2016-09-27 23:28 Ascendance: ACTION is editing [https://osu.ppy.sh/b/1092453 Sasaki Sayaka - Zzz (TV Size) [Oyasuminasai]]
2016-09-27 23:31 Wivaiien: 00:07:514 (4) - bwuoouw
2016-09-27 23:31 Ascendance: wew
2016-09-27 23:31 Ascendance: is thta bad
2016-09-27 23:32 Wivaiien: No, I just wanted to make a fun noise in an online chatroom
2016-09-27 23:32 Ascendance: Shit
2016-09-27 23:32 Ascendance: good point
2016-09-27 23:32 Wivaiien: 00:30:502 (3) - has bad spacing though
2016-09-27 23:32 Wivaiien: like
2016-09-27 23:32 Wivaiien: that map is so spaced as fuck
2016-09-27 23:32 Wivaiien: im out of gravity
2016-09-27 23:32 Wivaiien: but then there's this 5g circle
2016-09-27 23:32 Wivaiien: pulls me right back into orbit
2016-09-27 23:33 Ascendance: FUK
2016-09-27 23:33 Ascendance: the stack
2016-09-27 23:33 Ascendance: can i stack 00:30:112 (1,3) - instead
2016-09-27 23:33 Wivaiien: the voice is so high though
2016-09-27 23:33 Wivaiien: which is like
2016-09-27 23:33 Wivaiien: "yo, you wanna jump out of orbit or what"
2016-09-27 23:33 Wivaiien: but then youre like
2016-09-27 23:33 Wivaiien: "nah fam, im too fat"
2016-09-27 23:33 Wivaiien: "cant jump"
2016-09-27 23:33 Wivaiien: then you roll around
2016-09-27 23:34 Wivaiien: just do http://puu.sh/rq0py/443f6f33f3.jpg
2016-09-27 23:35 Wivaiien: How much do you care about visual spacing?
2016-09-27 23:35 Ascendance: mh idk
2016-09-27 23:35 Ascendance: i like things to look pretty
2016-09-27 23:36 Wivaiien: do you know the concept of visual spacing tho
2016-09-27 23:36 Ascendance: nope
2016-09-27 23:36 Ascendance: teach me senpai
2016-09-27 23:36 Wivaiien: let me find something quick
2016-09-27 23:38 Wivaiien: https://youtu.be/FCB5rLXqWKY?t=3m59s this picture
2016-09-27 23:38 Wivaiien: 00:41:021 (1,2,3) - this combo
2016-09-27 23:38 Wivaiien: maybe like this? http://puu.sh/rq0Hc/6f083ef601.jpg (as example)
2016-09-27 23:39 Wivaiien: So basically, visual spacing is about that things look "polished" in their spacing, even though the spacing is whatever (because jumps and shit)
2016-09-27 23:39 Ascendance: i actually got rid of that long slider cuz there was a noise in the middle of it that i wanted to represent
2016-09-27 23:39 Ascendance: so it looks like https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/6195050 now
2016-09-27 23:40 Wivaiien: if you do things like this, you notice the odd one out http://puu.sh/rq0Mp/7a3a11136f.jpg
2016-09-27 23:40 Ascendance: right
2016-09-27 23:40 Wivaiien: So try to keep objects <unified spacing goes here> distance away from touching each other, even if they are a few objects after another
2016-09-27 23:41 Wivaiien: 01:05:177 (1,1,3) - is pretty cool
2016-09-27 23:41 Wivaiien: 01:02:450 (5,1,2) - is less cool
2016-09-27 23:41 Wivaiien: (add 01:01:865 (3) - to that)
2016-09-27 23:42 Wivaiien: most of it is fine though, I just wanted to point the tech out)
2016-09-27 23:42 Ascendance: https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/6195067 better?
2016-09-27 23:42 Wivaiien: much
2016-09-27 23:42 Wivaiien: 00:09:852 (1,3) -
2016-09-27 23:42 Ascendance: 01:01:865 (3) - whats wrong with this one
2016-09-27 23:42 Ascendance: the angle?
