  1. Increase stack leniency. With a current value of 3, it's too low. Setting it to about 7 should do.

Map
  1. 00:05:144 (5) - To preserve the consistency I suggest avoiding the stack here.(Basis: 00:07:753 (5) - , ... )
  2. 00:10:035 (5) - (Can be applied to 00:12:644 (5) - as well) I kinda find it weird that the distance between (4,5), which had an increase, and (5,6) evens out here,unlike the parts prior. Music hasn't really changed (well, I guess lol), so I suggest doing the same as the previous ones.
  3. 00:32:046 (1) - Basing from the pattern that you established, this should have no NC... Right? Meanwhile, 00:32:372 (3) - gets one.
  4. 00:33:839 (4) - I suggest NC-ing this to keep this part clean, NC-wise.
  5. 00:44:274 (3) - Maybe stack this with the slider-end of 00:43:622 (5) - to avoid overlapping with it? You may also wanna move 00:44:437 (4,5) - (or some others) afterwards .
  6. 00:50:796 - I feel like this downbeat should be hit-able.The beat is quite significant imo. That said, I suggest making 00:50:470 (5) - a 1/2 slider then put a circle afterwards.
  7. 01:00:905 (2,1) - The flow between these two feel weird for me. Guess the transition is too "sharp" or something.

NC on this diff seems random at times. It's pattern-based on some, then note pattern (placement) on some. Would be better to have consistency on those.

  2. 00:19:492 (1) - I personally think this is fine, but it would be better if this were to be flipped vertically. It would be good for flow too.
  3. 00:34:818 (5) - For cleanliness of the note placement, I highly suggest putting this at (36,238).
  4. 00:40:687 (2,4) - A stack seems nice to avoid this slight overlap.
  5. 00:42:155 (1) - Wait what. This looks really out of place, map-wise. Just make it a 1/2 a slider and it should be fine, although the vocal might not be emphasized, if that's what you're after.
  6. 00:46:475 - Hm... Silence the slider-tail? Maybe? Just like what you did here at 01:37:997 - .
  7. 01:19:981 (1) - The NC isn't really needed here.
  8. 01:56:013 (1,2) - It could be that you're fine with it, but I suggest avoiding the overlap between these two. Kinda jarring.

  2. 00:23:079 (4) - Consider having this placed somewhere else, maybe have the head stacked into the previous sliders. The placement of this slider, imo, makes this part a bit messy with the overlaps and stuff.
  3. 00:36:611 (2) - This isn't anything important, really, but for aesthetics (I guess?) have its slider-end stacked on the slider end of 00:35:307 (2) - .
  4. 01:26:503 (2,3) - Fix the blanket? I mean looking at the approach circle, it's off.
  5. 01:38:302 - This part is basically the same-ish as 01:22:426 - . Why not map it? It's kinda odd to have a break there when there's nothing much has changed in the music. Say, calm sections.
  6. 02:11:966 - I uh... Really find this odd too. Plus it's too long D: . Would be nice if it's length was just like the previous one, but this one is long.

00:15:579 (1,3) - Making 00:15:579 (1) - blanket the slider body of the next slider seems a nice touch. I'd like to keep the consistency between straight and curved sliders there although I would take the idea were it a different part!
00:19:492 (1) - I personally think this is fine, but it would be better if this were to be flipped vertically. It would be good for flow too. I think the new part asks for something that changes the flow since it's the start of the kiai so I made it like I did!
00:34:818 (5) - For cleanliness of the note placement, I highly suggest putting this at (36,238). Changed the pattern as a whole, didn't like it!
00:40:687 (2,4) - A stack seems nice to avoid this slight overlap. Fixed somehow!
00:42:155 (1) - Wait what. This looks really out of place, map-wise. Just make it a 1/2 a slider and it should be fine, although the vocal might not be emphasized, if that's what you're after.Love this slider, fits that vocal very nicely gives a nice touch and is marked as a new combo to signal differentiality!

From Queue - I can't listen to the song for too long but I did modded a couple of things down below



  • Heeey!

  1. 00:22:100 (5) - You should move this down a bit too give more spacing since this is a strong note compare to previous 1
  2. 01:07:916 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - for this whether it is following the vocals or not - this note 01:08:405 (4) - is weak in general and shouldn't have as much spacing as it does so just reduce it

Hey, here's a quick general check since I like these chipmunks~

[General]
Let's have a look at your folder:

-hitcircleoverlay.png cannot be there alone. If you want to use skin in your mapset then you must have a complete skin set. In this case, if you want the skin just for the circle, you would also need the following:
  1. approachcircle.png
  2. followpoint.png
  3. hitcircle.png
  4. reversearrow.png
  5. sliderendcircle.png
  6. sliderendcircleoverlay.png
  7. sliderstartcircle.png
  8. sliderstartcircleoverlay.png

For more information about skin sets, please refer to this. I would suggest to just get rid of the skin since most players just don't give use to map-specific skins, it's not worth the trouble. Also, the ears are cute, but somewhat distracting.

-As you can see in the picture above, the highest difficulty is the only one that uses "Alvieee" and the rest of the files have your old username, including the .osb file. The data seems to be correct inside the files, however, the .osb file will not show the storyboard with your old username. Since the data is already fine inside the files, then just manually fix your name in the parenthesis so all the files display your current name.

-normal-hitclap.wav is not very audible in-game (tested in the top diff). It can be heard if the music's volume is turned down, but while playing with music, it cannot be heard and blends too much with the music, failing to provide feedback to the player. You must use a hitsound that is audible while playing with the music on.

