For the amount of time I played osu! my rank should be one or two digits shorter and it has been bothering me for a long time, but once I started focusing on the beatmaps I like and how much fun I have playing them it feels as if I'm playing a different game.

Rank is just a number imo. Everyone has their own playstyle. I'm 17k and can barely play 5 stars, but I still enjoy how I play. Just have fun and enjoy \o/