2016-09-27 23:42 Wivaiien: the touchyness http://puu.sh/rq0Wl/62795d1702.jpg
2016-09-27 23:43 Ascendance: ohh
2016-09-27 23:43 Ascendance: moved 5 away
2016-09-27 23:43 Wivaiien: yeah, im not gonna point them out, I just wanted to see if you knew the tech :3
2016-09-27 23:43 Wivaiien: Things probably also have their reasoning
2016-09-27 23:43 Ascendance: learning new things every day \o\
2016-09-27 23:44 Wivaiien: almost like real life
2016-09-27 23:44 Ascendance: yeah except in a hellhole of a weeb game
2016-09-27 23:44 Wivaiien: /shrug
2016-09-27 23:45 Wivaiien: I cant tell what's off with the flow, but there's something
2016-09-27 23:45 Ascendance: whats up with 00:09:852 (1,3) -
2016-09-27 23:45 Wivaiien: touchyness
2016-09-27 23:45 Ascendance: i
2016-09-27 23:45 Ascendance: o
2016-09-27 23:46 Wivaiien: the ones i pointed out before are all touchyness
2016-09-27 23:46 Ascendance: gotcha
2016-09-27 23:46 Ascendance: the flow is kinda iffy cuz I only know how to map ctb
2016-09-27 23:46 Ascendance: my editor looks like a ctb map lol
2016-09-27 23:46 Wivaiien: Yeah, thats a given with new mappers
2016-09-27 23:47 Wivaiien: I think it's too many directional changes
2016-09-27 23:47 Wivaiien: Let me try to make an example
2016-09-27 23:50 Wivaiien: 00:17:644 (1) - and previous is clockwise movement - cool; 00:18:229 (3) - still clockwise, slider ends in a clockwise direction too - cool; 00:18:813 (4) - changes to counter clockwise though - still okay; 00:19:203 (1) - doesnt really let the movement happen yet, kind of keeps you cramped into the corner (since you usually want to follow where the slider makes you go); 00:19:398 (2) - continues with normal flow like before - cool
2016-09-27 23:50 Wivaiien: So it's these things that just interrupt the flow and throw you into it again. The interruption shouldnt happen in that case
2016-09-27 23:51 Wivaiien: 00:43:748 (5,1) - similar, it's like the slider is pointless in terms of "you have to move back anyways"
2016-09-27 23:51 Ascendance: so changing to something like https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/6195129 would be better?
2016-09-27 23:53 Wivaiien: That would fix the problem with the Circles, yes. Kinda disliking the 00:18:229 (3) - though, since it "guides you into a different direction"
2016-09-27 23:53 Wivaiien: also, the second one is easily fixed like this http://puu.sh/rq1tB/dc8a594765.jpg
2016-09-27 23:54 Wivaiien: 00:54:852 (1,2,3) - vocals are pretty high, so more movement is appreciated! as example; http://puu.sh/rq1Cl/9a4457766d.jpg
2016-09-27 23:55 Wivaiien: 01:13:748 (1,2,3,4) - like you did here. High vocals, high spacing :3
2016-09-27 23:56 Ascendance: right, fixed those up
2016-09-27 23:56 Wivaiien: cool, these are the mose general and easiest to fix things found when skimming
2016-09-27 23:56 Wivaiien: Visual Spacing if you feel the need to and some flow thingies
2016-09-27 23:58 Ascendance: yeah i polished up a few other things as well
2016-09-28 00:00 Ascendance: thanks a ton! :D
Mun
trading modes with Hollow Wings lmao
Anxient

18:59 Ascendance: yea
18:59 *Anxient is editing [https://osu.ppy.sh/b/1092453 Sasaki Sayaka - Zzz (TV Size) [Oyasuminasai]]
18:59 Anxient: after this
18:59 Anxient: force me to shower
18:59 Ascendance: ayy
18:59 Ascendance: ok
19:00 Anxient: 00:06:346 (4,5) - better if you made this into a slider.
19:00 Anxient: the sounds occupying these notes are weak as shit
19:01 Ascendance: what if i just lowered to https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/6250656 ?
19:01 Anxient: 00:06:735 (1) - then yoi'd have emphasis issues with this
19:02 Ascendance: fuk
19:02 Anxient: http://puu.sh/ryubA/dd00741fee.jpg
19:02 Anxient: ?
19:03 Ascendance: sure, did it
19:03 Anxient: ok
19:03 Anxient: 00:08:683 (4) - http://puu.sh/ryufy/665235cebf.jpgtry this
19:03 Anxient: 00:08:683 (4) - http://puu.sh/ryufy/665235cebf.jpg try this
19:04 Anxient: as it is rn, the distance is way too high for its own good
19:04 Anxient: so might as well incorporate 4 into a pattern
19:04 Ascendance: made the line a bit prettier but fixed it
19:04 Anxient: can see?
