We played Counter Strike Source in Starbucks just a week ago when we were waiting for our other friends, we made sure to stay quiet while playing and no one had an issue with it. I don't think it's strange nor weird tbh lol

You don't have to make sure, you have to make sure that you guys don't seem like a LAN party because I'm sure the ones who work in the place won't appreciate it. If you're up for casual play without making too much noise nor making much of a fuss while eating what you ordered then I'm sure people won't be bothered by that, and that is speaking based from experience.
