finishing my mod~~

Platter

  1. 00:00:530 (1,2,3) - too straight tbh, there is a high pitch on 00:01:412 - that should be enphasized with a movement to the opposite, the current transition doesn't emphasize such high pitch.
  2. 00:04:500 (1,2,3) - same as above about the straight movement, also I have a doubt about the distance between 00:01:853 (4,1,2,3) -, why not consistency with the first part if they have the same sound? e.g: 00:01:853 (4,1) - this is a normal transition but the current distance is longer than 00:00:971 (2,3) - when you have a high pitch on 00:01:412 -, why 00:04:941 (2,3) - have the same distance than 00:04:500 (1,2) -? why not the same distance as you did on 00:01:412 (3,4) -? I'll leave it to you.
  3. 00:05:382 (3,1) - don't you wanna add a hyper dash here? you have lot of reasons imo:
    1.- High pitch on 00:07:588 -
    2.- The beginning of a new stanza
    3.- Also you emphasized with NewCombo
    4.- Finish Hitsound
  4. 00:12:441 (4,5) - following the distances around this pattern, 00:10:677 (8,1) - and 00:12:441 (4,5) - should have the same distance, I rather less distance at 00:10:677 (8,1) - than more distance at 00:12:441 (4,5) -, but it's up to you.
  5. 00:14:647 (1,2) - the distance could be reduced a bit imo, it feels like 00:15:971 (3,4) - deserve more distance than 00:14:647 (1,2) -, so it would be better if you move 00:15:530 (2,3) - to x:308
  6. 00:16:412 (4,5,1,2) - nice movement but... I'm sure that there is a high pitch at 00:18:177 - that is stronger than 00:18:177 - right? so why your current distance show the opposite? reduce at 00:16:412 (4,5) - and increase at 00:16:412 (4,5) -.
  7. 00:19:059 (2,3) - the current distance is too long imo also 00:20:382 (4,5) - doesn't have enough space to add more distance, at least same as 00:13:324 (6,7) -, so I strongly recommend you to move 00:19:941 (3,4) - around x:384
  8. 00:32:956 - aren't you skipping an important sound here? it might looks nicer if you add a note.
  9. 00:35:824 (1,2,3) - mmm why did you change your pattern? following your distances and structure: 00:34:059 (5,6,7) - 00:37:588 (4,5,6) - 00:38:471 (6,7,1) - 00:47:294 (2,3,4) - 00:48:177 (4,5,6) - etc... you always add more enphasis on the last object. So I suggest you to reduce the distance between 00:35:824 (1,2) - and increase at 00:36:485 (2,3) - to be more consistant.
  10. 00:42:000 (6,7) - increase the distance a bit to keep consistency with some similar patterns ( 00:13:765 (7,8,9,10) - 00:20:824 (5,6,7,8) - 00:40:235 (2,3,4) - ) I recommend you to move 00:42:000 (6) - to x:252.
  11. 00:43:765 (2,3,4,5) - I have troubles with this movement tbh:
    1.- I feel that there is only one different sound at 00:44:647 - but your current transition between 00:43:765 (2,3,4) - is too straight.
    2.- 00:44:647 (4,5) - this movement should be between 00:44:206 (3,4) - to enphasize the high pitch on 00:44:647 -
  12. 01:02:294 - add NC, you have a change on the melody and there is a high pitch too.
  13. 01:07:368 (6,1) - the change will be minimun but try to add more distance here, e.g you could move 01:07:588 (1) - to x:416 to feel the jump as you did on your previous patterns ( 00:14:427 (10,1) - 00:21:485 (8,1) - 00:32:074 (6,1) - 01:00:309 (5,1) - 01:01:853 (4,5) - etc... )
  14. Why 01:09:353 (4,5) - have more distance than 01:10:015 (7,8) - if the stronger sound is on 01:10:235 -?
  15. One more time I feel that 01:13:324 (4,5) - deserve more distance than 01:12:000 (2,3) -, it could be fixed easily moving 01:12:441 (3,4) - to x:72
  16. 01:21:706 (1,2,3,4,5) - this movement reminds me at 00:47:294 (2,3,4,5,6,7,1) -, so don't you wanna add a hyper dash between 01:23:250 (4,5) -?

00:05:382 (3,1) - yeah i agree but too hard to make hdash. also ppl said in mod before that it felt forced
00:12:441 (4,5) - kind of this. yeah jump but i never make jump clearly having same distance each other. just they look jump so ok
00:35:824 (1,2,3) - jump to (2) because the music. also kind of variation since this map will be so boring due the song

All looks fine on recheck - as an aside 01:03:618 (8,1) - technically violates a guideline of placing hypers close to the border, but given the low BPM and snap, it's not possible to make this any smaller without removing the hyper. Personally, I believe this doesn't negatively impact playability so is justifiable, but others may disagree.

Let's give it a try in any case.

Yep i want hdash for start the kiai but only can do 1/1 hdash with border vs border so not another choice. If other ppl think a normal dash is better then sure. Throw your opinion in here and i will change. Thanks jbh for the help /3/

00:25:235 (1) - Slight reduction on this could be nice, the sudden high distance compared to the distances being so low before could cause troubles here. x:144 would be nice.
00:49:941 (1) - Maybe a bit higher distance here, for the stronger pitch? Try x:152 on this.
01:04:059 (1) - Higher distancing for the start of the kiai and the strong note to start it would sound nice. Try x:332.
01:12:441 (2) - Increase distance for high pitch here, maybe x:144?

[Salad]

00:14:647 (1) - x:28, to make dash more obvious to a salad player.
00:20:824 (5,6) - Here, I don't know if a dash to 5 is intended, but it feels off, and it's currently difficult to do without dashing, and then the movement from 6 to 1 should be a dash but is possible to do without dashing. I'd move 5 to x:184 and 6 to x:133 (the head of sliderend 5 with this new placement). This creates a nice [ shaped pattern whilst fixing the issues I mentioned earlier.
01:18:177 (1) - Very slight increase here just to be sure the player knows to dash. Try x:136.

Really nice salad.

[Platter]

00:22:588 (2) - Making this a tiny bit less difficult without dashing would be nice, sound isn't really strong enough to indicate a dash but it's kinda close right now. Try x:448.
00:46:412 (1) - Higher distance would be nice, I found myself overdashing this quite a bit. Try x:128.
01:13:765 (5) - Curve this a bit to the left for flow?
01:17:735 (8) - Higher distance to this with a lower distance to the next note would be nice flow-wise, both to avoid overmoving, and for a nice flow into the direction change with the HDash. Try x:124 here.

That's it, I think. Really nice map, call me back.