19:05 Anxient: 00:11:411 (1,3) - fix stack
19:05 Ascendance: https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/6250678
19:05 Ascendance: im noob stacker
19:05 Ascendance: fixed
19:06 Anxient: 00:09:073 (1) - wont this play weird if you place it like that
19:06 Anxient: http://puu.sh/ryumy/c5629746a7.jpg try this
19:06 Ascendance: i moved it back to its original location i was just using it to make the line straighter
19:06 Anxient: http://puu.sh/ryumY/9db35a9380.jpg reference
19:07 Anxient: 00:10:242 (2,3) - holy mother of distance lol
19:07 Anxient: if i were you, id do something like this http://puu.sh/ryuoV/b41288115b.jpg
19:08 Anxient: 00:11:021 (4) - also ctrl g if you do something like the screenshot
19:08 Ascendance: https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/6250690 i lowered the distance a lot instead
19:08 Anxient: 00:13:359 (2) - stack this? theres little emphasis in here so just make it an antijump
19:09 Anxient: ok then
19:09 Anxient: i hope it doesnt ruin the map's balance
19:09 Anxient: coz there a shitton of huge jumps here
19:09 Ascendance: stacked it
19:10 Anxient: 00:15:502 (6) - i feel like this would play better if you made the angle smaller
19:10 Anxient: somethin' like this http://puu.sh/ryuvI/121b19d1e9.jpg
19:10 Ascendance: oh nice catch
19:10 Anxient: ayy
19:11 Anxient: 00:17:255 (4,1) - copy sliders?
19:11 Ascendance: fixed it
19:11 Anxient: ok
19:11 Ascendance: copied 00:17:644 (1) -
19:11 Anxient: 00:21:151 (2) - distance too large, try placing it in x235 y117
19:12 Anxient: 00:24:463 (3) - fix stack
19:12 Anxient: 00:24:268 (2) - place in 00:23:489 (4) - sliderhead, distance too big
19:12 Ascendance: yea
19:13 Anxient: 00:25:242 (5) - place in x485 y282
19:13 Anxient: around there
19:13 Anxient: 00:25:437 (1) - to give this more distance
19:13 Anxient: = more emphasis
19:13 Ascendance: yup!
19:13 Anxient: 00:26:021 (3) - turn this thing around. literally turn it around
19:14 Anxient: http://puu.sh/ryuDT/2e6f20d929.jpg
19:14 Anxient: http://puu.sh/ryuEh/4690a5fcc1.jpg
19:14 Anxient: 00:25:826 (2,3) - fixes entry and bonus = blanket
19:15 Ascendance: done!
19:16 Anxient: 00:26:995 (1) - i feel like its better if 1 uses 2;s space
19:16 Anxient: coz more distance and feels more comfy to play
19:16 Anxient: http://puu.sh/ryuJj/ed0d982780.jpg
19:16 Anxient: 00:27:385 (3) - if you apply, dont forget to ctrl+g this
19:17 Anxient: 00:30:112 (1) - give this more distance, compared to the map as of this note, this is super weak
19:17 Ascendance: yup
19:17 Ascendance: https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/6250729 ?
19:17 Anxient: place that in x277 y55
19:17 Anxient: eh that works as well i guess
19:18 Anxient: 00:32:255 (4) - ctrl g works better, coz +emphasis and -emphasis for 00:32:839 (5) -
19:18 Anxient: coz no heavy kick
19:18 Anxient: 00:34:008 (5,6,7) - distance is uneven. try using the same DS
19:18 Ascendance: sure, and stacked 00:31:281 (5,5) -
19:19 Anxient: somethin; like this http://puu.sh/ryuQ4/27d8edccae.jpg
19:19 Anxient: well that one can stay but whatever i guess
19:19 Anxient: actually dont
19:19 Anxient: revert that
19:19 Anxient: its gn
19:19 Anxient: ng*
19:20 Anxient: gimme sec
19:20 Ascendance: kk
19:20 Ascendance: sure
19:31 Anxient: back
19:31 Ascendance: weba
19:32 Anxient: 00:36:346 (1) - more distance
19:33 Anxient: 00:36:346 (1,4) - blanket is better
19:33 Anxient: fixes the emphasis issues
19:34 Ascendance: sure, did it
19:34 Anxient: 00:39:463 (1) - give more distance. you have this hugeass cymbal soyund
19:35 Anxient: 00:39:463 (1) - conside rplacing in x59 y49
19:35 Ascendance: oo nice
19:35 Ascendance: fixed
19:36 Anxient: 00:42:969 (3,1) - fix stack
19:36 Ascendance: fuk
19:36 Ascendance: fixed
19:37 Anxient: ]fix any other stacks you find
19:37 Ascendance: yea
19:38 Anxient: 00:46:281 (6) - NC?
19:39 Ascendance: o yea
19:39 Anxient: 00:48:813 - dont ignore this beat ;A;
19:40 Anxient: 00:49:203 (2) - if you dont apply it, stack this. the distance is unecessary
19:40 Anxient: 00:50:761 (2,3) - try doing this instead http://puu.sh/ryvIu/ebbdf8e634.jpg
19:40 Anxient: works better imo
19:41 Ascendance: focusing heavily on lyrics but did the second thing
19:41 Ascendance: vocals* :d cant english
19:42 Anxient: 00:51:735 (5) - try placing this here instead x267 y304
19:42 Anxient: 00:51:930 (1) - gives this more emphasis
19:43 Ascendance: did it!
