00:32:425 (1) - The 1/4 piano sounds clearly start 00:33:063 - here bud, not 00:32:425 - here. I suggest just following the main rhythm structure of the song using a 3/2 slider in this repeat slider's place.
00:37:212 (2) - Not really sure what this slider is doing here but I feel it's out of place, as it is the whole 00:36:893 (1,2,3) - pattern's structure. I suggest you try using https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/10000938 this one instead (the timeline, not necessarily the patterning), it works way better.
00:42:957 (3) - Either this one or 00:43:435 (4,5,6,7) - any of these four should have a NC, the fruit stack as it is rn is of 13 fruits, which is too much when you consider the fact that the whole diff normally has an average of 8 per combo.
00:45:191 (1) - Remove NC, 00:45:829 (3) - Add it here instead. 00:46:467 (1) - Remove it here too.
00:49:659 (1) - This slider is underemphasized being stacked with 00:49:180 (1) - , it should have a hyper emphasizing it or at least a bit of movement. Either way a stack isn't the best thing to use. Same goes for 00:49:978 (2,1) -
00:49:978 (2) - This kickslider is overmapped, there is no sound 00:50:058 - here.
00:50:616 (2,1) - Shouldn't these have a hyper in between? Right now the hyperdash is between 00:50:935 (1,2) - these two, which wrongly emphasizes the cymbal 00:50:935 (1) - here by instead giving the emphasis to 00:51:095 (2) - , which is kinda odd looking both aesthetically and in gameplay.

Aside from everything else, do notice that placing sliderends over strong downbeats (big white ticks) in places such as 00:11:042 (1) - , 00:13:595 (1) - , 00:18:701 (1) - , 00:42:957 (3) - , 01:11:680 (4) - , 01:16:467 (1) - , 01:17:744 (3) - and especially 01:23:808 (1) - here greatly limits your capability of emphasizing cymbals and relatively strong sounds, as well as hindering the structure of your map overall. On most of those places I mentioned, you could've used a 1/2 slider and a note over the downbeat instead or, if that doesn't suit your tastes, use a 3/4 slider and a note/slider on the downbeat instead as well (like you did 00:16:148 (4,1) - here, for example).
Before getting this to a bubbled/qualified state, I'd like to see this issue sorted out properly. Poke me ingame anytime if you want me to go deeper over it and want me to give you help as well.

Heya, while I'm applying this mod I'm also gonna remap some sections because well.... this map was made a year ago, so I feel like making some bigger changes here and there alongside this mod

Aside from everything else, do notice that placing sliderends over strong downbeats (big white ticks) in places such as 00:11:042 (1) - , 00:13:595 (1) - , 00:18:701 (1) - , 00:42:957 (3) - , 01:11:680 (4) - , 01:16:467 (1) - , 01:17:744 (3) - and especially 01:23:808 (1) - here greatly limits your capability of emphasizing cymbals and relatively strong sounds, as well as hindering the structure of your map overall. On most of those places I mentioned, you could've used a 1/2 slider and a note over the downbeat instead or, if that doesn't suit your tastes, use a 3/4 slider and a note/slider on the downbeat instead as well (like you did 00:16:148 (4,1) - here, for example). | Most of them have been fixed while I was fixing stuff. I left some of them though because I think they fit the way they are

went through some stuff over at the modding association server and discovered that the last diff had some ms rounding issues all over, also reviewed the rain diff myself and now it's way more polished than it was yesterday (also fixed some diffs missing combocolours YET AGAIN) so all in all I think this is ready. Either way if there are any issues left to address, the 2nd BN will hopefully go through them for me, I think I went through most of them myself.

Popping this bubble because the top difficulty name is unrankable:

A difficulty’s name must be unrelated to a username. Guest difficulties, however, may indicate possession with its mappers’ username or nickname. (e.g. Guest Mapper’s Insane). Words that happen to be usernames are acceptable within difficulty names as long as they relate to the song.
Additionally, a mapset host cannot indicate possession in a difficulty’s name. (e.g. Mapset Host’s Insane). Conflicts caused by mapping multiple songs with the same metadata and collaborative difficulties are the only exceptions.

Please change the top diff name to avoid using "Ascendance".

please... this is completely missing the entire point of the rule which is to prevent diffnames being "skystar" "eveless" etc. not this case where the diffname actually ties to the anime very well.

Exactly, here the word ascendance doesn't just happen to be a username and isn't related to the song, that's why it breaks the rule. It IS your username and it isn't related to the song.

It's not the same as something like https://osu.ppy.sh/s/630109 where Kisses' username just so happened to also relate to the song

again, you're missing entirely the intent of the rule, this does not violate it by any reasonable justification. sticking to OMG ITS IN THE RULE WE MUST FOLLOW IT !!!!! is stupid. look to why the rule was created and you'll see that this diffname should be perfect acceptable.

nao, I hope you understand that rules are RULES and that they need to be followed. ascendance is not relevant to the anime/song so the diff name is not allowed. I agree the rule is stupid but that doesn't mean you just make an excuse over it.

It's like when Lasse made one of his maps tick 0.5 and you guys were arguing for it because it made sense, even tho it's against rc. I know all the rules aren't perfect but you should at the very least follow them.

if people gain some common sense to see that the rule being applied isn't even directed towards cases like this, then we can move forward from there.

The negative hivemind and the inability for the BNG to think for themselves is exactly what's wrong with this community, by the way. We read off of a block of text, and if things don't line up and could potentially be a borderline case, we just take it down and don't discuss at all. No communication at all from the popping bn in either the thread or in discord and no communication at all from the people who believe it is wrong other than "well the RC said so!".

There can be no positive change in this mode when we deal with every case like this. Maybe you believe it's against the rules, but we pop without hearing the cases of others when it's borderline? Is this the way the BNG works? How do we evolve past things when any time we see something that isn't cookie cutter or perfectly meta, we pop it and just leave it to die?

As someone who has the most ranking experience of any mapper in osu!catch at the moment, I'd think that I know the RC quite well and I can understand when I'm treading the limits of what is rankable. I'd appreciate some respect from the BNG, especially the ones who disagreed, as well as some BASIC COMMUNICATION about the issue. I don't want to hear "these words say no", I want to hear your actual thoughts, and not some scripted shit you pulled up on a url. If you can give me some concrete basis to why your opinions are backed by the RC, we can maybe find a compromise. If you just say "ah well rules are rules that sucks", we're never going to find common ground, and that looks worse on you than it does on me. This is 1 ranked map out of 35 that I could have had if this was qualified. If we prefer to put down any mapset that doesn't fit your perfect-world scenario, then so be it.
