I can promise you that these are terrible conditions to make a contest.

  1. This forum isn't really visited by mappers, and even less by users which creates storyboards.

  2. Then I really do not recommend to have only one user to judge since opinions can vary and having more users with the same opinion looks better than a single person doing everything.

  3. And last I find the time too short. I'd give it 1 1/2 ~ 2 months since (good) storyboards take their time and you should consider that people do not constantely work on them - I mean I am sure you know that, I just mention it.

  4. Another thing is that staff members might have the better ways to lead these kind of contests, that are just my 2ct.

Else, if you're still dedicated to keep this alive I will move this to the tournaments forum, I believe it's a better place.

I'm agree with Stefan:

  1. One single person isn't enough for a contest like this. An storyboard as a lot to thing to check and visualize (polishiment, creativity, skills, etc).
  2. Make an Storyboard contest implies you have to determinate the grade of difficulty, because an SB can be maked with everything. 11t maked his SB with progamation codes, not every one who make Storyboards with codes.
  3. The judges needs to be experienced people who knows about storyboarding (staff people).
  4. Tournaments forum would be a better place for this.
  5. And it would better at least 1 and half month for this, great storyboards take at least 2.
I suggest put yourself agree with the people of the staff, and introduce them your idea. I support this, it would be great a storyboard contest, but it needs to be lead for someone experienced.