19:44 Anxient: 00:52:514 (4) - place at x28 y236
19:44 Anxient: so the 4 is more ceneterd between 00:51:930 (1,3) - thes etwo
19:45 Ascendance: oh sure
19:45 Anxient: 00:52:514 (4,5,6,7,8,9) - i think this feels too random. how about making a big square jump
19:45 Anxient: http://puu.sh/ryvVs/b4059a2edd.jpg
19:45 Anxient: somthng like this
19:46 Anxient: looks tons neater imo
19:46 Anxient: 00:55:631 (3) - i think a smooth slider works alot better. the entire song is smooth as silk
19:47 Anxient: doesnt make alot of sense to put it here
19:47 Anxient: *like this
19:47 Anxient: plus, this http://puu.sh/ryvZi/08404e6f2c.jpg looks alot better imo
19:47 Ascendance: fixed em both
19:48 Anxient: 00:58:748 (4,7,10) - wanna add NC?
19:48 Anxient: 00:58:748 (1,1,1) - also make these the same DS
19:48 Anxient: you know how right
19:49 Anxient: well ill just send you the coordinates of these notes and you judge em
19:49 Anxient: 00:59:527 (1) - x191 y366
19:49 Anxient: 00:59:625 (2) - x230 y356
19:50 Anxient: 01:01:281 - super clickable beat is occupied by a sliderend
19:51 Anxient: i think its better if you do thhis
19:51 Anxient: http://puu.sh/ryw9o/aa8f06e200.jpg
19:51 Anxient: ill wait till you catch up
19:51 Ascendance: https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/6250932 did this instead for the last one
19:51 Ascendance: rest fix
19:52 Anxient: ok
19:53 Anxient: 01:04:398 (1,2,1,2,3) - a jump pattern actually works here
19:53 Anxient: 01:04:787 (2,1) - also use the same slider
19:53 Anxient: 01:05:566 (2) - give this more distance
19:53 Anxient: *apply the last 2 if youre not gonna make it into a jump pattern
19:54 Anxient: i just realized this
19:54 Ascendance: yep, did the last 2
19:55 Anxient: if you try hard enough you can make this into a stream map
19:55 Ascendance: someone get kroytz
19:55 Anxient: 01:06:346 (2) - place this x218 y196
19:55 Anxient: plays wayy too linear(?)
19:56 Anxient: anyway it plays too smoothly it hurts
19:56 Anxient: 01:07:514 (1,2,3) - these angles are good
19:56 Anxient: 01:11:021 (2) - fix stack
19:56 Ascendance: didit
19:56 Ascendance: fuck stacks
19:57 Anxient: 01:11:800 (4,5) - try placing like this http://puu.sh/rywqo/3c86984430.jpg
19:57 Anxient: zigzags play better than what you had
19:57 Anxient: plus, distance was wayy too op anyway
19:58 Ascendance: made 01:11:021 (2,4,5) - a line
19:58 Anxient: screencap
19:58 Anxient: 01:16:865 (1,1) - wow this is wayy too close. distance them out a bit
19:59 Ascendance: https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/6250964
19:59 Anxient: 01:16:865 (1) - i recommend x111 y185
19:59 Anxient: +emphasis +spacing
19:59 Anxient: thats pretty
19:59 Ascendance: yeah idk why it was so close aaaaaa
19:59 Anxient: LOL
19:59 Anxient: 01:20:566 (3) - this aint ctb so this looks dumb
20:00 Ascendance: LOL
20:00 Ascendance: FUCK i thought it was pretty
20:01 Anxient: http://puu.sh/rywAI/630aeb4307.jpg
20:01 Anxient: took me way too long to understand how sliderart works dont worry
20:01 Anxient: ill tell you the coords for each slider point
20:01 Anxient: excl. the first and last one
20:01 Anxient: eh whatever ill do all o fit
20:02 Anxient: 1st x87 y36
20:02 Anxient: 2nd x148 y75
20:02 Anxient: 3rd 216 67
20:02 Anxient: 4th (red) 275 27

14:01 iWinnie: YOU RDY
14:01 Ascendance: hel yea
14:01 iWinnie: first off I want to start off by saying
14:01 iWinnie: your angled sliders
14:01 iWinnie: are garbage
14:01 iWinnie: please delete them all
14:01 Ascendance: FUK
14:01 iWinnie: and wtf is this
14:01 iWinnie: 00:07:514 (4) -
14:01 iWinnie: a misconception?