-alvin is not needed in tags since it's already part of the source and the search will still work.

[Easy]
  1. This difficulty doesn't have any hitsounds. This is unrankable. You could use finishes with drum sampleset on the head and tail of sliders like 00:06:448 (1) - & 00:07:753 (3) - ~ Claps on parts like 00:07:426 (2) - & 01:07:426 (2) - ~ And finishes on 01:01:231 - , 01:42:970 - , 02:24:709 - & 00:03:840 - . For more information about general rules and guidelines visit the ranking criteria.
  2. 02:03:839 - - 02:24:057 - This break is pretty big, but also, the content in it has a lot of potential for mapping. A break this big is very boring. I highly suggest to map this part. You can start mapping at 02:05:144 - .
  3. I suggest to use a general spacing of 1.1x so 1/1 objects don't have a small overlap. It can be a bit tedious change the spacing in the whole diff, but at the end it would look cleaner.


[HC's Normal]
  1. This difficulty is not hitsounded, that's unrankable.
  2. 02:03:839 - Same as in easy, the break is too big.


[HC's Hard]
  1. It's not hitsounded.


[Polack's Insane]
  1. It's not hitsounded.

Fixed all things you mentioned

- deleted the tag alvin

hi again~ no kudos since you already gave me on my first post~

[Easy]
Don't be afraid if the changes in the diff make it go above 1.50*, it will still be an easy, no matter if the icon changes to a Normal diff icon~
  1. Let's analyze your patterning in the beginning.
    00:03:840 (1,2) - First you do two 3/2 sliders and then 00:06:448 (1,2,3) - the same but with a circle before the second slider. You follow the same rhythm patterns until the music begins to change at 00:18:187 - . This is totally fine, you're making variation and being consistent at the same time; however, I suggest a change.
    The gaps you leave (example: 00:04:329 - 00:05:144 - ) feel pretty big to doing them often even if it's an easy diff. There's noticeable sound not being covered even at least in a simplified way. Besides that, it's not good for the spread since the normal diff is quite dense in 1/2 rhythm. You should at least do more 1/1 have a better spread gap.
    My suggestion would be adding a reverse to the sliders where you didn't add a circle after, these are 00:03:840 (1) - , 00:09:057 (1) - , 00:14:274 (1) - . The rhythm would look like this and you would have to add a clap in the tail of the slider. Of course, you would need to move objects a lot for the new spacing arrangements, but at the end you improve.
  2. Aside from the beginning part, here are other places where I suggest adding a reverse:
    00:35:144 (2,3) - these two for consistency with 00:29:926 (1,2) - since they're pretty much the same.
    00:54:709 (6) - 00:57:318 (2) - 01:33:839 (2) - 01:36:448 (4) - 01:39:057 (2) - 02:05:144 (1) - 02:09:057 (5) - no need to explain I guess
    02:12:644 (9) - remove this circle and add repeat to 02:12:970 (10) - . After that just be sure to be consistent with the rhythm patterns like at the beginning. And I guess you forgot to fix the combos.
  3. Hmm you seem to use different patterns each time the chorus begins. 00:18:187 (3) - & 00:59:926 (4) - These two are consistent but you used different rhythm patterns at 01:41:666 (4,5) - & 02:24:057 (1,2) - . You should make them consistent because this kind of consistency is more friendly with beginners.
  4. 01:02:535 (2) - You really should end this slider at 01:03:024 - because the vocal+rhythm is pretty strong there, and you did it on every other chorus, see 00:20:796 (2) - 01:44:274 (2) - & 02:26:013 (3) - .
  5. 02:24:709 (1,2) - Another consistency thing, on other choruses you started with a long slider and you left this one different. See 01:42:970 (1) - 01:01:231 (1) - & 00:19:492 (1) -
  6. 00:23:079 - 01:04:818 - You should add circle in these spots, it would fit pretty good, just like you did at 01:46:557 (4) - & 02:28:296 (5) - .
  7. 01:18:187 (1) - 01:19:492 (1) - 01:59:926 (1) - 02:01:231 (1) - 02:41:666 (1) - 02:42:970 (1) - I see you want to create some effect/emphasis with the colors, but these single objects with nc don't really fit for an easy, so I highly suggest to remove nc.

Fixed everything except this 02:24:057 (6,7) (in the Easy diff) because the rhythm there (before the kiai) is a little different than others and there are strong beats. Thanks for your mod. :oops:

  1. 00:23:079 (4) - 00:25:687 (2) - The difference between the distance with the previous and next objects is notable. This is very minor, but it would look better if you polished the spacing here.
  2. 00:36:448 (3,4) - I think you made a jump by accident here
  3. 01:03:839 (3,4) - 02:29:926 (1,2) - This kind of overlap isn't appealing for lower diffs imo. Changing it is up to you. 01:10:035 (5,6) - This kind should be fine because the next object you click is in the bottom of the previous.
  4. 01:11:666 (1) - You should add a reverse to make it consistent with 00:29:926 (1) -
  5. 01:53:405 (1) - 01:54:709 (2) - 02:35:144 (1) - 02:36:448 (2) - all these sliders should have a reverse to be consistent with 00:29:926 - .
  6. 00:34:818 (1) - You added a note here (kiai 1) but you didn't do it on the rest of the kiais (01:16:557 - 01:58:296 - 02:40:035 - ). For consistency, you could delete the note on the first kiai, but I'd suggest to add it on the rest of the kiais since it fits pretty well with the vocals.
