[General]

Any specific reason to use .png format for the BG? A jpg format would save as much as a 1mb of disk space without any significant loss in quality. Converted pic

00:06:286 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3) - is there any specific reason you ignore the leading instruments that are on the red ticks? If so, why do you follow them in the next patterns 00:11:679 (1,1,2,3) ? Perhaps, you intended to avoid polarity changes? If that is the case, here you can find an example that does exactly so while still following the main beats. I believe you can adjust it to fit your style. 00:12:354 - the same rhythm continues later through this part and you can do exactly the same thing to keep up with the rhythm.
Note: 01:15:050 (1,2,3,1,2,3,4) - basically the same thing happens here. Though
00:40:163 (3,4) - the slider begins on the soft bell sound and shfts on vocals/drums on 00:40:500 - why not separate these two by giving 00:40:163 - an individual circle? You can easily do that by swapping (3) and (4) on the timeline

The rhythm choice really puzzled me here, so I would absolutely love to hear some explanations of your rhythm choice. I believe it to be based on drums, though the drums are really weak. If that is so, consider switching the rhythm to leading instruments as beginners are very likely to follow them simply because they are louder. Besides, both Normal and Hard build the rhythm around the same instruments, so, a rhythm change would make more sense in terms of consistency as well.

00:15:387 (1) - this new combo is not quite necessary and makes the comboing feel a bit spammed. Removing this would not affect readability in any way. Same would apply for 00:36:960 (1) - 01:00:556 (1) - 01:13:365 (1) - 01:18:758 (1) -
Note:00:26:848 (1,1) - and here as well, especially because vocals clearly sing "1-2-3".

A couple more things for Easy that could be fixed as well.

00:15:724 (3) - Should end 1/1 earlier at 00:16:567 - where the last note hits. Currently it ends in the middle of a held note.

00:41:511 (1,2) - The rhythm here would suit a 3/2 reverse like 00:42:859 (3) - better, as it captures both the dominant sound and vocals.

I agree with the above modders, the rhythm choices in Easy seem really weird. Try to pick a specific instrument or two and follow them consistently, even on Easy, otherwise the rhythm will sound unrelated to the song for newbie players.

@hvick: 01:08:309 (2,3,1) - triplet in the middle of a build-up ruins the momentum a lot, it forces the player to make a stop-n-go and it is not something really "good". Personally I would prefer more (1,2) spam rather than a whole stop in movement.
Also, 01:14:713 (5,7) - should not these have whistles instead of claps?

@Star: 00:32:915 (4) - would be nice if this would not be stacked under 3, it really deserves more emphasis. I get the idea of following a certain structure and/or consistency (because it is indeed consistent with previous patterns), but rhytmically speaking, this one is way different.
Also, 00:36:960 (4) - clap on tail is kinda too loud, consider removing it. And, 01:16:061 (4) - missing whistle, right?

On a side note, something personal, 00:37:972 (3,4) - wouldn't a slider fit much more with the guitar here? I wanted to complain about the spacing as well, because there's nothing really in the bgm that supports such spacing, but consider how the map is built up, I will leave that to you. Same would apply to 01:06:286 (3,4) - , it is the same rhythm after all.

The things I am listing below are things that I consider to be "nitpicky" for the sole reason that I do not really find the reasoning behind any of these patterns at all, if you agree with me, although, it would be nice if you could reconsider them

00:08:140 (2,3) - Should not these be Ctrl+G in the timeline? I really think so. Something that I want to mention in the intro is that it feels actually very inconsistent in most of the aspects. Spacing-wise you are emphasizing certain objects here and there but 2 seconds after, the same sound is being interpreted in a very different way. Rhythm-wise there is little to no consistency, even in the same combo color you can see that. Also, worth mentioning that 00:05:444 (3,1) - does not look like a 1/4 at all.

00:54:826 (1) - Starting the jump here (also the NC) does not really make too much sense. Nor does 00:55:163 (1,2) - . These (1,2) jumps should only be done when there is something supporting them in such a way that you can rely on both 1 and 2 to make have a considerable spacing. In my honest opinion, I think that neither the rhythm nor the jumps fit in here because, as said, the beats I pointed out are not that strong to support being clickable (or rather, jumps). For example, what you did on 01:07:129 - makes way more sense than the first mentioned pattern, although I do not agree with the spacing, sadly

01:00:556 (2,3) - The 3/4 pattern really makes 01:00:724 - have no kind of support whatsoever as it is being fully omitted. If you want to maintain this pattern for the sake of the vocals, would you silence the sliderend of (3), at least?