14:01 Ascendance: yea
14:01 iWinnie: but really
14:01 iWinnie: you angled sliders
14:01 iWinnie: you dont need them
14:02 iWinnie: and for sliders that look like this
14:02 iWinnie: 00:06:735 (1) -
14:02 iWinnie: you can make them http://puu.sh/rVuuw/1fa36e789b.jpg
14:02 Ascendance: oo ok
14:03 iWinnie: this map is slow and you want to make them as crisp as possible
14:03 iWinnie: really brings that subtle gentle and innocent vibe
14:04 iWinnie: like doesnt that look so much nicer? .http://puu.sh/rVuC2/cc7c8d8fef.jpg
14:05 Ascendance: i fixed a few though
14:05 Ascendance: but in some places i like the angled ones ;w;
14:05 iWinnie: but really
14:05 iWinnie: 00:07:514 (4) -
14:05 iWinnie: we gotta work on this
14:05 Ascendance: how to fix
14:06 iWinnie: http://puu.sh/rVuLo/1d471c334a.jpg
14:06 iWinnie: you can try for that
14:07 Ascendance: okay
14:07 Ascendance: i overlapped the tail with the head of 00:06:346 (4) -
14:07 iWinnie: I have to see this overlap
14:08 Ascendance: i meant stack
14:08 iWinnie: ok
14:08 iWinnie: I THOUGHT SO
14:08 iWinnie: no overlapping in my house
14:08 Ascendance: https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/6410010 lolz
14:08 iWinnie: 00:08:099 (1,2,3,4,5) -
14:08 iWinnie: now for this pattern
14:08 iWinnie: its really tight
14:09 iWinnie: and 00:09:073 (1) -
14:09 iWinnie: is played too far
14:09 Ascendance: https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/6410017
14:09 iWinnie: can always go for the same thing http://puu.sh/rVuXB/e7408cb9ff.jpg
14:11 Ascendance: what about this https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/6410032 ?
14:11 iWinnie: good enuff
14:11 iWinnie: ok next
14:12 iWinnie: 00:09:852 (1) - can space a little further
14:12 Ascendance: even tho theres no buffer?
14:12 iWinnie: roughly 4.2
14:12 iWinnie: trust me
14:12 iWinnie: they will hit it
14:12 Ascendance: kk
14:12 Ascendance: did it then
14:13 iWinnie: you better make this symmetrical boi
14:13 iWinnie: 00:11:021 (4,1) -
14:13 iWinnie: or you're going to feel the consequences
14:13 Ascendance: sorry dad :(
14:13 iWinnie: plus ctrl+G on (1) feels tremendously powerful but thats up to you
14:14 iWinnie: since emphasis and creates that good ol spacing
14:14 iWinnie: because we dont want this spacing 00:10:242 (2,3) - to be bigger than strong emphasis
14:15 Ascendance: i mainly put the higher spacing where there's an upswing in vocals but
14:15 Ascendance: i can fix it if you think its bad
14:15 iWinnie: its not bad
14:15 iWinnie: its just something mentioning
14:15 iWinnie: as long as it plays well
14:15 iWinnie: now lets get to these set 00:11:995 (2) -
14:16 Ascendance: my beautiful angled slider ;w;
14:16 iWinnie: NO
14:16 iWinnie: reason I said to ctrl + G
14:16 iWinnie: was because of something I tried
14:16 iWinnie: http://puu.sh/rVvpB/5c0b2545ba.jpg
14:16 iWinnie: 00:13:553 (3) -
14:16 iWinnie: followed into this pattern
14:16 iWinnie: http://puu.sh/rVvqo/22ec0a53b5.jpg
14:18 Ascendance: i really like that angle tho :<
14:18 iWinnie: if ya want to do angles
14:18 iWinnie: ya gotta do them like this
14:18 iWinnie: http://puu.sh/rVvwE/b5be5ea528.jpg
14:19 iWinnie: ISNT THAT JUST SO SEXY
14:19 Ascendance: hmm that is quite lovely
14:20 iWinnie: I only map to playability
14:20 iWinnie: fuck everything else
14:20 iWinnie: ok next
14:20 iWinnie: what are you charles445 BN test? 00:14:527 (1,2,3) -
14:20 iWinnie: I think you can replace the third 1/4 for a note
14:22 Ascendance: oh god
14:22 Ascendance: i repeated that pattern like 4 times in the map
14:22 iWinnie: only in this area
14:22 iWinnie: is where the extra 1/4 is kinda meh
14:22 iWinnie: the others work
14:22 Ascendance: oh
14:22 Ascendance: hm.
