- Easy and Insane diff don't have Kiai Time. Should start the Kiai Time at 00:50:758 and end it at 01:13:084.

No kudos for this please, but imo you need 2 more hard diffs instead of one as mentioned in the description. The gap of the star rating is more even like that.
Also, I think there us more metadata you need on the ranked version

umm, would a light insane instead of another hard diff help with the distribution?

  1. Tags The tags are inconsistent with the difficulites:

    Silence: whirl ora sawano hiroyuki koutetsujou no kabaneri of the iron fortress ed
  2. There's an unused hitsound as well: soft-hitwhistlez.wav
  3. Also, hitsound soft-hitfinish has more than 5ms delay. Be careful with this hitsounds. They're reason enough for DQ in the future.
  4. I believe you already know that, but the difficulty spread of this map will need a 2* and a 3* difficulty. Probably you can make then: Advanced and Hard; Hard and Light Insane. Depends on the diffs.

[Easy]
    1. Unsnapped slider end 00:49:886 -
    2. 00:20:060 (1) - DS here is 1,06x. Acceptable since it's slow bpm. But always try to keep variation to a low values.

  2. This polarity here seems ok 00:42:386 (1,2) - but at least add some hitsounds so the player don't get confused about this blue ticks on this section, here's and example; 00:42:909 (2) - .

  1. 00:07:502 (3) - This slider is on the edge of being out of the playfield. For people with a bigger hiterror bar it will overlap
  2. 00:18:665 (3) - ^ tbh I think you can ignore it but Im not 100% sure if its against the ranking criteria, so I will skip pointing out the following of those
  3. 00:38:200 (3) - Maybe curve this a bit more to have it close to the other curved sliders you used
  4. 00:40:991 (2) - Same here - Would also work as blanket
  5. 00:52:153 (3) - Maybe make this straight
  6. 01:26:339 (4) - You could move this more to the right so the end of (4) is in the middle of (3)'s body
[Ora's Normal]
  1. OD8 for a Normal seems a bit harsh
  2. Just like HP7

00:03:316 (1,2) - this is fine 00:04:712 (1,2) - why the big distance change? there shouldn't be any reason for a big distance change like that since both parts are following the same exact music.

01:15:177 (2) - this slider should have a lower slider multiplier to follow the music. creates a good boost for 01:15:874 (1) - as well since its going to be faster.

01:15:874 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5) - this jump pattern would be fine if it was repeated all the way through the end. it stops all of a sudden on 01:21:456 - and the jump pattern was fine as well because it matched the music.

I don't see what's wrong here. The diff feels very much playable to me and I like the rhythm choices he made throughout the map. Maybe the style just isn't something you're used to :)

And after, I used a constant spacing for those 1/4, so It isnt wrong. I could still do a blanket increasing the spacing in the first case, but It wouldn't look very good.

Dont blame me, thats how they made the song :'D

I made sure to point them out emphasizing their spacing (They have a big jump) and choosing them as the start of the Combos. But you are also right, that's a really strong beat too and a NC fits, so I added it :P

If you want to follow the vocals then ctrl + g 00:10:293 (3,4) and turn 00:07:502 (3) into a 1/1 slider.
  2. similar stuff about your choice of rhythm, you map a held vocal here 00:45:700 (2) but map another held vocal at 00:43:084 with a slider end
  3. 00:45:700 (2) - end this on the red tick

  3. 01:12:212 (2,3,4,5,6,1) - this whole jump pattern doesn't play to the actual music. 01:12:560 (4) has more spacing than 01:12:386 (3) even though it has drum snare on it. Same with (5,6). In parts of music like these it's a good idea to have increased spacing for the beats emphasized drum beats, this way the spacing reflects the drums. Having the whole pattern increase in spacing from start to finish doesn't feel like you're playing along to the music at all

Decided to add a circle on each red tick nvm that's a terrible idea, will remap this diff instead
  4. 00:32:270 (2) - imo it would be better to delete this circle and place it 00:33:665 . It matches the vocals and transitions nicely onto the downbeat. Basically there's no reason to emphasize 00:32:270 with a circle if you have 00:33:665 unmapped you're right .-.
  5. 00:32:619 (3,1) Stacking like this is very easily misreadable. I recommend against it ok. I'm not very experienced with mapping Easy so I'll take your word for it

  1. At the beginning I can't really tell if you're focusing on the vocals on the instruments. You map the vocals at 00:13:084 (3) with a 1/1 slider but then don't do the same for 00:07:502 (3) and 00:10:293 (3,4) . If you want to follow the vocals then ctrl + g 00:10:293 (3,4) and turn 00:07:502 (3) into a 1/1 slider.
  2. similar stuff about your choice of rhythm, you map a held vocal here 00:45:700 (2) but map another held vocal at 00:43:084 with a slider end
  3. 00:45:700 (2) - end this on the red tick

  5. 01:13:084 (1,2,3,4) - It doesn't feel like this is mapping anything I also don't feel it's appropiate to map this part with the similar object density as your kiai time

  7. One last thing, because the bpm is 86 you could have included some blue ticks and just mapped it 1/4 as, as it stands, this can be very much passable as an easy diff.

Hard

  1. 00:38:898 (1) - move NC to 00:39:595 (2) -
  2. 00:39:595 - I think you should map this part like the other diffs have. It's a tv size after all and this part is very much mappable.

Insane

  1. 00:31:746 (2) - why did you start using whistles all of a sudden? You hadn't used them at all before and you randomly started using them now during a much softer section of the song. The default soft whistle would suit it a lot better imo
  2. 01:07:502 (1,2,3,4) - the flow is really, uuugh here orz. Stacking 01:08:025 (3) on the tail of 01:07:502 (1) would be an easy fix
  3. 01:12:212 (2,3,4,5,6,1) - this whole jump pattern doesn't play to the actual music. 01:12:560 (4) has more spacing than 01:12:386 (3) even though it has drum snare on it. Same with (5,6). In parts of music like these it's a good idea to have increased spacing for the beats emphasized drum beats, this way the spacing reflects the drums. Having the whole pattern increase in spacing from start to finish doesn't feel like you're playing along to the music at all
  4. 01:27:560 (1) - end this at 01:29:392 , yes on the yellow tick.

Silence

  1. 00:47:270 (3) - extend to blue tick I think the 1/2 gap here is a good opportunity for the player to do some self reflection :^) Jk, I don't want the player to feel rushed with clicking the next note as extended sliders tend to do that for circles at a relatively calm section. Though I might change if it comes up as a readability issue during playtesting.
  2. 01:10:642 (2,3) - imo the spacing doesn't need to be this high, it takes emphasis away from the drums in the following measure I interpreted this part to be the height of the held vocal, hence the spacing. But I can understand where you're coming from so I nerfed the spacing to a point where it shouldn't overshadow the drums anymore
  3. 01:11:339 (5,6) - same as above yeee
  4. 01:15:177 (2) - how about using a much lower SV? The difference from 1.1 to 1.0 is minuscule so the SV change doesn't end up emphasizing anything at all really I mean.. the slowdown in the music isn't very drastic but you're right the sv change isnt very noticeable so changed to 0.9x anyway
  5. 01:27:037 (1) - Same as easy .