01:04:432 (1,2) - Spacing can be considered as "too much" (at least I consider it as such) because there is nothing really emphasizing (2), but yes on 01:05:444 (3) - . Abusing of sliderleniency is not really an option, either since you have to finish (1) entirely before moving towards (2), so the pressure on that note is a lot. What about something like http://i.imgur.com/6F9fvFh.jpg ? Maybe you can find something else, my pattern can be considered as "inconsistent" with the rest of the map, since it is a much sharper angle.

I got to be honest here. I am not a big fan of these mapsets for personal reasons. I do think, although, this is not such a ""bad"" mapset to be put on hold for a loooong time; yet I would l o v e to see some improvements in terms of rhythm and emphasis. Ignoring the vocals is not something comp'letely discouraged, but sometimes vocals cannot simply be fully ignored for the sake of "increasing difficulty", that felt so wrong when looking into these difficulties. Would really appreciate if you both would take some time to go through the map and fix a couple of things that would definitely improve the overall quality of the mapset. Really looking forward to see what you guys are capable of

The things I am listing below are things that I consider to be "nitpicky" for the sole reason that I do not really find the reasoning behind any of these patterns at all, if you agree with me, although, it would be nice if you could reconsider them

00:08:140 (2,3) - Should not these be Ctrl+G in the timeline? I really think so. Something that I want to mention in the intro is that it feels actually very inconsistent in most of the aspects. Spacing-wise you are emphasizing certain objects here and there but 2 seconds after, the same sound is being interpreted in a very different way. Rhythm-wise there is little to no consistency, even in the same combo color you can see that. Also, worth mentioning that 00:05:444 (3,1) - does not look like a 1/4 at all. ur right, fixed both two points

00:54:826 (1) - Starting the jump here (also the NC) does not really make too much sense. Nor does 00:55:163 (1,2) - . These (1,2) jumps should only be done when there is something supporting them in such a way that you can rely on both 1 and 2 to make have a considerable spacing. In my honest opinion, I think that neither the rhythm nor the jumps fit in here because, as said, the beats I pointed out are not that strong to support being clickable (or rather, jumps). For example, what you did on 01:07:129 - makes way more sense than the first mentioned pattern, although I do not agree with the spacing, sadly . That being said, what do you think about http://i.imgur.com/c7hfMd9.jpg ? not sure why im the only one being targeted when hvick uses jumps here as well; anyway i am not changing the jumps apart from the first slider, though i lowered the spacing, rearranged the patterns and removed some unnecessary ncs

01:00:556 (2,3) - The 3/4 pattern really makes 01:00:724 - have no kind of support whatsoever as it is being fully omitted. If you want to maintain this pattern for the sake of the vocals, would you silence the sliderend of (3), at least? silenced sliderend

01:04:432 (1,2) - Spacing can be considered as "too much" (at least I consider it as such) because there is nothing really emphasizing (2), but yes on 01:05:444 (3) - . Abusing of sliderleniency is not really an option, either since you have to finish (1) entirely before moving towards (2), so the pressure on that note is a lot. Maybe you can find something else, my pattern can be considered as "inconsistent" with the rest of the map, since it is a much sharper angle. from my own perspective of getting opinions from other players, your concern of the slider leniency being abused isnt really that much of an issue, since even though the angle is a bit sharper than most of the mapset, it still isnt that jarring to play, or i could say, not being too anti-flow. that said, i did move the circle a little bit.

Allow me to give a few personal thoughts:
I wouldn't say I'm totally increasing the difficulty just for the sake of making it harder, but the fact that at the point of the start of the jumps at 01:07:129 (1) - , there are clear beats in the instrumentals, which stand way more out than the previous parts of the song. I'm not a person to not map to vocals either cuz I do sometimes map to vocals (not just this song btw), but not only is this point the climax of the whole song, but the instrumentals are clearly having a higher pitch (or tone? idk what the word for it is) than the vocals, which is the basis on why i mapped jumps for the last part of kiai.
Although, I did tone down the spacing a bit so ye