14:23 Ascendance: alrighty,
14:23 iWinnie: because these 3 have their own seperate sound apart from the 1/4 you did 00:14:917 (3,4,5) -
14:23 Ascendance: I just put a note on the head of where the 3rd slider would be
14:23 iWinnie: its very distinct but you can hear it
14:24 iWinnie: omagod 00:14:917 (3,4,5) -
14:24 iWinnie: 00:18:229 (3) -
14:24 iWinnie: woops wrong one
14:24 Ascendance: angles
14:24 iWinnie: you're not Kurt Angle though
14:25 Ascendance: fuk
14:25 iWinnie: but I will leave you to decide what you want to do with that angled slider
14:26 Ascendance: i will adjust it to make it less ew
14:26 Ascendance: but still angle
14:26 iWinnie: K
14:27 iWinnie: got pretty drastic quick
14:27 iWinnie: 00:20:372 (5,6,1,2,3) -
14:27 Ascendance: lowered them all a lot lol
14:28 iWinnie: 00:24:463 (3) -
14:28 iWinnie: I like this one
14:29 Ascendance: yay
14:29 iWinnie: you better stack
14:29 iWinnie: 00:25:826 (2) -
14:29 iWinnie: or you're going to get flamed in mods
14:29 iWinnie: lol
14:30 Ascendance: whoops
14:30 Ascendance: fixed it
14:30 iWinnie: I typically don't like this pattern because of how one dimensional and squary it plays but lets see what others say 00:26:995 (1,2,3,4,5,6) -
14:31 iWinnie: 00:30:696 (4) - better stacked on 2 than where it's placed
14:32 Ascendance: sure
14:33 iWinnie: this spacing here was slightly strange 00:41:411 (2,3) -
14:33 Ascendance: https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/6410182 ?
14:36 iWinnie: lel kevincela- strats http://puu.sh/rVwEn/25661574d9.jpg
14:36 iWinnie: but yeah its fine
14:37 Ascendance: lmao
14:38 iWinnie: https://osu.ppy.sh/s/454227
14:38 iWinnie: fak
14:38 iWinnie: http://puu.sh/rVwMi/46c6a51518.jpg
14:38 iWinnie: 00:51:930 (1) -
14:38 iWinnie: plays better than what you previously had
14:39 iWinnie: the position of 2 played poorly and 3 was the same way
14:39 Ascendance: are u sure about 1,2 in ur pattern
14:39 iWinnie: oh yeah
14:39 Ascendance: what about this instead https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/6410211
14:39 iWinnie: its not big enough to make people fail
14:39 iWinnie: I think if you did that
14:39 iWinnie: BN test had that
14:40 iWinnie: its too zig zag
14:40 iWinnie: and plays awkwardly
14:40 Ascendance: dam
14:41 Ascendance: alright
14:41 iWinnie: ew
14:41 iWinnie: 00:53:489 (1,4) -
14:41 iWinnie: the overlap
14:41 Ascendance: oop stacked
14:41 iWinnie: do what you did previously
14:42 iWinnie: its really good here
14:42 iWinnie: http://puu.sh/rVx05/dbe7d2fca8.jpg
14:42 iWinnie: also spacing here is really big 00:54:852 (1) -
14:42 Ascendance: cuz the bell things
14:43 iWinnie: I can see that
14:43 iWinnie: but the inconsistency is you have two sliders there
14:43 iWinnie: that was reversed
14:43 iWinnie: what if they were like http://puu.sh/rVx67/16c4592743.jpg
14:43 iWinnie: to play the same sound in the exact same way
14:43 iWinnie: BOOM
14:43 iWinnie: MINDBLOWN
14:44 Ascendance: fuk
14:44 Ascendance: too complex
14:45 iWinnie: this is kiai so I believe spacing can work
14:45 iWinnie: Ill be lenient with it
14:45 iWinnie: not sure how picky other people will be since you don't have streams
14:45 iWinnie: but I SEE IT
14:46 Ascendance: hell yea
14:46 iWinnie: the rest is k
14:46 iWinnie: but
14:46 iWinnie: 01:11:216 (3) -
14:46 iWinnie: DELETE
14:47 Ascendance: how to fix
14:49 iWinnie: do a rhythm like this
14:49 iWinnie: http://puu.sh/rVxsO/b05911e991.jpg
14:49 iWinnie: thats how
14:49 iWinnie: now listen to the difference 01:11:605 (4,5,6) -
14:49 Ascendance: red tick slider?
14:50 iWinnie: just listen to the emphasis on the 3 notes
14:50 iWinnie: you can have sliders anywhere
Kaifin

easy

  1. 00:13:748 (2,3) - if ur gonna do this hexagon pattern, you could position 00:13:748 (2)'s slider end to make a hexagon with 00:12:190 (2,3,1) - and stack 00:14:527 (3) on 00:12:190 (2)
  2. 00:41:021 (1,2) - move 2 up a little, avoid this overlap it looks EHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
  3. 00:51:151 (2,3) - same complaint as above
  4. 00:51:930 (3,1,2,3) - you could also hex this if u wanted : )
  5. 01:21:151 (1) - no NC, doesn't make sense, its the same held note ! ! 1 ! !!! !111 ! !
