Is it okay to add people to your osu friends list even if they don't know you/ they aren't mutual with you? There was this person that was kind of a ding a ling about how 3/4 of my friends list is of people that dont mutual me, and i was pissed about it. What do you guys think...?

i mean, if there's an option for that instead of friend requests then it's fine, lmao. also the person who made a big deal about not having mostly mutuals is shitty. in the end, its just a goddamn friends list xd
I thought the point of a friends list is for convenient access to people that you give a fuck about. This includes top players :p

A good usage of the friends list is to keep track of your rivals, especially if you want to keep going at it and playing. Sometimes that little competitive oomph is fun.
It can also act like "subscribing" to someone, especially if you want to see them making new maps.
