't checked the Hitsound thoroughly but so far I didn't find anything wrong. Also good job with the Hitsound addition as a spice for the song itself at some point.
HPOD: I think Normal's HP are too low. Buff it to 6.5 or 7.
