Things You Should Expect
- I'll mod your map.
- Standard. I mean, I could try other gamemodes to the best of my ability, but don't expect any real proficiency and intuition. (I'm not going to make random guesses, since I'm not in the business of misleading.)
- I'll mod your map as soon as I can.
- If there's a lot of mapping you've done, I might take a while.
- I'll mod your map in an objective, technical sense (e.g. this at this time's a little jarring, that at that time doesn't seem to fit).
- I'll give it a once-over with a subjective commentary (e.g. this segment lacks cohesion for x and y, I like this or have thoughts about that).
- Kudosing good mods is still a thing, right? I didn't miss that being abolished for any reason? If I helped and that's still a thing, I would not mind in the least.
- I don't require any concrete favour in return for modding, but if you're interested, sure. This M4M thing or whatever seems to be popular.
Things You Should Probably Not Expect
- I'm not gonna override your will and intent. You're the mapper, and it's your project. As a modder, I'm going to help you make your project a better version of yours.
- I'm not gonna work instantly. I have at least a ten-hour day on weekdays and appreciate getting as much sleep as possible. I will work on what I can in the downtime I have.
- Maybe might not mod something out of my depth. I see 8* maps are the rage nowadays. They aren't my rage. Worth a shot asking, though, since a map is still a map.
- I'm not gonna work linearly. I'll tackle what projects suit me best at the time; maybe a quick small mapset or maybe something that's been chewing at me for a while. I don't leave things in the dust, if that's your worry; I don't like doing that.
