[Archived] Flashlight very buggy when switching tabs using macro key

Problem Details: Flashlight seems buggy with Auto on maps when going to desktop and coming back / switching tabs. (i got a macro key to switch tabs)

tested on these map the problem:

My guess is a problem to all maps.

(the flashlight bug sometimes work. like in the video. on other maps and in the video. and also just DESTROYS the flashlight
check the video)

- flashlight sometimes just gone off
-never tested without AUTO (cause i cant play flashlight :( )
- when the flashlight turns buggy , only sliders will give the effects
-clicks wont give any flashlight effects
-AUTO Loses accuracy
- after a while flashlight is gone instantly


if anyone need more proof i can upload more videos. but will take some time. 0.5MBPS upload speed......

It also seems like the more you stay outside of the osu! window, the longer it takes for flashlight to "come back". That's a really weird bug.

Edit: However, I'm not able to replicate it.

or should i even be doing anything. lol


Edit: I'm concern on what will osu do cause i hope this is not a hack. Cause i didnt do anything wrongggggg :?: :?:

If it's just a bug and you don't attempt to use it for personal benefit, Everything will be fine. Not going to punish you for reporting a bug.

The thing is, does this only happen when alt-tabbing using the the macro key? Although I don't think this can make a difference but, did you try alt-tabbing normally?

If it's just a bug and you don't attempt to use it for personal benefit, Everything will be fine. Not going to punish you for reporting a bug.

Well. Haven't. gonna try that now.

EDIT: tried already. still the problem persists....

As for replicating, I cannot.

Can you try replicating without Auto? Just use nofail.

When you alt+tab without Auto, the game pauses. Wonder if that prevents this from happening and being exploited.

The game pauses for me too.