  6. 01:25:826 (1) - if this isn't meant to represent a specific sound, couldnt it start sooner? i dont hear anything (take the spinner in normal as an example)

chao garden

  1. 00:07:514 (2,1) -
  2. 00:51:346 (3) - imo this is too confusing for new player, they will try and click the tail of this slider because of the flow of 00:50:761 (2) -
  3. 01:12:579 (6,1) - stack bugged
  4. 01:20:566 (3) - cute

momokokokokkokokokokokok

  1. 00:07:125 (2,4) - only off a little but the shape makes it very zzz
  2. 00:18:228 (3) - object's end is not snapped!
  3. 01:16:865 (1,2) - parallel off

    wow nice

weeb

  1. 00:01:670 (4,3) - shape of the 3 is ugly and the blanket is off, the two are related
  2. why is 00:00:502 to 00:09:852 - so spaced? its the same spacing as the verse while being less intense plz tone down a bit
  3. 00:09:073 (1,1) - holy buffer it
  4. 00:27:774 (5,6,7) - :no_good: flow, try something like this maybe? 6 is stacked on 00:26:021 (3) - slider end and 00:28:164 (7) - makes a triangle with 00:27:190 (2,4) -
  5. 00:34:398 - since the 1/4 doesnt really exist here and its 1/6, no 1/6 buzz like last time there was 1/6?
  6. 00:37:612 - 00:37:807 - these are both non existent notes
  7. 00:40:437 - when you do this, always make the red tick clickable because beginning stream on blue tick is hot aids
  8. 00:40:924 - pretty sure all the other notes exist except this one, its a xylo quad from 00:40:437 - to 00:40:729 - then a bass hit on 00:40:826 - and nothing on 00:40:924 -
  9. 00:47:839 (3,1) -
  10. 00:54:657 (4,3) - fix stack
  11. 01:04:105 - 01:04:300 - non existent
  12. 01:05:956 (1,3) - parallel this?????????????
  13. 01:06:540 (3,4) - same
  14. 01:15:014 - 01:15:209 - also non exist
-Visceral-

[General]
  1. Can I GD a hardest diff lol...
  2. Please add combo colors they would look nice :(
  3. Remove countdown that shit is annoying tbh.
  4. Disable Widescreen Support on all diffs since there is no storyboard.
[Oyasuminasai]
  1. 00:07:514 - One of these would be more aesthetically pleasing and would fit the song better: https://smoothieworld.s-ul.eu/rrPyWip3 Plus it would add variety.
  2. 00:15:696 - This is a strong tick that should be represented with a clickable object. Try the following rhythm: https://smoothieworld.s-ul.eu/LkKAClhF
  3. 00:21:346 (3) - This slider encompasses two very different sounds which is something you want to avoid. Plus you mapped the same sound at 00:21:540 with a shorter slider at 00:21:930 too. Try the following instead: https://smoothieworld.s-ul.eu/mFjOlstE
[momoko's Hard]
  1. 00:17:060 (4,1) - I feel the spacing here should be larger to make the 1/1 gap moe apparent to players of this skill level.
  2. 01:04:203 (4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - Do you really think this isn't too complex for players of this skill level? Not saying it is but I want you to look at this pattern from a new player's perspective.
[Chaoz's Normal]
  1. 01:04:008 (2,1) - Watch your spacing here. It's almost .10x inconsistent with the rest of the map.
  2. 01:07:125 (4,1) - Spacing is a bit inconsistent here as well.
[Easy]
  1. 00:58:164 (4,5) - Inconsistent spacing here. Please make this more consistent.

will reply to the easy stuff tomorrow, thanks guys

[Easy]
  1. Main thing I notice is an overall lack of organization in terms of rhythm. This is most obviously seen right at the main verse 00:09:852 - . Compare the rhythm there to the rhythm at 00:16:086 - . Why is it different? What in the music warrants entirely different rhythms here? At the very least, having 00:16:476 (2) - start on a weaker beat (compared to starting on stronger beats like you do at 00:09:852 (1) - ) isn't the best option imo.
  2. Also, look at your nc patterning at 00:09:852 - compared to 00:22:320 - . Different for no reason other than probably a mistake. I'd remove at 00:11:411 (1) - and 00:17:644 (1) - to have consistent 2 bar nc phrasing
  3. 00:21:540 - This is definitely an effect in the music that is noticeably different than the entire section prior to this, and yet it is mapped no differently. I think it'd be best to deviate from your rhythm pattern here and map mostly 1/1 to fit these notes.
