Yes, I have already set up an automated Photoshop / Mac script that converts HD files to SD files. I have no problem converting to SD.
The reason why it's so long is that if i change a HD file, I'll need to change the SD file too, which can create problems and conflicts, and is also hard to handle. I'm working on all the HD files first, then after the skin completely works in HD, I'll convert it to SD.

Pretty sure I mentioned this as well, if you are targeting this skin for pro players, there should a variety of customization available. While I know it is WIP, hitbursts wouble be a nice addition. Huge/Med/Small "100" In the middle/On top and not just dots

Also, had to put 26 in hitcircle offset cuz 2 dots in 2-digit numbers
Thanks for the info, I have been considering options for hitbursts. But since they are animated, they will take longer to make. Sorry for waits... As for the other points, I'll work on them. They'll be implemented if they work well.

UPDATED 22 APR
I plan to upload a new developer update after turning some menu sounds and animating hit bursts. This will add new elements such as sounds and other innovations but won't be as debugged. Some minor elements might be bugged but should be playable.. alignment issues and other stuff from community suggestions probs won't be done too .

Implemented a test version of the new hit bursts - not animated.
They grab way to much attention, and take way too long to recognise and fully understand in the mind. When one appears, you think 'whats that?', go look at it, and miss the next note.

Fixed the 'too flashy' issue by reducing the miss to a single-lined cross, and decreased the opacity of 50 and 100 bursts in gameplay down to 50%. It's still too flashy though, or maybe conflicting with the hit circles since these are also a 'ring' with 'something inside'

It's not as flashy as before when they where 100% bright, but i still feel the old 'dots' responded better. Maybe some animations that would make the bursts easier to recognise would work.

Some ideas i have that might fix things:
Add a quick 'Zoom In' (up FROM the middle, or down from a large size then TO the middle) and then slightly rotate the shape slowly, until it fades out, keeping the dot in the middle stationary and fading out.
Using only the triangle and not the diamond for hit 100. This might be the cause of the recognition issues because remembering five different shapes (tri, tri with dot, diamond, diamond with dot, cross) are taking memory. A diamond is also very loosely related to a warning, thus the user needs to remember what it means in this context, which is not good. Everyday standards should be used for faster perception, as one already knows what they relate to.

Just updated them, they are now rounded to match rounded style gameplay and colour filled for easier recognition (no more outline style, like a legit shape with black dot in middle)

Since I'm so tired I can't test this properly now so I'll come back later

- Back button doesn’t have a mouse over image. It cant react to mouse over. Blue line above back is actually from the mode image. The song select is a complicated structure.

= Yes, thanks. Bigger dots and numbers also looked weird during prototyping.
= Hitbursts were trouble for me too. I found it hard to balance visibility, concentration and the time the mind takes to read it. Bigger dots were too vibrant, smaller dots were hard to see and left you trying to see them instead of playing, and, numbers conflict with the circle numbers subconsciously.

Hello! just a quick bump...

Bit hard for me to see this as being a pro skin, considering all the effects and distracting lights and such. Though, I'd say the skin's really great for more casual players! It looks really good so far! Cant wait to see the other colors come out, haha. Good work, dude.

(also, sorry if i'm using the forum wrong or something. Not used to this. )

Edit: Just wanted to add that I really like your skins and such!

hitbursts, huh? Good for colorblindness I guess cuz each type has a single shape. I don't like having 100 and 100k as 2 separate sprites. For me is distracting cuz when I have this I focus on where did I shot a 100k instead of gameplay. And I'd rather swap dots in normal's and katu's

While I'm here, for the spinner, try to integrate the- no wait, you already done that... and you don't want old-style spinner... I'm pretty sure making a glow is the only thing that you can do IMO

EDIT1 Just looked at mania, that scorebar is waaaaaaaaaaaay toooooooo high... like, it's outta there!

but imo the different shapes are annoying. (see my paragraph of stuff under the new mockups images)

btw screenshot mania lifebar? it doesn't look too far off.. its just under the acc numbers for me. *and mania not skinned yet

Perhaps add another variant of hitbursts - blur out only? that spinning 50 can be distracting

It is purple... Try viewing on a more higher quality display... as this certain purple is hard for some screens to reproduce properly... most mainstream phone displays are good.
I'm working atm so i'll give the hex codes soon.

Look closely - in the ranking title there are 2 lines, right? The bit that the ranking grade has only a single line and it's a tiny bit darker than it should be

I really admire the aesthetic vibe to it and god the sound effects are astonishing(♥A♥ ). User setup took a while but I mange wait till people start complaining about that.... Can't wait for the other colours to be available--take your time skinning them.

Answer: smart skinning, thinking outside of the image

(tldr the score-percent has a huge block of empty space to its right which pushes the numbers to the center.. As for the rest, figuring them out is more fun!) unfortunately osu hides this certain images that are oversized so that's why you can't see the percent image

Yes, did some fixups and mania mods.

Also experimented with some cookie colour changing algorithms, all green (green lol, i mean 'good') so far!

Suggestion: i see in Diff mods icons (HR,SD,etc) it shows how many percentage increases the Score Multiplier. But only shows how much increases individually. It might look better if you do it like this for example: Hard Rock instead of show 1.06x show +0.06x or Double Time instead of show 1.12x shows +0.12x

Very clean gameplay design! Even though I feel like the spacing in ranking letters seem quite off, that's just a minor problem.

This skin looks great so far. There are a few things that should get some love, but I can't be bothered to elaborate on them now (on a bus to college). If I remember, I'll try to go into more depth after I'm home. My body is ready for the purple version.

I love how you constantly bring some new aspects into skinning, like the different back buttons or how you skinned the area above the search bar on the song selection screen. Keep it up. Maybe I'll get to review NIGHTGATE too.

Yes, cool idea, but does it match the multiplier logic? e.g. HD, HR, FL, DT = 1.41, but if it's additive then it should equal 1.36

and also it might be confusing to others?? idk...

I fully accept the idea, but how will everyone else accept it? This is why I'm reluctant to add. Maybe i'll add in prefs, labeled 'additive display' or something

EDIT1: Just noticed in setup, big mode icons in 16-9 and 16-10/21-9 are different... it's black and color instead of transparent and color
I think old mods should get some love too

these don't matter, they still produce the same result as it is additive in osu.
