I played MH(Monster Hunter, モンスターハンターシリーズ) since 2G(Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, モンスターハンター ポータブル 2nd G)
Long Sword(太刀) is a new weapon in 2G, this new weapon is very easy to learn how to use, its attack and speed is also nice in all available weapons, the most important point is that Long Sword's action posture is really cool, chic and elegant. I used it to fight against monsters from easiest quests to hardest ones, I also used some other weapons hunt monsters when I got to G-level-quest(a kind of hardest quests in the game), but the most frequency of weapon using is always Long Sword, cuz I like it best
btw my second favourite weapon is Bow(弓). the story is: when I met ラージャン(金獅子, sorry I don't know its name in English.. it's a brutal monster in 2G), I used Long Sword to hunt it but always failed, then my friend recommended Bow to me to fight against it, I tried and then found Bow is really nice weapon, it can hunt many monsters which is hard to hunt when I was using Long Sword
after this, I tried all weapons to fight monsters, and found that the feeling of using every weapon is really different from each other weapon, every weapon has its idiographic way to use, and the one I used worst is Lances(ランス).. at first I listened my friend's advice and used it to fight against ヤマツカミ(浮岳龍, sorry again I can't find its English name neither), but I disastrously failed.. then I used it to hunt some other monsters, I still disastrously failed.. I don't know how to use Lances well.. orz
Gunlance(ガンランス)'s action system is a bit similar as Lances, but I can use it well, I used it many times to hunt アカムトルム(覇竜) and ウカムルバス(崩竜) :3
besides Long Sword and Bow, I also like Great Swords(大剣), Dual Swords(双剣) and Light bowgun(ライトボウガン), they are all nice weapons

I was busy irl in the passed month, and now become alumni. I'm sorry that I left many requests, didn't finish them..