  4. 00:30:112 (4,1) - This is closer to the right idea in terms of changing things to fit the music
  5. 00:44:138 (1) - A nice visual touch you can do with these sliders is having the anchor right on the slidertick so that it bends with the beat
  6. 00:54:852 - It's a shame you limited your rhythmic options with the beginning, it would be nice to see this represented somehow. This is how I'd do it if you feel it's acceptable.
  7. 01:06:735 (3) - Personal note, imo this doesn't look very smooth since there's a very awkward transition visually between the notes before and this slider. Honestly the whole small section here 01:05:956 (1,2,3,1,2,3) - isn't that great, might want to rework it.
  8. 01:25:826 (1) - Yeah kaifin mentioned it this spinner starts really randomly. The rule about spinners only applies to notes after the spinner.
[Chaoz's Normal]
  1. Could consider cs3.3 if you want a closer to even 2.5 - 3.3 - 4 spread heh.
  2. I'm actually kinda weirded out by the number of 1/2 sliders you have. I think a lot of them are unnecessary and can just be single circles to give a little breathing room in the rhythm. Stuff like 00:14:138 (3) - 00:26:605 (4) - just seems excessive to me, even if it ends up skipping one vocal note. I think it's better to choose something to directly follow in a normal, rather than try to follow everything.
  3. 00:35:956 (4,1) - 00:39:073 (3,1) - inconsistency here, any particular reason for it? I think it'd be better to follow the vocal directly based on what you've been doing.
  4. 00:52:514 - I think this beat is too important to skip.
[momoko's Hard]
  1. 00:05:566 (1,2,3,4,5) - Have to ask if you really think this fits here, this many circles in a row is harder than people realize and it doesn't really fit anything in the music or the intensity here imo.
  2. 00:07:514 (4) - ur a memer
  3. 00:30:112 (1) - I'd do 3 circles here instead since this is clearly the high point of the verse in terms of pitch. Differentiates it from 00:31:670 (1) - .
    Rest is super nice
[:bed:]
  1. 00:04:203 (3) - Centering the anchor would look so much nicer.
  2. 00:08:099 (1,2,3,4,5) - This could be organized into a much cleaner pattern, like putting 1,3,4,5 into a clean square with 2 in the center.
  3. 00:12:969 (1,2,3) - This is a pretty jarring jump, and noticeably harder than the time before 00:10:242 (2,3) - due to the stacking. Stacking stops flow momentarily, which can be good and bad depending on how you use it.
  4. 00:14:527 (1,2,3) - Reasoning for this? If there is one then fine, otherwise it's just random overmapping.
  5. 00:17:644 (1,2) - 00:11:411 (1) - Remember what I said in Easy about rhythm inconsistency? yeah.
  6. 00:26:995 (1,2,3) - uh.
  7. 00:28:164 (7) - Disappointing that this is a slider when the bass line is actually building up into the next note. Kills all of the emphasis on 00:28:553 (1) - because of the slider and super low spacing.
  8. 00:31:670 (1,2,3) - Not a fan of this angle + spacing, essentially doing 90 degree angles at varying spacings.
  9. 00:33:813 (3,4,5) - Personally I'd kill this triple, just have 1/2 circles going into the stream at 00:34:398 - . I feel like that'd do a better job of actually accentuating the stream.
  10. 00:37:514 (5,6,7,8) - This is pretty unnecessary. I can understand having a triple at 00:37:709 - to reset flow and put a different style of emphasis on 00:37:904 (1) - , but as is the stream just feels excessive.
  11. 00:38:489 (3) - Consider doing 2 1/2 sliders here instead, to fit the vocal points. Having such a strong vocal on a slider end feels anticlimactic.
  12. 00:40:047 (4,5,6,7,8,9,10) - Man, I don't know what you're listening to, but the music has a stream from 00:40:242 - to 00:40:631 - and you apparently aren't having any of that.
  13. 00:41:021 - to 00:44:138 - feels like a lot of unnecessary jumps, doesn't really take into account that this is clearly a softer section compared to both what came before it and what's coming after.
  14. 00:43:164 (4) - You ignore the bass here, while you clearly were looking to follow it at 00:41:605 (3,4) - . It's better to stay consistent rather than just arbitrarily pick within the same section of music.
  15. 00:46:670 (4,5) - I dislike the flow here. I think there are better ways to emphasize 5 without this jarring of a flow break combined with a wide angle. Bottom of the screen I think works better. (Could flip 00:47:255 (1) - if you choose to do this)
  16. 00:48:618 (1) - This is the kiai. This isn't really the place to have some of the least exciting mapping of the whole map unless you really think the sections prior were more intense and deserving.
  17. 00:53:099 (7,8,9) - Again I have to question why because I don't see any reasoning behind this rhythm.
  18. 00:54:852 (1,2) - Please.... space this out a lot more lol.
Rest is passable but could probably still use a touch up based on comments I've made during this mod already.
