Has osu! ever been considered being uploaded into steam?

Steam have tons of games with outside launchers and accounts.
Some games like trove have outside account so you don't need to use steam account to log in in game.
You add friends via game account and not steam and you don't have to buy stuff in-game via steam.
You can also download the game from the official website without having a steam account just like osu!
And I know tons of more games like this.

. Achievements
. Community guides
. Trading Cards
. Easier to buy stuff in game (my opinion)
. More players
. More people will know about osu!

Steam problems
.Need to create a steam account
.you just can add friends if you have spent 10dollars or more in steam.
. Shift+TAB is the combo to open steam interface in-game but at the same time remove gui in osu!
. Need to wait for game greenlight (not a real problem to osu!) based on users votes.
